St Elizabeth healthcare and rehabilitation center was wonderful. My family was going out of town and we needed a place to send my father for respite care. They made us feel so comfortable and helped us figure out the planning (with the VA). My father enjoyed there. He actually perferred it to the VA where he usually stays. They were all very nice. I know we will definitely be using them in the future.

I volunteered here over the summer as a pre-pt student, and it was a great experience! All the staff were very friendly and open to answering any questions I had about the profession or PT school. The patients were also very friendly and I learned a lot by watching them each gain their strength back. If you are looking for somewhere to volunteer, I would 100% recommend St.Elizabeth as the spot to go!

Clean and spacious facility, the staff really cares for all the patients and makes sure all needs are met. The rehab team is supportive, professional, and very good at what they do; making sure patients are getting stronger with fun activities often planned out!

After my husband was there for almost a week I feel comfortable he was taken care of. I would suggest they leave the tv on for him during the day because he likes watching it. After checking in on him after a few days it was not on. I would also suggest they send him home with a clean shave and showered. I would take him back again.

Dear St. Elizabeth Skilled Nursing Facility Team, Having a staff that provides constant attention and genuine care is of the utmost importance to our family, especially given the challenges of rehabilitation for our 94-year-old mother, Aida. We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for the exceptional care she received at your facility in Fullerton. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Jay in Physical Therapy for his excellent attention to detail. His diligent tracking of the additional days required for her stay ensured she could safely transfer from her bed to a wheelchair with the assistance of only one CNA. When our mother arrived a month ago, she was unable to stand or walk, and her progress has been remarkable. We were also very impressed by the medical care meeting provided for our family. It was well-organized, with up-to-date lab work and clear documentation that allowed us to easily understand her medical progress. Additionally, social workers Elvie and Ana, along with Bianca, Alejandra, and Renee from administration, were outstanding resources. They kept our family consistently informed and made the discharge process seamless. Our special gratitude goes to the housekeeping team (Gloria and Julio), the CNAs (Mayra and Alma), and the nursing staff. They kept the facility immaculately clean and welcoming, while ensuring our mother was comfortable, cared for, and able to participate in daily activities. Finally, we want to thank the dining staff for providing nutritious, high-quality meals and for being so accommodating to her dietary preferences. St. Elizabeth felt like a safe, comfortable home away from home thanks to your friendly personnel. Thank you all for everything you do. Best regards, Patty Arana

The staff was always very helpful and kind. The facility was very clean. Lots of activities for the clients. My husband fell twice in one day and had to go to St Elizabeth’s. If he needed to go for rehab he would want to go there again. .

The care was exceptional with exception of day attendants or nursing staff in charge of restroom issues. For three days I observed delayed responses to restroom aide up to two hours. The night and crew of case workers and activities assistant were excellent they went out of their way to assist my mother with her care.

My stay at St Elizabeth was needed after several falls at home. I received wonderful care and much needed physical therapy. The pt team was fun as well as professional in their treatments. Elaine also challenged my brain in memory and recall..I had a wonderful roommate, so time went by very fast. I hope if I need care again I can return to St. Elizabeth. Kathleen Young

Really disappointed. Had lengthy discussion about loved ones care to discuss medication changes to improve quality of life- said they would make changes but no changes were actually made. Also specifically asked whether family member had pressure sores and they said no, but when we transferred to another care facility found to have a stage 2 pressure sore. Family member also lost weight over a month during stay because no one provided 1:1 assistance with feeding or noticed. Only family at bedside would assist with eating. Please be wary despite all the other glowing reviews.

St. Elizabeth took excellent care of my mother-in-law. She was even happy with the nurses and cna’s there, which isn’t easy. It is very clean. The only thing she complained about was the food. Sometimes it was good, but most the time she wasn’t happy with it.

St. E’s is a very nice skilled nursing facility. My husband suffered a massive stroke prior to his 100 day stay at SE’s. SE met the goal that we set at the beginning of our stay. The goal was to get him strong enough to meet stringent requirements to qualify for a more advanced therapy program at an acute rehabilitation facility. This was a tall task as my husband could not swallow, talk, & did not have use of his right limbs. By the end of his stay, he was accepted into an advanced therapy program thanks to the wonderful therapists Chris, Jay, Emily, Jessica, and Ashley the fabulous speech therapist. The nursing staff are kind, the notable nurses Magdalan who understood the stroke behaviors and struggles as well as Leslie, and Madeline. The many caring CNAs who saw my husband’s potential (Christine, Yolanda, Mida, and many others). The cleaning staff do a superb job, the place is very clean and bright. Emily the activities director is so kind and loving and provided fun activities that my husband thoroughly enjoyed. Even Rene the receptionist is wonderful to all the patients and family members. My husband grew very comfortable at SE. When it was time to leave SE, Chase the admissions director went above the call of duty in helping my husband transition to his new facility. My family is extremely grateful to all of the SE and to all the staff.

The people at St Elizabeth are wonderful to deal with. My mom has 2 stays there totaling 4 months, and I was able to engage with just about everyone there. If needed, we would undoubtedly return to St Elizabeth as we have gotten to know the entire staff well and can vouch for their quality of service.

