I currently reside here they are pet friendly but not kid friendly. If you have grandchildren and would like for them to visit you and enjoy the pool forget it. You have residents looking out their balconies as if they were the pool police and making complaints that are not true!!! The times that I have taken my grandkids to the pool there have been no other kids in the pool. So again if you have grandchildren and like for them to visit you this is not the place!!!

Mera Westgate has been a wonderful place for my dad to live. My father lives in Arizona while I live in New York, so finding a safe and comfortable community for my widowed dad was extremely important to me. Because I was searching from out of state, I initially had to rely on video tours while looking at several different places. The staff at Mera Westgate were incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating throughout the entire process, answering all of my questions and making what could have been a stressful situation much easier. When I was finally able to visit in person, I immediately felt a sense of relief knowing this was the right place for him. The building is clean, well maintained, and very welcoming. The staff truly care about the residents and regularly organize activities, entertainment, and meals that bring everyone together and create a strong sense of community. The residents are friendly and genuinely look out for one another, which meant a lot to me as a daughter living across the country. The maintenance team is very responsive and handles requests quickly and efficiently. After touring many communities, nothing compared to Mera Westgate. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my dad is safe, happy, and surrounded by caring people. Irene S.

I have lived here at Mera Westgate since it opened three years ago and it is a beautiful facility that offers many amenities. Our present Management and Sales Staff are wonderful and the best we have had! We have a beautiful pool where we can participate in Aqua Fit classes or just enjoy a dip in the pool on a hot day. Other fitness and exercise classes are offered as well. The weekly events held at the Bistro are a lot of fun and a great way to socialize with others. I love my apartment and it’s just the right size for me!

My mom (Gail) has been at Mera Westgate for over a year. This is a beautiful apartment community that has been friendly, fun, and helpful since day one. Both the staff (huge shout out to Daisy - she is wonderful at what she does and wonderful as a person) and the people who live here have been so kind and inclusive to my mom. She has made wonderful friends, and it seems like she is doing something every day like going swimming in their beautiful pool, meeting up with friends at bistro, or to one of the many monthly social events. It's also in a really fun location next to a casino and a big entertainment district, plus it is a 20 minute freeway ride to Downtown Phoenix and a quick drive East on Glendale Ave to Downtown Glendale. If you are looking for an independent adult apartment community for your parent(s) I recommend giving this place a look!

Mera Westgate exceeded my expectations. The property is beautifully maintained with plenty of parking for guests and three options for residents. Its location off the 101 is ideal for getting around the west valley. Five minutes to Park West for dinner and shopping. Less than ten minutes to enjoy dinner or shopping at Westgate mall. You could easily enjoy a Cardinal game or a concert living so close to the State Farm Stadium. This community offers more than just a home, it offers you a lifestyle! With several floorplan options available, many with great cooking space and closets, it would be very easy to adjust to your new living space.
