The leasing/Building manager was very professional and helpful with our paperwork and move in date. The grounds and Building are very clean and kept in good condition. Meridian Court is located near light rail and shoping.

Leasing agent who is also Assistan Manager was very professional and knowledgeable. Over all the property is well taking care of. One bedroom units are small. Units don't have w/d or hook ups, and because of that the asking price for rent is very over-priced, especially for people who are on the fix income.

When I moved into the Meridian Court apartments the current manager at the time was awesome. When she left right around going on 2 years now with the exception of the maintenance team which is awesome, the current manager has no respect for the residents that challenges her for the demeanor in which she communicates with them. Residents here at the Meridian Court Apartments are either retired or have a disability that has taken their ability to continue to give back to society like having a life threatening illness which can be emotionally hurtful and this current manager does not care. Kindness is free and plays a huge part in healing for some, but it is a constant battle with this manager here now. Would I recommend Meridian Court to anyone absolutely not unless they can put someone here like a management couple that is closer to the residents age that have professional management experience, otherwise the turnover here will continue to be great. People want professionals in place who know how to speak and act towards them not be threatened by tone, body language or even words. This is not affordable housing by any means.

My relatives and I went into Meridian Court-Senior Affordable Apartment in Federal Way last Friday. Teresa Green-Hughes was the one who served us at the time. She shows us the apartment. Then return to her office and help us filled out the applications. Teresa blessed her heart she helped us filled out and explained the application when we have questions. She was very professional, kind and very helpful on assisting us with the application. We couldn’t done the application without her help. We love and appreciate you Teresa. God bless you on your mission serving people like us to make our day easier. We handed the fee and the deposit to Teresa. Teresa indicated she will be contacting us 2-3 weeks if we approve for the apartment. We left that day feeling blessed because of people like Teresa. Deeply Grateful, Kelemete Elika

I was able to schedule a same day tour with Teresa Green-Hughes. Very friendly and helpful leasing agent. Well explained the community and some of the activities one could expect while living at Meridian Court. The apartment viewed was well maintained and surprisingly spacious for a small 1 bdrm/1ba unit.

We toured Meridian Court Apartments today with Michelle. I have to say she was very professional and made the whole process very easy. Michelle handled my parents application very quickly and got them approved same day. I highly recommend Meridian Court for anyone looking for a 55+ community. I first saw the building yesterday, It was immaculate inside and out. The leasing agent Michelle was absolutely professional and welcoming. She put me at ease finding a new place to live. I saw not one thing out of place and the hallways were bright and had a very fresh smell. I'm hoping I get to move in here. The apartment she showed me was perfect. It really could not have been better. Michelle is da bomb!

My Mom has lived here for over 2 years now and the management team prior was the worst. Never in the office, never answered the phone, and had rude attitude ms towards our most vulnerable people. Now that the remodeling is finally done they have new management staff. Catrice and Michelle have been the best managers ever. They care about the Senior community and it shows with every thing they do. They are always available and have speedy responses to any issues. We love these two ladies. They deserve a raise for sure. I know as an IP for my mom caring for seniors has it’s own unique challenges. I finally feel comfortable with where my mom is living. God bless you Catrice and Michelle.

I recently reached out to Meridian Court Apts to inquire about availability. I was immediately contacted by Michelle, asst. community manager, and we set up a time/date to meet. Michelle greeted me plesantly and was very accomodating in taking me a tour of the property as well as showing me avail. apartments and answering all questions transparently. In my search for an apartment I can say that Michelle was by far the most accomodating manager I have met. You can tell she was very proud of the property and I look forward to moving in in the near future. Future resident!

Recently moved my aunts into a comfortable, newly remodeled unit at Meridian Court. While the application process did have some hold-ups the property manager, Michelle, was incredibly helpful and communicative doing all she could to expedite the process. Competitive rental rates, secure building accessible by key card, and in a great location- shopping, dining, transit center in walking distance. Would Recommend!

It's a pretty nice place that's newly remodeled. Good location and everything is wheelchair accessible including ramps, elevators, push button doors. Parking for guests is not guaranteed and may require a small hike from the shopping center across the main street out front. There are 2 buildings, which unfortunately confuses the pothead delivery drivers with Amazon, FedEx, and UPS. So, getting a package is also not guaranteed here and you'll want to be home if it does make it to your door because something must be in the air that causes a box to grow legs and walk away. Rent is a fair amount for the space and everything looks nice now. There are several disabled parking spots too and a smoking area out back with chairs. There may also be gardening space available in raised beds in the courtyards. I don't think vegetables grow legs, but they may grow wings. I would recommend this place to any senior with limited income that doesn't garden or receive any packages that can't be reimbursed by the shipper if they don't make it to you. All the people that I've met here are really nice! Watch out for dirty laundry machines though.

Local office staff also nothing to support tenants when they are harassed by other tenants. They take no part in trying to resolve a negative situation. They don’t make tenants abide by rules of the lease. Rent is cheap, but so is the property. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Could be a great place to live, if only staff would either pick up the phone or at least call you back. We even tried a face to face hoping we would have some luck. Nope didn't happen. I actually got through a couple of days ago and was informed that we didn't qualify. Although on their website we would have qualified for the age criteria after asking her to check their criteria she the said there was no availability. I wish I could say I was shocked but after looking to find a place for over a month her Customer service skills were pretty much what you run into. Shag just like most over 55 apartments personal stinks. If your income is fixed and you have run into some medical issues that have screwed up your credit. You two can become homeless. ie; We habe never been late on our rent. We were paying 949 and decided that we wanted to pay lower rent so we could may be go to dinner or a movie . We only net 1767 monthly. We were turned down for an apt paying 595. Rental history means nothing anymore. Sorry to rant just tired.

This was just recently remodeled but could use more amenities and parking. I find it is absolutely ridiculous that the residents cannot celebrate the holidays with any Christmas related decorations on or outside their door. But Halloween is ok????
