My husband & I wanted to learn more about the New Haven Senior Living Apartments offered through Shag. Leasing Specialist, Kari Holiman, was friendly, knowledgeable & professional. She gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. We were very impressed with the property, its amenities and the staff.

Neighborhood has gone downhill in the last eight years I have been here. Homeless folks are everywhere. Apartments are very small, and interior doors and cabinets are plywood with veneer. Cheap appliances. Laundry rooms on every other floor. They just put in new W/D. Some apts have W/D or hookups but not for full size. Upkeep is poor. The main elevator remained unrepaired for months.Quarterly inspections of all apartments. Controlled access building with garage, but don't plan on getting a space when you move in. The spaces cost $75/mo. VERY noisy area with Highway 99 a block away. All utilities included except cable and electricity. Basic cable and internet are available in-house through Comcast, and it is a good deal. Like all other rentals in Seattle, it has become expensive to live here. $1200+. Income and age/disability requirements. A corporation now owns the building, and rents have increased for the last 2 years.
