My brother was sent there for rehab and had developed pneumonia which they said he did not have. We insisted he go to Ellis Hospital and sure enough he had full blown pneumonia. Fecal matter stuck to his back and buttocks area. We were there every day and that did not matter. Nursing care and aides there were overworked and underpaid. He did get terrible care there and it was filthy. They did have a really good Rehab Team. That is the only good thing I can say about the place.

The staff at the grand especially nurse Caylan was absolutely wonderful to my grandfather at the end of his life. The therapist Dan and Amanda the night supervisor were advocates for him and ensured comfort for him. Thank you to Mario and all the staff not mentioned that cared for him. The level of care provided by this facility was exceptional. They were incredibly supportive to our family during this difficult time in our lives.

I used to work at this facility as an agency nurse years ago & have such fond memories of my time there. We had a solid staff of wonderful nurses. The patients were lovely too. I would send a family member there if I had to.

My mother was in this facility for 2 months. I visited her almost every day. The staff was genuinely nice and considerate. I really appreciated how she was cared for. I love their slogan. "Get better, go home!" If you have someone you love. Please care for them the best you can. If you can't they become someone else's job. We were fortunate that mom wasn't just someone else's job!
