The Heritage in Appleton is a wonderful place for Seniors to live and thrive in a supportive & welcoming community Since my Mom started her journey here, both residents & staff have been warm & welcoming, making her feel at home. There's a good vibe in this beautiful place nestled in a peaceful, wooded area of the thriving Fox Cities. Lots of activities & camaraderie ~ I'm excited for my mother to begin the next chapter of her life here

The heritage is definitely one of the best facilities in the Fox valley. From the moment I walked in the front door I knew this was a place for me. The staff are great and I love that they have multiple RN's on staff. The food is great, I love the coffee shop and that I can order what I like. The convince store is really nice and helpful. Overall I couldn't rate less than 5 stars

Last week my father passed after spending three years at Heartwood Homes. It was during those last few difficult days that I was once again reminded how the staff and residents had become family. The staff not only took outstanding care of my dad but also showed great love and care for my entire family. We laughed together, hugged together and cried together. Because Heartwood Homes is a smaller facility the staff knew and understood every aspect of my dads personality, quirks, strengths and weaknesses. He was treated with dignity , respect and was loved. I remember how difficult it was to move my father from his home. I was filled with doubt, guilt, fear and concern . I can honestly say that Heartwood Homes was the very best decision we could have made, my dads last years were enhanced because of the owners and employees of Heartwood Homes .

Just placed my mother there, and the facility/her room are very clean and spacious. Many activities for the people to do, they also provide church services and shuttle buses to go grocery shopping etc. Medical care and the reception counter are first rate. Like others have stated the cafeteria is lacking a bit, but the rooms have small kitchens so you can make your own dinners if you're up to it.

Very nice facility, spacious rooms, attentive staff, and many weekly activities. My mom was living alone in a condo and we moved her to The Heritage. She is meeting people, engaged in activities, eating better, and overall much happier.

My father moved there a few months ago and we're generally happy with the facility and healthcare staff. The one disappointment is the institutional quality of food: My father complains that there is little variety, and way too often the meals are chicken or turkey. He likes fruit, and some days none is provided.
