We just signed a lease with Cogir for our mom. While we thought Cogir offers a great package for the price, One main reason why we ended up signing, was that the people who we were working with seem to sincerely care for the wellbeing of current and future residents. Sharon worked so hard with us to make our mom feel at ease and make the decision to make this move.

After 30 some years i moved my mom from the west coast to back to the east coast to Cogir at Austin Village. I can't say enough good things about it. Sharon Willis, the sales person, was outstanding. She gave us a tour and explained all the options in detail. We were looking for a one bedroom, but only the studios were available. She offered up the option to take the studio until a one bedroom became available. She has helped us every step of the way. Being available at anytime we needed her...even on her day off she made sure she was at Cogir business office to help get the contract signed. It took a while before my mom's stuff was to arrive from the west coast. She followed up on a regular basis to check in. When we moved in, she was there. Made sure we had all the information we needed. She provided some urgent necessities we forgot and before we could get to the store. She has been a guiding light during the whole process. The rest of the staff as well, very courteous and kind. Always going out of the way to answer questions or reassure us of the culture there. The residents as well, very friendly. The place is immaculately clean. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

We moved our mother to Ambriant a couple years ago to be closer to family, Little did we know she would gain a whole other family through the Ambriant residents and staff. The administration, servers, cleaning crew and maintenance staff are all superb. The entire community is close knit family that looks out for and takes care of each other. Truly a special facility!

Yes, this morning I was quite reluctant to attend with my son and daughter-in-law an assisted living facility. See, my home, in Evans/Augusta, Georgia of 47 years, was recently destroyed by Hurricane Helene in late September. I was deeply impressed with professional assistance, noncomplicated options, clean/neat/roomy, open-air, facilities. Bottom Line...I signed on the spot. I have never required much time to pull the trigger if I see something I like. I put down the first month's rent and have 90 days rent free to furnish my apartment. Presently, at 76 with hampered mobility this facility offers a Stop-Gap on a month-to-month basis. I like what I saw...Bill Blau, WAR EAGLE!

In multiple categories, Ambriant at Austin Villages is superb. Their most outstanding aspect, though, is their personnel. Lesley Donovan, Regional Director, has established an atmosphere of caring, trust and friendship which not only extends to the managing staff, Deborah and Teresa, and ALL the employees, but also infuses the residents as well. As we visited on campus for five days, we were met with warm smiles and interested - and interesting - conversation. The facility, about 18 months old, is a marvel of architecture and quality construction, well designed for seniors' needs. A visit and tour are a must.

My mom moved in less than a week ago and I have been so impressed with the staff and residents if I could I would give it 10 Stars. If you are looking for a place for retirement this is a great place to be.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The residents, the chef, all of the staff, just phenomenal!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was the place where my grandma would feel very welcomed and treated like family! The residents that live here were all in great spirits, and we’re very friendly. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful and figuring out the best options for my grandmother. The food is the best food I have ever had! Even more than dine in restaurants in the city! The spare rib is excellent! My grandmother and her husband picked the one bedroom apartment. It has plenty of room for them. They all have high and finishes on all of the rooms and I like how everything is built into the one price so you don’t have a bunch of little fees here and there. It’s great how they have walk-in showers and the builders really thought of their customers well designing. They even have their own washers and dryers in their rooms! They layout of the building and rooms are all accommodating for wheelchairs and scooters. There’s not enough good things I could say about this place! I looked at many places in Mecklenburg and Union County, and this is the only one that had the best price, and was like a five star hotel!

We looked everywhere from Indian Land, SC to Charlotte and Mint Hill, NC before deciding on Ambriant at Austin Village for our family member. It is beautiful with high end finishes and well designed floor plans. The level of amenities are perfect for someone who doesn't want to do all the cooking and cleaning anymore, but doesn't need health assistance yet. Leslie Donovan, the Community Director, has been great! She answered our multitude of questions kindly, quickly, and clearly and has accommodated all our needs--even a last minute change of floor plans! Every staff member we have met has been top notch with a personality that suits their role. Our family member loves the food, loves the apartment, has already found a friend group, and is the happiest I have seen in years.

After researching and looking at various retirement communities, a friend found Ambriant for me. I am renting a 2-bedroom apartment with windows that look out on trees in the woods! The staff and the people who live here are all so friendly and welcoming. It is a very peaceful and joyous place to live! Leslie Donovan, the Community Director of Ambriant, is absolutely great! With a smiling face and the necessary time helped me find the absolutely perfect place to live! She is a superb representative of Ambriant.

I am one of the newest residents at Austin Village. We have been here over a week and love everything this boutique property has to offer. The very well thought out community on Chestnut Lane offers a beautiful apartment building and 14 duplexes. We have a beautiful apartments here. We have looked at several apartment communities around Charlotte. I enjoy apartment layouts and design, the 2 bedroom option we chose has a beautiful layout where all of our furniture and needs have been met! We have made this apartment our home with everything we need. Our dog Benji loves the outdoor space right outside our apartment. Everything is so beautiful.
