My mother moved into her apartment a year ago. Things ran smoothly for a while, but took a turn about five months in. I understand transitions with staff and issues that are out of someone’s control, but this post is regarding lack of consistency and understanding of what’s going on. I helped my mother place her maintenance request through the app around 7:50ish AM EST, today 4/2/25. I also called the rent office to leave a voicemail, but noted the phone number for maintenance issues - again. Upon calling the number, the voice message states you will not receive a call back for your maintenance issue if you aren’t a resident of another complex (clearly not the name of her complex). This is not the first time I’ve had to call this maintenance number and leave my mother’s apartment number and my call back number. To which no response is given. As of 11:27am, no one has entered the rental office in her building as my mothers aide has repeatedly gone to the rental office to check nor maintenance. 4/9/25 Update: Although no interaction was made, the issue inside the apartment was resolved. As well, I was expecting to hear the voicemail, but was pleasantly surprised when I called the rental office to ask an important question regarding changes made to how people can enter the building when the phone was answered immediately. My question was addressed professionally and I left the interaction feeling comfortable with the changes. 4/10/25 the intercom still needs work. My mother’s aide was not able to enter the building using the system. Could only hear a buzzing noise after entering # code 4/16/25 The intercom is fixed. My mother can now receive her medication deliveries etc again. My only concern is the inability to use the kitchen sink. The plumber is expected to be there this afternoon. Although my mother has requested multiple times to have the office manager call me as she has memory loss to explain what she stated to her, she said she doesn’t need to. 4/16/25 The sink is fixed!! Scott was an amazing plumber pleasant and professional. Although I didn’t get an opportunity to talk to the office manager (I’m a people person) I’m glad she was able to follow through with scheduling the plumber.

There is no planned activities for seniors here. There has been a lack of elevator access in the last few months. There is no security patrol. The rear entry door is difficult to access entry with wheel chairs and grocery carts. There is only one elevator and it's broke and inoperable most of the time. Imoble residence are not placed on 1st and second floor to assure access to and from the building. Right now those residents are falsely imprisoned due to the broken elevator.
