Mother-in-law about to move out to live elsewhere. Overall not a bad place, she has had plenty of social activities and access to necessities. However, the building is older so there were problems especially with plumbing and the things it brings with it. Her kitchen sink never did shut off completely, and some repairs took months to complete. We felt she was safe which was most important.

I have lived here since January of 2022. The staff has been great to work with. Maintenance issues are addressed in a very timely manner. The location is great with easy access to shopping, etc. The community of residents is wonderful. The activities we have on site are fun. Great place to live!

They say that a house is a place, but home is a feeling. At Berkshire you will find a "home:" friendly, kind, good natured residents, helpful, caring and compassionate staff, enjoyable weekly activities, and a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. From the moment you enter the front door you just KNOW you have found someplace special. There may be several apartment complexes in Waukesha to choose from, but few offer their tenants a chance to become family. Berkshire IS family. Call it "home." BTW: ignore "Tracey' and 'Sandra'. I have lived here for 3 years. I have enjoyed every minute of the time that I have lived here. There are a lot of activities to do here. The people are very friendly and I have made lots of friends here. When there is a problem it is addressed right away. I would highly recommend Berkshire at Kensington to anybody who asks me.

I went in for a showing at Kensington and had such a good experience. Manager Kate and Kim were super friendly, attentive, and really helpful the whole time. They answered all my questions and made everything easy to understand. Honestly, they made the place feel really welcoming, and it left me with a great first impression.

First thing is the smell...musty. and VERY hot. Was visiting a friend and nearly passed out. Looks decent but the apartments are so tiny and claustrophobic! Lots of meeting spaces and a kitchen but still....would never live there, and I'll be a senior next year! Try Berkshire on Sunset instead.

I’ve lived here for eight years. I’m happy were I am. My family is close by and visits often. I enjoy the people here and there is lots of activities you can play. You can socialize and meet people. There is a pergola out back to grill and sit around enjoying the outdoors. You can also reserve to have parties at pergola and indoor dining room. There a guest suite if you have someone coming to visit. It’s a very nice place and quiet.
