I recently toured Tower Lodge Care Center while looking for a place for my grandfather who has dementia. The staff were kind, patient, and clearly experienced with memory care residents. The facility was clean and felt comfortable and welcoming rather than overly clinical. Residents seemed genuinely happy, engaged, and well cared for, which stood out to us. We saw staff interacting warmly and respectfully with everyone. It gave our family a strong sense of reassurance during a tough decision. This is definitely a place we feel good about considering

My mom has been at Tower Lodge for over three years. She has found her comfort place and is happy here. All of the staff is very caring and attentive. She enjoys all of the activies especially bingo,Sunday mass and many different entertainers who come and bring joy to the residents.

A very beautiful, clean, and warm place to visit my mother. The entry and exit is super easy and the staff is very attentive and kind. Linda, one of my mother’s RNs, gave me an update about my mother’s health and shared some fun stories about my mother, since my last visit. If your family needs help with a loved one or you haven’t visited in a while, just visit anytime: It’s a great place with great residents and staff.

We enjoyed bringing our therapy dogs to Tower Lodge today. The residents were anxiously waiting in the community room and their spirits were high because it was Pirates Day! Today, my brother-in-law was out of bed & in a wheelchair for the first time in a very long time. He had a haircut, and was shaved. His room was being aired out, & his sheets changed. We were very appreciative. Thank you.

I can't say enough good things about Tower Lodge. The staff is super-attentive, and the patient-to-caregiver ratio is so much better than the other long-term-care facilities my wife and I visited. The facility itself is definitely not as glitzy as the other LTCs that we saw, but we were not looking to put Mom into the "Ritz". Our number one concern was Mom's care, and it was obvious to us early on that the best actual care she would receive would be at Tower Lodge. From Jill the Admissions Director to Melissa the Director of Social Services to all the nurses and staff, the entire experience was really pleasant for Mom and me. I was contacted many times by the staff, alerting me to any of my mom's needs (mentally or physically) and any changes in medication or physical issues that arose. They really were the next best thing to having Mom here at home with me. I lost Mom a month ago, but I'm so relieved that the nurses and staff made Mom's final days comfortable and pain-free. It's obviously an extremely tough decision to put a loved one into long-term-care, but the caring people at Tower Lodge made me feel assured that I made the right one.

My Mom has been in the facility for a year now and she seems happy and well taken care of. Jacob was the administrator and he was very open to any suggestions to improve the care. Miss him. The new administrator also seems attentive to my Mom’s needs. The caregivers were trying their best to help the residents and are doing a good job. All and all we have been very pleased with Mom’s care.

I was very impressed at how the facility and grounds were so well-maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff, and they are most vigilant in adhering to COVID safety guidelines. I want to start off by saying that one of the most difficult chapters of my father’s life was admitting to himself that his mother (my grandmother) had to be transferred to a nursing home. He was taking care of her for over 10 years with the assistance of a caretaker 24/7 and watching her regress took a toll. My grandmother has now been at the Tower Lodge Care Center for the last 3 months and seems to be very happy. Needless to say, every facility has its ups and downs, but Tower Lodge has provided a very positive experience for my grandmother, and is filled with a very caring staff who always has my grandmother’s best interest in mind. My father visits several times a week and always says the facility is clean too! He also had a very pleasant meeting with the facility director that he was very impressed by. We are also very pleased that they test for COVID 19 each and every time you visit the facility; it proves that the health and safety for our loved ones is their highest priority!

I love that everyone at Tower Lodge knows and cares for our mom. She is always happy to see the staff. She is always clean and her hair is brushed. She always has a hair tie to match her outfit. More importantly, She always smells like lavender powder, which she loves. That’s theMom we know and love! Most importantly, we can hold her hands and kiss her cheek. It makes a big difference, because she knows we’re there with her, and that means a lot to Mom and us. Knowing Mom is safe and happy makes being apart a little easier. This is the third facility my Mom has been in. I could not be happier! They take such good care of her. The staff are so good! Everyone , nurses, aides, social worker, physical therapy & t creation. It is VERY clean. Such a nice friendly place . I highly recommend Tower Lodge. Oh almost forgot to say the receptionist! And last but not least Diane Resnick. Everyone is so helpful.

I was born and raised right around the corner" from Tower Lodge, in Shark River Hills. I'm living in Portland now and don't get there much, but wanted to give a shout out to Tower Lodge. My mother has been living at Tower Lodge for about 10 years now. My father lived at Jumping Brook Golf Course Villas very near by as well. We couldn't have had a better situation as horrible as having to be placing Mom in a home is and as awful as Alzheimer's is, Tower Lodge as well as our family lawyers at John Callinan's Estate Law Office, guided my father and now continue to guide me through my mother's stay at Tower Lodge. It may not look fancy, but it recently got an interior update I heard is wonderful!!! The staff from Admin to the aides have been stellar. The aides became my mother's only source of JOY making her laugh and dressing her in the ways she was accustomed and helped my father keep her stocked with all her favorite "goodies" and other items. The people at Tower Lodge are so warm and treated my father and I and my entire extended family as one of their own. As weird as it may sound, it is always good seeing my Mom even as her health worsens, Tower Lodge holds her close. My heart goes out to the people who work in this field, it's hard on many levels. Good luck to each and every one of you that may have to make a decision like this for your loved one.
