Moved here less than a year ago and love it. The new manager, Marilyn, is exceptional-organized, kind, responsive and engaged. Don, our maintenance is beyond wonderful. He is kind, fixes anything and everything. We are enjoying new carpet and flooring in the common areas, upgrades occurring throughout the building and community events that both of them are involved. It is a safe, clean and a wonderful community. Grateful.

it's hard to write a 5 star review--"new management" has done an excellent job to update hallways-and outside paint job-grounds crew and snow removal excellent-landscaping is old-yes-close to library and community center--if looking for bike trails or walking paths, however, there aren't any sidewalks around the building-you walk in the parking lot or the side street or have to walk through the community room to get outside to walk around a pond-those of us who like to bike/hike had to haul our bikes to the local parks e.g. Long Lake or other bike/walking trails-the inside of the apartments have not been updated-new management IS responsive if an appliance needs to be replaced-a couple of items to note tho-laundry is shared/coin laundry on each floor-air conditioning is wall unit only-not all apartments have a dishwasher-the drawback is:-if you live on the north side/street facing side-most residents will comment about the smokers who are supposed to smoke in designated area- smoke usually goes in the windows if the wind is in the right direction-Interstate 694 traffic/noise is horrendous 24/7-10th street is busy-and sometimes noisy when the school gets out up the street at Mounds View High School- if the community center has a party/reception on Saturday nights in the summer time-the party room windows and doors are opened and you can usually hear the band etc until the rented time is over-sometimes 1:00am-glad the building is "pet free" at all times added review-Brighton Pond/Highland Management has disappointed lots of it's residents over the last 6 months-very unresponsive to requests-since Jennifer left-we have not had good property manager on site even for the two days we are allowed one-they can't keep a maintenance man-inside of apartments are never updated-the charge for carpet and window cleaning is outrageous-If I could afford to move, I would-we had a horrible winter with a couple of residents-almost left nightmares-

I have been a resident of Brighton Pond since 2017. Their management team is exceptional. The building and grounds area are clean and that is the main reason I decided to move here 6 years ago. People in the building are friendly and helpful when you reach out to them. If you're 55 or older and looking for a place near a library, post office and bus stop and Community Center...this is it!! I would highly recommend Brighton Pond.