My experience while at St. Elizabeth’s was excellent! The caring and compassion given by everyone was so reassuring. Two CNA’s that stand out are Ana and Sarah. They went above and beyond! All CNA’s were always there to attend to your every need! The Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists were absolutely phenomenal. There were a few that stood out and they were Jay, Chris, Pat and Emily. They were so encouraging and motivating wanting you to be successful. Chase and Dave were always making sure you were comfortable. Overall I highly recommend St. Elizabeth’s!

It was a very good place to rehab after my hip surgery. The one issue that I had they didn't address in my review was that I got covid positive they made me take just before I was being discharged. I have never had it before this. I stayed the 5 days isolation. They wanted me to stay the full 10 days, but I didn't want to be in isolation with another patient who was coughing and hacking with her illness[covid] right next to me in an extremely tiny room. That was my only issue and it was a big issue, so my daughter came to take me home. I've been well since being home. The PT staff and Med staff were very good in their jobs & they treated me very well & respectful. The food was kind of a hit & miss, but it very well might have been the physician who ordered wrong menu for ne, and then I heard that he left that facility suddenly and when I finally got the correct menu of regular food, it was excellent. I gave this facility 4 stars. The place was very well taken care of, was very clean. The PT therapists were Excellent and Carlo stood out. Then of the Med nurses were as well & Justin & Marco stood out in that area. Arlene was excellent, and always there when we called on her assistance and my only issue was that she wouldn't sign me out when I would not stay in the assigned room, for the reasons stated above. So, I actually had to leave AMA, amen that was not necessary for her to have a good mark on her job. Everyone there did try to be the best in their field. I'm thankful for a beautiful outside area to get since sun! The Halloween theme was fun and well designed to bring up everyone's spirits! No pun intended!

I recently finished my 8 week clinical rotation with St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The experience, knowledge, and skills I gained from them are priceless. I had the privilege to collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, and Nursing to help residents make outstanding progress with their rehabilitation goals. From my personal experience the rehab team is incredibly hard working, creative, motivating, and safe. Every therapist ensures that they are providing evidence based treatments for their patients and gets the family involved! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants their loved ones under the best care possible. As an OTA student I am beyond excited to know how amazing a skilled nursing facility can be. I will forever be great full for my time spent with St. Elizabeth. 5 stars across the board!

My mom received excellent care while at St. Elizabeth's. The staff is so kind and considerate and communication with family is amazing. I highly recommend this facility. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 are the televisions in the rooms. They are very antiquated and the screens are about 8" x 8". This definitely needs to be updated.

I experienced a great time of being at St. Elizabeth in patient & out patient doing rehab for my legs & strengthing & balancing since I was brought there from st.jude hosp. Because I was paralyzed my waist down for two months I worked hard with therapist doing p.t & o.t. to be able to walk again & get my strength back, I walk with walker & sometimes without holding on. Also have to use power chair for distance, I can't drive any more. I am fighting bone metastatic breast cancer, so it's terminal but doing treatments, I'm positive, I'm a Christian, need prayers, go to city of hope, I'm not giving up, I always am helping others, love life it self , enjoy doing things as I can , keep busy. But rest too. Thank so much therapists for what you have done for me when I was there, these people are great at what they do, always happy treat us with care, always asking us if we want water which is the kindest offer since we work out so hard. I love everyone in that therapy room that worked with me & who didn't maybe someday I will. I know you will be great too . Thank you nurses staff & dr.woo for everything you have done to the best you can. Activity your awesome of getting some activities going, I like your being happy & outgoing. Kitchen your food was mostly good. Way to go team!!!!!!!™‘

My entire family is so appreciative of the staff, Nurses, Nurses Assistants, PTs, OTs, and administrative team for helping our mother with her recovery after a fall and fractures to her hip and femur. This was in addition to her already bad knees. When a loved one is hurt and in need of ongoing medical attention and support, it is always difficult for family to navigate and ensure they have the best care. We are so thankful we found St Elizabeth. They helped us every step of the way and they helped my mom heal and get back on her feet in a matter of weeks. What made the experience so positive was their attention to detail, attentiveness, care and kindness towards her and her family during our visits throughout her stay. Thank you St Elizabeth!!!Forever thankful for your kindness and grace!

My father has been there for over a year now. His care has been great and the staff definitely treats him well. Cognitively he is very with it and he expresses how nice the staff is to him. Medically they do a great job as well. They arrange transportation to all his necessary appointments and will accompany him when necessary. He has required a few hospitalizations and their staff was quick to recognize this need Being in the medical field myself, I’ve seen a lot of nursing homes. There is nothing ever sexy about a nursing home so many people are disappointed by their first impressions. I value a nursing home by its staff and it’s care so for this I give them a 5 star. Pros Staff and their attention to the patients Physical therapy Food (except for the hot dogs and sloppy joes) Cable tv Cons Shared rooms No movie channels Limited outdoor time

I came to visit St. Elizabeth's after having spinal cord surgery. I was afraid and didn't know what to expect. Being put in an old folks home at 41 was not my idea of a good time. But the staff was so kind and personable that I felt very much at ease quickly. The nursing staff1, physical therapy, and even the kitchen staff were awesome. I was always treated with kindness and respect. I am a fairly independent 41 year woman. With the other, older patients with dementia; I never saw a single instance of an employee being anything but wonderful to patients no matter who was around or not. Patients needing full time care were clean and well cared for. I would feel comfortable leaving my Mom hereby. They are wonderful. Especially nurse Elvi, Teresa, Mongola, and Alma, Gloria, Ashton and Mark just to name a few, are all amazing. Highly recommend.
