Absolutely FABULOUS Nursing Home. The staff is highly motivated to provide heartfelt care to all the residents. Many are Veterans themselves. Previously I had my Dad in a private nursing home for 3 months prior to coming to this facility. It was night and day. I love, love, love DTJ State Veterans' Nursing Home! I rate them as across the board - a 10 out of 10. The reception staff, nursing staff, housekeeping and food services folks are tremendous. Continued Thanks to all of them for the tremendous care of my Dad.

I spent almost three weeks visiting my brother in law, and found this to be one of the finest veterans home in the country. The staff I would say are second to none, they care about each one of the veterans. The staff shows a kindness that can't be measured it can only be viewed. I thank each and every staff member that I had a chance to meet.

So pleased with the care, my husband gets at Douglas T Jacobson nursing home. It’s clean the staff is wonderful and very caring been in other nursing homes and none can compare to this one. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

I think your reaction to the staff after hurricane Ian should have been thank you for stepping outside your comfort zone to make sure our residents We’re cared for instead of admonishing them for not sticking to their designated roles. Shame on the administration. I am truly disappointed

My great grandfather is currently residing here. It's really good seeing him when we are in the area. I wish he was able to get out more but I understand that the staff is very busy with other patients. The place gave off a very comfortable feel and my grandfather said he really enjoys it there.

This is a very special place. The veterans are cared for with all the dignity they deserve. The staff is wonderful. The facility is donned with all the residents military pictures and accomplishments.

Father had passed away & he was a veteran. Our mother finally went through his things & we dropped a lot of clothes & other things to them. Hope they make good use of them.

I was finally was able to visit my grandma after five years of her being in this location. I wasn't sure what to expect, however I left my visit with such joy. This is the cleanest, nicest location, with some of the most compassionate staff. I left Florida so thankful ™

Toured the facility with a friendly staff member. Clean. Residents seemed content. They should find a replacement receptionist though. She was unwilling to call for a staff member to show us around.
