Recently, my 95yr old client needed to be moved to a long-term care facility. I was skeptical at first, but now I am extremely pleased with their service and their kindness in which they take care of her. It took her a minute or two to figure out the new schedule and how to respond to the shift change. I actually would wake up in the middle of the night worrying about her. But now she is happy, it is easy to go see her and visit with her and know that she is well taken care of. She loves the food and the staff and if you need a long-term care facility, I would totally recommend Cibilo Creek health and rehab center. Thank You to EVERYONE working there!!! CJ

My aunt chose this facility after she had a fall and needed a full hip replacement. I could not believe how fast she was up and moving around again. Part of it is her internal drive coupled with her inability to sit still but I have to Cibolo Creek credit for their care and physical therapy. When I visited her, I was impressed with the garden and beautiful outdoor sitting area they have. My aunt is very much an outdoor person and this was great for her. There was one hiccup with her dentures. They were on her tray and were inadvertently taken to the trash. (It’s a very common mistake, dentures and hearing aids often get accidentally discarded). Probably common with AirPods too these days as well! Lol I emailed them and they responded within 5 minutes of my email, apologizing and ensuring me they will pay a dentist to get her new ones and said they would be calling me. They called me within 10 minutes! I told Brady during the phone call I had just started a new job, so I wasn’t sure when I’d get her to the dentist..by the time the call ended, he was congratulating me on my new job before we hung up. A true Texan, this is why I love folks in Boerne, they are so hospitable! It’s hard to find good people these days. Faith in humanity has been restored! Thank you Marjorie and Brady!!!

My journey with Cibolo Creek started in April 2021 when my Dad fell and broke his foot. It was during Covid so restrictions were everywhere. After Dad's surgury (age 95) he was told no weight on that foot for 10 weeks! I was devastated about having to leave him somewhere. I called The Center in Boerne and spoke to the director, Olivia Burdick. She immediately said Cibolo Creek is where she would strongly recommend. I thought he would move back home with me after the 10 weeks but he said he liked it there and he felt it was the better option. He said if he came home with me I would need help to care for him and he was very well taken care of there. I was able to visit him daily and he had found his new home. He loved a schedule so he went down to the rehabilitation gym every morning after breakfast and they helped him get set up on the bicycle...even if he wasn't on PT. That's the way they roll! The activities director, Linda Lee was challenged with Covid restrictions but she did everything allowed to let the residents socialize. She had live music several times a week. Dominos was started due to a request from Dad. They played bingo and he was even on the resident council. It was his home and he enjoyed his time there. He passed in January of 2023 and my husband and I were there with him. He had just had a bad morning so they called me to give me a heads up. The nurses and every member of the staff treated him and us as family. At the time of my Dad's passing my Mother in law was also a resident at Cibolo Creek. She was also well cared for and enjoyed the extra attention. My Mother In Law and Father In Law have both been patients there over the past 4 years. My Mother In Law is currently a resident there for long term care. Her husband passed away there in August and they got her set up with grief counciling and took extra time with her to help her adjust to life without him. We even had my Father In Law's celebration on life there in the dining room in August 2024. The staff moved all of the tables around and had it set up with table cloths and helped make it all run smoothly. I've recommended Cibolo Creek to numerous friends for their loved ones and all have been very pleased with the care they received. I've never been in there when the place wasn't clean. I never smelled anything and I know that's rare for a nursing home but they're on top of it. Marjorie, Taylor, Karen, Linda Lee, Keela.....the list goes on and on with the staff that have moved mountains to make life better for our loved ones. I'll continue to highly recommend Cibolo Creek Health and Rehabilitation to anyone in need of their services. 5/5/2025: Cibolo Creek came through again to help one of my neighbors last night. My friend and I took dinner to them and walked in on my friend needing to go to ER but she couldn’t leave her 91 year old Momma at home. I contacted Marjorie at Cibolo Creek and she made it happen in less than an hour transport was there to take her Momma to Cibolo Creek for respite care. I can’t say enough about how Cibolo Creek staff truly cares about their residents 5/6/2025: I was visiting Cibolo Creek today and one of the residents told me she donates her bingo winnings at church. She said it gives her a chance to tithe when she wouldn’t be able to otherwise. Linda Lee is the activities director at Cibolo Creek and she goes above and beyond to make the life of the residents fulfilling. Just one more of many stars that shine at that facility!

My Dad has been here since 4/1/2021 and could not be happier with his experience. Everyone goes out of their way to do all they can to improve his daily life and get him stronger. The activities are the best too!! They have added dominos for him to the daily options because he loves it. They have also added live music twice a week!! I don't know if he will want to come home when he is able because I can't compete with them! 5/5/2025: My Mother has been at Cibolo Creek since March 2024 and she is very well cared for and loved. We are so grateful for the care she receives and know she’s in the best of hands. We love that we can visit her and leave the nursing care to Cibolo creek.

