Belaire has been a wonderful rehab for many years in my family . Starting with Dad-3x , Mom-2x, mother-in-law-1x! The experience is always positive starting with Roseann-the director of admissions and Marie -the admission coordinator - both wonderful and friendly people . The staff - nurses - PT’s and Dr. Ege are all kind and do their job very well ! The receptionist always welcomes you as well ! I would highly recommend Belaire for rehab . The facility is very clean and the new lighting is bright and looks great !

An absolute amazing experience...the management and staff are all capable and treat the patients as family members. I had a great experience during my stay at Belair. Everyone on the medical staff from the PA's to the RN's were attentive and professional (Pat, Victor, Renee, Russell and more). I was visited by a PA daily; keeping up with my progress and concerns. The CNA's strive to make patients as comfortable as possible. The PT and OT team (Cindy, Danielle, Dina), worked on my challenges and made it enjoyable to be in the gym. I will always recommend Belair to anyone needing care for themselves or their loved ones.

My mom needed short term rehab after a month of hospital stay. I decided to check out Belaire and very happy I did. From the director, Roseann to the front door reception; everyone is so helpful, treat you like family , and professional. All the nurses, CNA’s , PT, OT, social workers, entertainment staff- can’t say enough about them. The care and love my mom has received from Belaire is beyond outstanding. The facility is very clean, decorated for the holidays, many rooms the families can spend time visiting with their loved ones. The food is not that bad neither which is unusual for rehabs.Your mind will be at ease that your loved one is safe and being taken cared of. I recommend this facility 110 percent and would not take my parents anywhere else but Belaire if needed in the future . Thank you Belaire for a great experience!

Both of my elderly parents have been residents at Belair going back several years. My dad was a rehab patient a few times b4 he passed and my mom is currently a long term resident. I really can’t say enough positive things about the facility and the care team(s). The aides, the nurses and, PA’s are top notch as is the PT/OT team. The recreation staff always have activities on offer to engage the residents. Are they perfect? Close, but no facility can be 100% of the time. However, on the rare occasion that there is an issue, one call to the head nurse or the administrator of the facility and the issue gets resolved promptly. This is immensely important to me and to my mom and helps me sleep much better knowing she's in really good hands.

After my mother’s fall, we were incredibly fortunate to have her placed in the care of Belair Rehab. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed and supported—thanks in large part to Roseanne in Administration. Her bright and cheery presence, along with her constant check-ins, gave us so much reassurance. We are deeply grateful to the exceptional team that care for her day in and day out. Rosie, the PA, along with nurses and staff members Jennifer, Rene, Anna, Susan, Payal, and Marjorie, worked through every setback to help her regain her strength and health. A special thanks also goes to the incredible medication nurses—Shari, Anita, Laquisha, and Nicole—and the aides who are truly angels: Rose, Elsie, Henrietta, Teeja, and Colleen. The dedication, compassion, and strength they show every day are nothing short of extraordinary. The Physical Therapy department is also playing a huge role in her recovery. Angela, the PT supervisor, made sure my mother was paired with the right therapists, and Joseph and Meredith are not only skilled but make therapy sessions enjoyable and encouraging. Their genuine care for her well-being and progress is incredible. Through this challenging time, we are blessed to encounter such a wonderful, caring group of professionals. The Admins are gracious and accommodating .. the PT/OT is excellent and the Social Director is wonderful BUT there is not enough staff to take care of the patients..The CNAs. are stretched to the max..they have 10 patients..many of whom require assistance..and they cant always get to the needy patients in a timely manor...and to make it worse they have to stop what they are doing to serve food and pour coffee leaving some patients in need of assistance...After11 pm there is only 1 CNA for 20 patients...many times the halls are empty...I was told these are the state guidelines ...they need to change these guidelines..

I can not say enough great things about Belair Rehab in Bellmore NY. My 89 year old mom fell and broke her arm & we knew we wanted her to go to Belair for Rehab. Roseanne in admissions was so kind, helpful & understanding. She was a voice of comfort & knowledge. She worked tirelessly with us to get mom a bed. Oh boy are we glad! Thank you Roseanne. The facility is lovely, homey & clean. There are wonderful areas to get out of your room & relax. I have to mention the fabulous staff Mom's nurses Anna, Rosie, Shari & Suja & also her PT team. My Mother-in-law spent almost two months at the Belair. I was very pleased with the care she received. Everyone was always professional, kind and always upbeat. The therapists were wonderful. She received physical, occupational and speech therapy. The nurses and aides were attentive and kind to her. The nurse practitioner Rosie was amazing , she was there every day and was so thorough and always answered all of my questions. Mom is legally blind and has dementia so I was there for all meals to feed her. If I could not be there for a shift I told the lovely aides and they told me not to worry they will feed her. The place is spotless and the cleaning staff is always around. My son works with many nursing homes and he was very impressed by all he saw here. He took photos of the facility to show his employer. We are so grateful to everyone at the Belair, they made a very difficult time much easier for us.

I greatly appreciate the care my mom received during her stay at Bel Air rehab center. The staff was supportive, compassionate, and attentive to her needs. She was in severe pain and was not mobile. Through pain management and physical therapy/occupational therapy she was able to return to her home and continue to live an independent lifestyle at 86 years old. I have always been on the other side of the table, working as an OT in the rehabilitation field for many years. It was a hard decision to make when I had to find a place for my mom to discharge when I have heard so many negative comments by patients I worked with and what kind of things I have seen myself. I am glad I made the right decision. The nursing staff was wonderful. They took care of my mom’s needs and were always around when she needed help. The rehabilitation was awesome. Dina and Joe took great care of my mom, giving her the needed exercise and education, making sure she can go home safely and independent. Whatever you decide, make sure you visit daily, be present and prepared to occasionally bring snacks and food.

We have used Belair many times for my elderly mother. She has Parkinsons and Alzhiemers. She is prone to falling. The Staff is Amazing, and the PT is great. There is an Aide named Elise who is hands down the most caring, kindest and loving soul They are all wonderful! I highly recommend them. If you know you are having a procedure, you should pre book at least 2 weeks out. They are in high demand. There is a reason! Everyone wants to go there!

I stayed at BelAir for 19 days for a broken hip. I came in on a stretcher and left with a walker. The staff are friendly and encouraging. Nurses are great. Nurses Aides tended to my every need and I made some in center friends too! The physical and occupational therapists are the best! My team was Aknu, Joe & Bri - hard working, attentive, funny and driven. When you think you can’t do an exercise, they stand by you and ask you to try. Next thing you know, you’re doing the task. I can’t sing enough praises for the entire therapy dept. they are so attentive and caring. From entering the BelAir and meeting Rosanne (I think she’s a Faith Hill look alike) , Maureen, nurse Joanne, aides Simone, Kiana, Marjorie, Nicole, my therapy team, and everyone else, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me get back on my feet! We had a fantastic experience here at Belair. My mother in law was taking care of and we couldn’t be happier with the amount of care she received. The facility was extreme clean and all the staff were amazing!
