My mother (87) who lives with my husband and I is in mid to late stages of dementia she’s still mobile, but needs help with personal care and can’t be left alone. We interviewed a few agencies, but when i spoke with Hop I knew we had a found a professional and compassionate caregiving service. I highly recommend Assisting Hands for any home care that is needed. We used this company when my husband had knee surgery. They are very caring, reliable and always there. When the aide that was working for us, couldn’t come.one of the owners came to cover her hours. I couldn’t have asked for any better help. My dad is 90 years old and is wheelchair bound with dementia and requires fill time supervision My mother is 81 years old and she still cooks every meal and maintains their own house. My siblings and I are able to stay over about 75% of the time. However, there are times when we are unable to be there to help out. Thank goodness my mother found Assisting Hands. My dad can be a handful and Hop, Lap, Thao, Robert and team give me the confidence that when they are there, I have nothing to worry about. Without warning I needed to find assistance for my sister who was having treatment for cancer. I was referred to Assisting Hands by friend. I was in a bit of bind as I worked full time and lived out of state. I contacted Assisting Hands Duluth in the Atlanta area. The owners were very conscientious and did and assessment of my sisters needs quickly. They came up with a plan to help my sister navigate every day challenges such as self-care and meals.