We had an awesome experience with the facility and my elderly mother. Teronda was our intial point of contact and was absolutely amazing at her job and helped us through the process and continued to be available throughout mom's stay. Kudos to her. Brittany, one of her nurses, provided a level of interest and care that was second to none. She was always available for updates and knew everything that was going on with mom. Last, but not least, Angie who worked the weekend days with mom was incredible and provided such upbeat, positive interactions with mom that really seemed to improve her mood, and certainly ours as well. I do t usually write reviews but I had to give Cibolo creek rehab in Boerne, Tx a shout out for their amazing facility. From the cleanliness of the facility to the friendly and caring staff, the food, the whole experience is an A+ experience. I am from Houston and have experience with other skilled nursing facilities which have been one nightmare after another. I was in Cibolo Creek for two weeks in 2021 after knee surgery. My care was great. Back again in 2022 after another knee surgery replacement. Care was good and therapy with Kim and Vanessa was great. Staff was always concerned about my care. In 2024 returned again with my husband who was cared for after leg amputation. His care and therapy was great and he loved playing dominoes, bingo and attending the music presentations that were offered. His nurses were very attentive. We both were very pleased with our care!

My sister is a resident at Cibolo Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center. The staff is friendly, considerate and professional. They are very supportive and patient with her and they encourage her to get involved in the daily activities that are offered. My mother was in Cibolo Creek as a long term resident. She was there for over 10 years and I cannot say enough about the care my mom received. The staff was very sweet and concerned for my mom. I was always kept up to date on what treatments she had what medications she took. Unlike some reviews I read I did not smell urine all the time. Sure if someone was being changed and I happened to walk by. But I rarely smelled anything. That stuff happens anywhere. My mother’s room was always clean my mom was always clean her hair was washed and brushed. Linda Lee the activity director was exceptional in keeping up with the activities for the residents. They were always doing something. She was great in getting my mom up and out to play chicken foot dominoes, music, bingo and holiday activities. Physical therapy was great too helping to get my mom in and out of a car when I took her out. The nurses were awesome in her care as well. Always communicating with me about her care since I lived in Florida. I had considered moving my mother out to another facility near me in Florida and decided against it because I felt her care at Cibolo Creek was the best I had found. I have a friend who would drop in for a visits and the facility was always clean as well. I will be forever grateful to the Cibolo staff for taking such great care of my mom.

My dad stayed here for 2 months of rehab after a serious stroke. Although it’s not a perfect place and is short staffed at times, we felt my dad was cared for and they were always helpful and attentive if we had a concern. We are thankful for the kind people there.

My father has been here a little over a year. The facility has its ups and downs. The activity director is very energetic. Dr Neil is great. My biggest concern at this time is the lack of access to drinking water in his room. After repeated failed attempts, i have had to request a prescription for water from the doctor in hopes he will have water by his bedside. Carolyn Petro

Don’t expect good communication unless you call a care plan meeting yourself. After two weeks in rehab, with zero communication from a doctor, the therapy team or the insurance department I called my own . Please know you have to be in charge and a strong advocate for loved ones. Don’t expect anybody that can help you to work on the weekends or return your calls in a timely manner. Two stars go to the suite CNA’s that seem to be the nicest. They are not always quick to respond to the call button, but I’ve met several of them that actually do seem to care and they earned the stars.

My mom has had amazing care in this facility--the admin, her dietician, physical therapists, nurses, nurse assistants have all given personal attention and built relationships and friendships with her! She has received such care and encouragement during her time here. Her health and strength have improved tremendously in the 3 months she has gotten to be here! We have witnessed throughout the days, nights, weekend shifts knowledgeable, caring, personal care by all the staff. The staff has been consistent checking in with my mom throughout their shifts and before they leave their shifts, making sure she is changed, has what she needs. The admin have always been willing and available to help with questions and concerns since this is our first time thru this process! We only wish we would have known this care months before when we first went into other care facilities that did not offer this caliber of care and knowledge and help! Cibolo Creek Nursing Facility staff have become like family! We will want to stay in contact with the friendships we have made!

I wish I could do more then one review so that way clients can see how they changed when I was there the first time the staff wasn't friendly at all they were rude and immature. I have been back less then 2 weeks already and loving the new staff, they are on top of everything they take the time to care for there clients as well as there caregivers. The nursing home is very clean the dietery staff are wonderful. Beautiful place whoever designed that place took there time. I just wish they could add microwave in the room for visitors or family members who bring there own food. Also wish we could say who we like and put a wonderful note and hopefully they get a raise.
