Reviews Townsend Park Homes
April 2026
I visit Townsend Park Homes weekly to see two of my relatives, and I feel it’s important to share both the positives and concerns about this property. This building is intended to serve elderly residents and individuals with disabilities, so safety should be a top priority. Unfortunately, I don’t feel the location is as safe as it should be. There are often groups of people hanging outside, which can feel uncomfortable and concerning”especially for a vulnerable population. I strongly believe the building would benefit from 24-hour security to better protect residents and visitors. Another major area for improvement is resident engagement. Many of the people living here would greatly benefit from recreational programs, activities, and opportunities to get out, socialize, and enjoy life more. These residents deserve more than just housing”they deserve quality of life. I would even be willing to help run or support a program if the opportunity were available. On a positive note, I truly appreciate that meals are provided daily for residents and families. That’s a beautiful and necessary service, especially for those going through hard times. Having access to food without worry makes a real difference. Overall, this building has potential, but improvements in safety and resident programming would make it a much better and more supportive place to live.
