My husband and I made a list of five 55+ independent living apartment properties in the Vintage Park, Klein and Cypress areas. We made a checklist to begin our search. After driving by all five, we narrowed our search to two based on curb appeal alone. We made a tour appt. with Mera first. Maycie was our guide. We walked the entire property with her. She painstakingly answered every question we had. Then we met Velma. She added more about the history of Mera, residents' activities and maintenance. We were impressed how casually residents would drop in to say hello or ask a question. We never made it to property number 2. No reason. Every item on our checklist Mera has. We were dreading our search for a new home.Thank you, Maycie and Velma, for your help! See you in July.

I’ve experienced 2 other places, and Mera is far the best on all counts. Friendly people, the staff is the best, many amenities, plus I have a small, but private grassed backyard plus my patio for Gina. It’s heaven compared to the 2 other properties that I’ve experienced before this! But it’s been well worth the move - twice - to get here!!

I just moved in and I am very excited be here. The office staff has been extremely efficient, helpful, and friendly. My apartment was in excellent condition when I moved in. Velma is the best ever assistant community manager. She goes over and beyond and always with a smile! I wish everyone you meet in life had her contagious energy! She always is friendly to all I see her with! She makes my day when I go in her office and she lights up like a Christmas tree and is always interested in your needs and what’s going on in your day! I just retired and Velma is the Best to have in the office to make you feel at home when you walk in!

Absolutely beautiful facility with some of the best amenities I've ever heard of. I recently helped some of my elderly neighbors move in after they sold their house. I am very impressed with this complex and would recommend it to anyone 55+ and active who wants a nice place to stay.

I have been a happy resident of Mera Vintage Park for 3 years. I work from home, and I can see the BBQ grills from my apartment. The maintenance man, Osmar, was cleaning the grills with his whole life. He did an amazing job. The toughest stains were removed. He respectfully does this with all of his tasks. Please give this gentleman a bonus for doing his job above and beyond. Kudos Osmar! I'm glad you're here.

I am a Realtor that specializes in working with the over-55 community, and Mera Vintage Park may be the best active-lifestyle community I have ever seen. The term "active lifestyle" needs to be understood here. This is not a "retirement community" in the normal sense of the word. The word "active" is genuine here as there are things this 41-year old would love to do! Virtual golf, great workout facility, resort-style pool, movie room, multiple socializing areas indoors and outdoors, and all of it is right in the Vintage Park footprint. The back of the property even walks out to Kickerillo Park with a nice dog park! Highly, highly recommend this place for the active lifestyle adults who want to be around like-minded people and live their golden years in a fun, active way. - DT

7/13/21: Today Scott the Supervisor Maintence Man come over and fixed a request at lightening speed’! He is absolutely an asset to the community. He is very talented, skilled and smart!! Update: Scott the supervisor in the Maintence Department came to my rescue again on October 29, 2021. Thank you Scott. You are my warrior in white shiny armor! 7/16/22: I want to leave another great review on how much I love living at Mera Vintage Apartments. Roger the manager is AMAZING. I told him yesterday that I needed a maintenance service call and he sent someone over ASAP. Now this is what I call fantastic resident care from our manager! Roger has such a big heart he truly cares about all of us residents. The maintenance supervisor Scott came right over and fixed my problem. It was so easy for him because he is so skilled at his craft. Valdamir his side kick is always helpful and talented with a smile on his face. Both are extremely talented and fast with the highest of professionalism. Sandra the assistant manager rocks! She makes all our events and residents’ socials extraordinary fun!! Fantastic location! State-of-the-art and brand new. Amenities are vast and it’s hard to find a location with this level of variety. Anything from bingo to Zumba to birthday parties for the residents are just some examples of the fun experiences here. Roger and staff are extremely professional as well!

When I moved from my house in Cypress to Mera Vintage Park I was afraid I was going to feel uncomfortable being in an apartment, but this place is so wonderful and beautiful that I don't have time to miss my old house. The building has so many facilities to enjoy everyday; the residents are all wonderful and friendly; Roger (manager) and Sandra (assistant manager) are very sweet and easy to talk to. Maintenance people is always open to clarify technical questions. Everybody here at MERA make you feel welcome. I am so thankful to live here.

My wife and I visited this property today. It is gorgeous and the staff is outstanding and very attentive. The swimming pool area is absolutely gorgeous. If you are in search of a new place to call home, this is it. You won't be disappointed.
