Amazing staff and caring. Best I have encountered. This comes with great emphasis as I am a Medical Doctor familiar with all the different agencies and facilities. My family went through 5 different places for my mother-in-law before we found this one. Greg Bila,owner was hands on care with his staff from day one til the end. Alpha Senior Care is the best care facility in San Antonio! Greg and Amanda Bila and their staff provide friendly, compassionate, and excellent care in a small group setting. The food is delicious, the facility is immaculate, and the beautiful grounds provide a break from indoors. They work well with Hospice companies to provide the best care for the clients. We consider Greg a member of our family after the five and a half years he cared for our mother. You will not find a better place for your loved one.

Our experience with Alpha Senior Care was nothing short of exceptional. Greg and Amanda Bila and their entire staff worked tirelessly caring for our mom. We know that she was well cared for physically and spiritually and are very grateful for their care of her.

My mother was a resident in Alpha Senior Care for almost 3 years. She had just gotten back surgery and was not doing well. She was delirious, not talking, not responding to any kind of command. I was worried that she would require too much care to be admitted to Alpha. Greg went to the hospital to evaluate her situation and he welcomed her into Alpha. Not long after she was admitted, Greg had her talking and answering questions. It was amazing. She remained on total bed care for the duration of her time there. Greg, Amanda and the Alpha staff were wonderful. The home was always very clean. They gave mom very good care. They dressed her back wound daily. They provided different types of services such as manicures, hair cuts, visits from different people. I feel so lucky that we were able to find a place as wonderful as Alpha. I highly recommend Alpha for senior care.

Alpha Care was a God send. My mother was diagnosed with late stage Alzheimer's disease and it became difficult for my family and I to care for her. We were lucky enough to get a room for her at Alpha care during our time of need. She absolutely loved it there. The director, Greg is very involved and would send us pictures and video almost daily. The staff was so caring and attentive. They catered to her and we felt like family. They had music therapy, pet therapy and would take the time to sit and chat with her daily. She was in great hands. If you're looking for a senior living center , look no further. Everyone here has a servants heart and we know our mom was cared for both physically and spiritually.

Alpha Senior Care is a special place. Greg and Amanda Bila provide a home where the residents feel safe, the care is superior, and the food is excellent. Greg takes great care in the supervision and administration of all medications. The caregivers are warm and loving and provide 24 hour service for the patient needs. My mother was a resident in this home for 5 and a half years. I spent many hours with mom there and it was like a second home to me. If and when I need this kind of support, I can only hope that Alphs Senior Care is still there. I would gladly spend my last days in a place that makes you feel like home. Tripp and Jayme Presley

My mother lived at Alpha Senior Care for almost 2 years before she died. The staff, Greg, and the residents were absolutely wonderful. I saw her often, unannounced, and she was always well cared for. I'd give them ten stars if I could. It is hard to place a parent in a home, but Alpha is a home you can count on. We moved her from another home after a bad experience, so I was cautious. My mom was in end stage Alzheimers and required a lot of care. The staff were so kind to her, and treated her like their own. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My mom's hospice nurse continues to sing their praises, and she has been in a lot of care facilities. If you can, place your loved one here!

This is an excellent home where the residents are given superior care and love! Our family was truly blessed to have our father in the care of such devoted staff! I am especially grateful for the owners, Greg and Amanda Bila, who became family to us, and kept us well informed of our father's health and needs. Absolutely the best facility in San Antonio! The care & needs of the resident are the staff's ( head caregiver is live -in as well as at least one other staff member) & owners are completely hands-on in all phases of resident care . Meals are excellent & fit the individual needs & preferences of each resident. We have had experience with other facilites in San Antonio for my Mother's & brother's care. You won't fine a better facility than Alpha Senior Care. You can relax knowing your loved one is getting the attention and respect they deserve.

My mom, Barbara, lived here the last 3 months of her life (January-April 2021). Greg (owner) & his wonderful staff absolutely spoiled mom. Not ever having much money & always having to watch her expenses all her life- Mom always dreamed of living in a big, beautiful home and she certainly had that wish come true here! The staff would joke with mom, watch tv with her, take her on walks outside, talk w her about any subject mom wanted to talk about, & even prayed with her! This facility (home for mom) always smelled good and the residents are all bathed on a regular basis. Greg was always available for anything. He always welcomed visitors and made it easy by having rapid COVID tests available for all visitors. Greg would send me pictures & videos of mom having a great time too! I'm so thankful to God and Greg for the wonderful care mom received! I would recommend Alpha Senior Care Home in Shavano Park to anyone looking for an alternative to a nursing home. 5 stars- well deserved!!
