I had a left lower leg amputation and was sent here for 2 weeks of additional rehab and skilled nursing. During my time there the facility was very clean, the employees were very attentive and caring! Shout out to all the nurses and CNA’s Renee and Mrs.B who were wonderful! The food was great, the oatmeal was fantastic! I met several residents who now have a place in my heart. The DON even took time to visit with me to make sure I was being taken care of. The therapists were amazing! If I ever need rehab again I know where to go even if it’s a distance from my home. Yes maybe the beds are from the 70’s but they were very comfortable! Thank you for caring for me!!

The staff here is wonderful. There are only a few CNA’s that I don’t get along with. The therapy staff is also excellent. You don’t have to wait long when you ring you call button. The staff is pretty prompt . I have been in several facilities and this one serves the best food. I would highly recommend TLCEast to anyone who needs skilled nursing care.

Latasha up front has been very helpful getting my loved ones on Medicaid. Everybody in the facility gets out of bed every day. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly.

My wife has been in the memory care unit for about thirteen months now. The staff is very caring and professional. Every time I visit my wife, the staff is always friendly and helpful. They take time to visit with me and tell me how she is doing and if she needs anything. They also call to inform me of any health concerns and prescription changes . I’m very happy that I chose TLC East to take care of my wife.

TLC East has a very caring & personable staff who knows their residents by name as well as family members. My mom adjusted very quickly, as they treated her according to knowledge. My Father in law stayed here for a 21 day rehab and we could not have been more pleased with the care he received. Staff was attentive and helpful, he has stayed at 2 other facilities for short rehab stays and he was not pleased, however he has told me that he would gladly go back to TLC East for a short OR a long term stay and that the food was excellent. Thanks so much.

I want to thank all at TLC East for having my Mom finish her care at their facility. It's been a long process for everyone to care for someone 24/7 daily. The reception area is very kind and all are patient. The business office worked hard to get the paperwork going for Mom from the beginning and continued to the end to keep her there under their care. I thank T. Cormier for this first process and Maxi for updates on anything I needed to know about how Mom was doing. K. Poole was there for her plan meetings and others were extremely helpful. Near the end, she was in hospice and Compassus worked along to help at TLC and everyone kept me up to date with everything; thanks to Melanie and K. Handley. I won't forget the phone call when told to bring Mom there and that was at the beginning of COVID-19 in 2020; I could not believe it! Thank you all !!

Mom has been here for two weeks. Admission was handled very well. Staff were welcoming and supportive. Still in the adjustment stage but all is going ok.

This is the best place in temple to take your loved one. They update everything every week or day if needed sent home with all information, medication . Explain everything send the referrals needed . Really helps you especially when you're love one return home ’“

Went to visit a good man whom lives at TLC, they have the best AC unit around and the nicest staff, they get your love ones ready when you call before you come. You don’t have to wait. They take good care of your love ones. So if you have a question just ask.

The quality of care and the staff are great! You can tell the caregivers from nursing to therapy to housekeeping and kitchen really aim to serve. Also the activities keep the residents busy with fun and creative events. Great job TLC East!

My brother has received exceptional care, never having had a pressure wound over the six years he’s lived here. That’s quite an accomplishment since he requires total assistance, but the long-serving, dedicated and devoted staff make sure all his needs are met on a daily basis, despite any challenges they face. They are awesome!

Our mother (96 years old) has been a resident for many years. Her care has been good all these years. Home is well kept and clean. The personnel are friendly and seem to care for the residents.

So many great things I can say regarding care, staff, and even the facility. My wife even now is a patient in TLC East; but was a rehab patient there the year 2012, 2015. The year 2012, I almost lost my wife. She went from facility to facility, seven totally, stopping at TLC EAST, Temple Texas. The nursing staff, the CNAS, the finance department, food service, custodians, every position skillfully functions with pride, integrity, and competence. TLC East operates as a whole team, not fragmented, but as a family. TLC East, the D.O.N. made sure that I was included in decision making of my wife’s treatment plan. The DON’s integrity along with her knowledge, wisdom, competence and skills were easily discerned as she voiced concerns in regards toward my welfare. It was at TLC East that my wife was able to accomplish her goals. The years 2012 & 2015 my wife came In on a stretcher but walked out the doors using a walker. We had no second thoughts this 3rd time on a facility for help needed again that it would be TLC East. From past experiences with this facility, I’m able to have a level of trust and confidence in TLC East that’s my wife, with respect, will be well taken care of and that she will be provided the help needed to strive toward accomplishing her goals. I highly recommend the TLC East, Temple Texas to anyone that has high expectations of a skill nursing rehab facility.
