I was so grateful for this company when my father broke his hip recently. I was desperate to find a personal care service who could be at my parents home that evening. I called near the close of the business day when I realized we needed help. Taylor followed up with me within a short period of time and had a care taker at their home that evening. I cannot say enough about our experience with this company. They were incredibly accommodating and organized help quickly. Taylor was in contact with me the entire time that evening. I want to emphasize that I called this company around closing of business hours and they had someone at my parents home within a few hours. I highly recommend their services. We used personal care attendants while my 93 year old father was in a rehab unit where the rehab and nursing staff was only able to check on him every two hours. Each and every person we had working with my father from First Light was kind, patient, and professional. Couldn't recommend them more!

I feel so lucky to have found FirstLight! They were quick to respond (within an hour and at night) and had the amazing Lauren Hudson here at 9 the next morning. Lauren went above and beyond — bringing various things to my husband in the hospital two days in a row because I'd just had surgery and couldn't drive. She was on top of everything the entire time I needed her. The aides I had couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. From running errands to helping me shower and wash my hair to walking my 60lb dog! If you're looking for home healthcare, I highly recommend FirstLight.

We contacted Lauran when a crisis hit my parents and we found ourselves in complete dire straights, without any care available. My mother was sent home post surgery from the hospital without any care plan in place, without any way to get to the bathroom, and to my father who has dementia. We contact Lauran late in the day, before the holidays, and she arranged her schedule to get to my folks. She walked in to a completely chaotic situation and, with complete authority, took control and stabilized the situation. She helped to get home care in place just hours later for both the day and night. I am so grateful for Lauran and First Light. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I needed help for the night time after my knee replacement surgery. Lauren helped me set this up prior to my surgery. She could not have been more professional, and friendly to work with. I had caregivers for 7 nights to help me refill the ice for the cooling machine, get ready for bed, and be there at night if I should need anything as I was alone for part of that time. They were so helpful and lovely. Also, everyone one I spoke with at First Light was entirely professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if I should need help. FirstLight is a wonderful group of Home Care professionals! The caregivers were always on time (usually early), compassionate, courteous, well trained, and enjoyed their jobs. They interacted well with the patient and became a part of the family. I highly recommend them without any reservations!
