We enjoyed staying at Albany Commons last year. It’s a quiet community, safe area, and decent prices. Our only issues were the minimal parking spots and some neighbors had 4-5 cars per unit and it was a struggle finding a spot sometimes. And when neighbors moved in or out, we would find roaches. (It only happened twice). We would definitely consider coming back as out of 4 communities, it’s been the quietest apartment community we have ever lived in.

Maintenance came to change battery for fire alarm as it was going off. Had not been checked in 2 years so he decided to check and replace all of them, which I appreciated. Very disappointed though that when I requested my HVAC filter to be replaced, as I do every month, I was told by the Property Manager that they only change the filters every 6 months but they would be happy to change them more frequently if I paid for the filters. WHAT?????????? I've lived here for over 5 years and every month request my filters to be changed because this apartment is terribly dusty and have never been told I needed to pay for the filters. I would think, from a health department perspective they would want a tenant that was concerned about not having a fire hazard! I can only imagine what they will tell me when I ask to have my dryer vent cleaned out because it's been over 2 years for that too! Really? Very disappointed.

I really enjoyed my stay at Albany Commons. I may return someday. Quiet, nice, and very enjoyable community. I just wish my upstairs neighbors would have quieted their children down before 1am. I have to be up at 5am some days. I did turn them in, but it still did not get better. So I opted to search for sleep.

Workman was courteous, came in like he read the mind of the broken appliances, fixed BOTH (washer and garbage disposal), and was OUT in less than 30min. Not only that, he called the FOLLOWING day after the request, told him my kid was alone and I needed to do the following day, and BOOM, he did. He was on it and so were you guys for dispatch. The whole move in process was great and went smoothly! Kristy was amazing and really helped me through the whole process from the moment I decided to sell my house to the time of move in. I was able to rent an apartment with a two car garage which was a nice surprise. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained. The complex accepts pets as well. My only complaint would be residents driving way too fast in the complex.

The complex has changed a lot in the past year. Rent has gone up a lot but they have no updated or changed anything to accommodate. The grounds aren’t kept as nice. The sidewalks have hardly been shovels or salted during the storms we’ve gotten. They stopped giving furnace filters out. The gates have been opened for months even when there isn’t snow in the forecast. The office workers are not the friendliest.

This is the first time we’ve ever had to use maintenance in our 4 years here. We’ve had a kitchen drip ’ that’s been slowly getting worse. Ted came and he changed the cold and hot both. And he showed me how they were both very bad and the plastic parts just cracked and crumpled at not much pressure on it. He’s very knowledgeable and very helpful. He got the job done in a timely manner and he and my husband had a good time while he was working. They have become kinda good friends since living here. Ted is very good at his job and he sure did help me out with this very bad annoying situation. I’m so very grateful.

Albany Commons is a great place to live. The grounds are very well kept and the flowers each summer are incredible! The Maintenance staff is amazing and take great pride in their work. I sent a request, your app said they completed the work, the next day, there was no work order, now I get a letter, saying that a company will be here 10-31, to spray for roaches, which I think I only saw one. I tried to call the office, but it never goes through, and I can't leave a voice mail, because it hangs up on me. For the most part I’m pleased with maintenance here at Albany Commons but my garage still smells of the dogs that were here previously. They power washed but really they dropped the ball on this one. Was told they would paint floor but then said the couldn’t. So not sure what to do.

Aaron helped with signing up for online payments.Explained what Flex was,which wasn't clear.Thanks for all,except Increases. Hey need front door painted or replaced,would splintered.Shingles haven't been cleaned since I moved in 13 yrs ago. Maintenance was so efficient and fast.Fixed doors that came off track.Did great!!! Efficient staff,fixed,door that came off track,next day. My Last post keeps appearing.The most recent maintenance service was perfect Came immediately to unplug the sink.Thanks Gail,our new office staff.Very pleasant and Aaron Need to fix site to add New Post.Old post come up under new maintenance services. My husband, Keith and I have lived at Albany Commons Apartments in Westerville, Ohio for over 10 years now. The maintenance staff are quick to respond to maintenance order requests as well as friendly. The same can be said in regard to the office staff. Aaron and Angie are the best! I knew when I drove into the complex over 10 years ago that Albany Commons felt like home. It just felt right. 10+ years later, I can't imagine living anywhere else.
