A Place At Home is a fabulous company to use if you are housebound or need additional care taking you to doctors appointments helping keep your house clean cooking meals. They have extremely friendly Staff. They are very reliable. I don’t know what I would do without them. The management is fantastic and so accommodating. A Place at Home Dina Jenney and her team of carers looked after my step mother Kate, for many years. Kate was absolutely determined to stay in her home and A Place at Home were instrumental in enabling her to live her final years as she wished. I live abroad and knowing that Kate was so well looked after was a great relief to me. I know the rest of my family, many of whom live far away feel the same. My step mother had a very unusual schedule and wanted carers to fit in with that, Dina went to extreme lengths to give her the support and care she wanted on the terms she wanted. She wanted as much continuity of carers over the week as was possible and again A Place at Home found carers to make this possible. As her situation changed and more hours were desired, Dina and her staff were always ready to provide excellent carers that would fit in my Kate’s needs and schedule which was not easy. While we all felt she would benefit from more care hours my step mother was resistant to that, and again Dina and her team worked with her to respect her wishes. When my step mother realised she needed full time care in her apt. Dina and her team put that in place immediately and I can honestly say that was when Kate experienced some of the best quality of life as she acknowledged this to me on numerous occasions. All the carers that I met, and the others that were reported to me, were excellent, and went above and beyond to make sure Kate was comfortable and supported. Throughout many years, the carers from A Place at Home met my step mothers very high expectations. Dina Jenney and the others in the office were always there for Kate, and while consulting with the rest of the family they made sure that Kate knew her needs were what mattered and central which were accommodated as much as humanly possible. The service was not only ultra professional but it was deeply personal, making every effort to fit in with her needs and demands, I cannot imagine a better service to enable Kate to live in her own home. I have found A Place at Home to be an excellent health care provider. The Home Health Aides I have worked with are friendly but very professional. The office staff and schedulers are also helpful and work with me to get the best arrangements for time and staffing.

There are not enough words to thank Dina and her team for the incredible job they did for me as I struggled to take care of a family member who could no longer take care of herself. I had no idea how to handle the situation and Dina guided me through all the steps. The care-giver who came into the home was a real gem: caring, gentle, patient, and most importantly, very adept in dealing with an older person experiencing cognitive decline. Dina Jenney of A Place at Home is truly a miracle. I don’t know where I would be or where my mother would be without her! Dina’s care, concern, compassion, follow-through and reliability are so high that I want to give this review 10 stars! Or 100 or a million stars! Trying to help my mother who has dementia has been one of the most challenging efforts for me but Dina has always been there for me every step of the way since I reached out to her for my Mom’s care. She goes over and above! My understanding of dementia and the level of care she truly needed was not very good and Dina (with compassion, care, and heart) educated me. She is helping me as much as she is helping my Mom. Now my mother is in a memory care community that I absolutely love and appreciate deeply. Dina helped at a most critical time when my mother was in the hospital and needed to be discharged. It was one of the hardest times of my life not knowing how my Mom could get the care she needs to be happy and safe. My mother came home on hospice care the beginning of June 2021 and originally we had another "nationally adverstised" agency. That agency would leave us without continual care for my mother. We let them go after finding A Place At Home. Dina and her staff are some of the most caring people you could ever meet. If there was a small problem with scheduling, Dina herself would come and fill in where needed. We NEVER went without care at this agency. When Dina and her business partner were first contacted, they came out to the house to meet my Mom and the family to find out what our needs were. You will NOT find that with any other agency. They spent well over an hour speaking with us to ensure that everything my Mom needed would be met. We lost Mom 6/23/21 and Dina came to the service and has stayed in contact with our family ever since then. I can't say enough about the care and concern shown to our family during this extremely difficult time. If any of you have any doubts about this agency, I give the agency permission to provide you with my phone number and I will personally share my family's experience with you.

My family used the services of A Place At Home for about six months for the care of our 91 year old father. We were very happy with A Place at Home, from our initial contact and intake conversation to the excellent care provided by the caregiver. Dina Jenny is responsive and easy to work with, great to communicate with, and we felt she always had our dad's welfare topmost in her mind. There were no unexpected cancelations or "no-shows" from his caregiver and she went over and above in her attention to our father. She brought him craft materials to engage with him and every week took him for a drive, something he loves to do. I highly recommend A Place At Home and would use them again if we had the need!

Following recent foot surgery I was 'non-weightbearing' for 6+ weeks. A Place At Home provided excellent in home care for me. The caregiver was prompt, patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. Initially she provided 24/7 care. The services included personal care, grocery shopping, laundry, meal prep, doctor's visits and more. Once I was able to manage better we switched to day care services. I was very pleased with the company and recommend their services! Thank you APAH
