By far the best therapy team and care! When you walk in there is a lot of activities going on, the patients look well attended to. I was surprised to see so many workers around interacting with patients every time I came in. I am pleasantly surprised that we had such good communication from staff, when our dad was there. With facilities like this, it is always nerve racking to think of the what ifs and read about past issues. You unfortunately hear about the bad more than the good.

Forget about everything you've heard from the past because this place is TOP TIER. They're under new management which seems to be working out well. Every single staff member ACTUALLY cares about the residents and their well-being. I watched my dad go into rehab by stretcher and by the time he was done, he WALKED out the front door. If I could give Pilot Butte a 10/10, I would. I highly, highly recommend for anyone seeking physical rehab for themselves or their family.

This is an absolute bullet proof choice for the in-laws you do not get along with. Trust me when I say that you'll be happy to hear how your disgruntled in-laws are taken care of at this place. Dare I say, they may not even make it out of this place once they are admitted which may be exactly what you want to have happen to your in-laws, I dont know. Just keep this place in mind if youve got issues with your in-laws.

I was recently tasked with finding my mother a rehab center. As there are only two in town, I really wanted to put her in the brand new glitzy center. But she would have had to wait another week at least. So we took her to Pilot Butte. I have to say, at first I was not impressed. Granted we had been rushed out of the hospital, which landed us at Pilot Butte at shift change. So they scrambled and got us in my mom's room. But then we sat there for 45 minutes before anyone came to settle her in. That was the worst of it. Yes the place is old and quite possibly has not been updated since the 80s, but it's clean. The staff was fantastic with my mother! They were accommodating to her needs as well as my father's needs when we visited. Everyone there seemed friendly, knowledgeable and were truly interested in getting my mom back on her feet and out of the facility as soon as she could. I knew a big concern is that these rehab places may want to keep patients for longer stays to get more money. But not this place. While mom didn't love the look of the place, she did like the people. That's what really counts in my book.

I had double knee replacement in October 2017. I found the people did an excellent job caring for me and literally getting me back on my feet. They didn't coddle me, but they also didn't push me too far. I was impressed at the way the therapists focused completely on the patient they were working with, no favorites played, no distractions. I was primary caregiver for my late wife for several years before she passed away. I realize just how difficult it is so perhaps that colors my perceptions, but I was very happy with my experience. It's been 3 months, and I'm already walking without even a cane to assist me, even on paths and rough ground, so obviously they did their job right!

I found the staff extremely responsive, willing to work with me when I made suggestions in re my care. The P.T. staff was highly professional, caring, responsive, friendly, and supportive. The rest of the staff, from the nurses right down to the folks that came in to clean the room, were friendly, competent, aware/alert, and I felt very comfortable with everyone involved. The building needs renovation, no doubt about that. But when it comes to the actual staff, I cannot fault a single person or action.
