My Mom requested help with housekeeping so I contacted Griswold upon a recommendation I received. Met with Cathy to meet my Mom and was told she had the perfect person in mind to help her twice a week. Soon after Mom had an injury and Cathy stepped in with another perfect person to help with the remaining three days in the week. Mom is pleased with the care she is receiving which makes me very happy. Thank you Griswold!

I initially reached out to Griswold Home Care of Stratford to provide care a few hours each day for my father who has dementia. Since then our needs have changed, requiring full time care for both my parents. The staff has been so warm and helpful in accommodating our growing needs. Searching for a caretaker for our 98 year old mom , especially during a Pandemic, was certainly anxiety provoking for myself and my sisters. I have been using Griswold Home Care for almost four years. I have been extremely happy with our regular (24/7) Caregiver. She is a compassionate person and takes excellent care of my mother-in-law. The replacement Caregivers, which Griswold provides when our regular Caregiver takes a break, have met my expectation in the care of my mother-in-law. Over the years the office staff and Caregiver have been accommodating to the changing care needed by my mother-in-law. These changes occurred very smoothly and without impacting her care. My family secured care for our 92 year old mother after she broke a hip and shoulder, and it was determined she would no longer be able to remain alone in her home. Griswold Home Care placed a live in caregiver in mom's home assisting her with all activities of daily living as well as meal preparation and light house keeping. The Griswold office staff was attentive to moms needs and worked hard to provide us with the highest of quality caregivers that were a good match to mom's personality. Like most new things mom was hesitant to have care at first, not wanting to give up her independence, but over time she became comfortable having a caregiver in her home 24/7. As time went on her caregivers became a part of our family, they cared for mom as if she was a family member of their own. Aging in place is no easy task but it is what most people want in life we are grateful for the wonderful level of care Griswold provided to mom allowing her to remain at home until her final day at the age of 97.
