Well I appreciate the cleaness that Ivan Woods Apartments provides. But I wanted a Bigger Apartment with a Balcony. That's the disappointment I have. There is a neighbor above me that keeps banging and making noise like they are in a jungle or something I reported this and suppose to have been taking care of but it continues they have no respect at all around here that why I rather be on the the 3rd floor.

I've lived here six months...Nothing but good things to say about this complex. The manager and maintenance people are friendly and helpful. Unit's are clean and well maintained.

I like living here at Ivan Woods, and I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS with our manager or our maintenance man Pat. My chief complaints would be with the corporate office. Sona, our manager, goes well and far beyond her "call of duty" as far as I am concerned. As like most senior citizens ( which she is not) occasionally she does have a bad day but, 99.9 % she is extremely pleasant. She is willing to bend over backwards for the people that live in the community. A lot of the residents want to moan and complain about her but, she takes it all in stride. As far as corporate, I will not be so nice. We just had "the parking lot" repaved. I am glad that it was done BUT, the worst part of the drive (front entrance drive and the back drive) should have been done as well. Furthermore, things in this building need to be updated. The issues with the boiler, and the hot water are NOT the problems of the management. They are because the corporate office seems to be full of greed, and not willing to actually spend the money and put it into Peak Living properties. I would like to see a member of the corporate executive office, not the regional manager, come in and actually see things in this building. They might learn a lot ! AGAIN, I have no complaints about our manager Sona, or our maintenance man Pat. They are wonderful as far as I am concerned.

I lived there for several years while I worked at a job in Lansing. Nothing fancy, but it was affordable, and the people were nice. I found the staff to be quite helpful.
