Having lived at Hawthorne Terrace for 24.5yrs I can say with assurance it's one of the best apartment complexes around! Management is extremely responsive and considerate, amenities are fantastic and the central/convenient location combined with security... is second to none. I guess that's why Hawthorne attracts such great people!

We just moved into our apartment and honestly we cannot speak highly of this apartment complex. The management and maintenance were so nice to us. The apartment we have is quiet and the residents are friendly. The amenities such as extra storage units and gym are top notch. Genuinely a great place to deal with and live in. No complaints at all.

I lived in here from 2017 to 2022. I highly recommend this apartment for its safety, quietness, cleanliness, and excellent management. Specifically, the managements not only care for the current tenant, they also watch for the former resident such as me. I had a package wrongfully delivered to the old apartment in March, which I did not find out until May. When I called them a few days ago, Jenny at the front desk was able to find it in the package room. They kept my package for 7 WEEKS! Jenny was kind and nice to dig out my package when I stopped by to pick up. I was really surprised and am grateful for their extra work to someone who is no longer their tenant.

Our kitchen sink got clogged on Saturday evening and someone came to fix it Sunday morning. Pipes and garbage disposal were replaced on Monday. This whole process was effortless and I appreciate how quickly it was all fixed.

The work we requested was done and he was very curtious and answered my questions. BUT we are still unable to connect our TV to the apartment house antenna. The apt above and below can but not ours. Someone must know how to fix this. Virginia Casp

This has been an amazing experience. This was our first time renting, and so my wife and I were a little nervous. Annie Sweet helped us by maintaining clear communication. She even made adjustments to our apartment prior to us moving in, and replaced the carpet to brand new ones. She showed us around and helped us feel at home. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised and now we feel at home.

Very pleased with the staffing - Brandie and Annie - at Hawthorne Terrace! They have been incredibly kind and supportive throughout my move and have cared a lot about making my experience simple and easy - which is greatly appreciated! My apartment had received new carpeting, new paint, and a new light fixture prior to me moving in - which was great! However, my only complaint was that the apartment itself seemed to not have been cleaned thoroughly - the carpets, windowsills, bathroom, and kitchen were all visibly dirty. When mentioned to the staff, they were very apologetic and offered further assistance! I foresee no further problems in the future and am looking forward to my year ahead at Hawthorne Terrace! Would defintiely recommend so far!

I have never experienced a more welcoming move-in! We were super impressed with the individual attention when it came to getting to know the apartment, the helpfulness of making the move as easy as possible, and the cute goody bag 🙂 such a friendly community already! I can't wait to live here.

My father lived the last year of his life at Hawthorne Terrace and I am deeply thankful for all the good memories we made there!!!! The apartment was an absolute steal at the price, plus the staff and ameneties exceded my expections by a wide margin. The movie theater, work out room, coffee bar, convenience store, library, game and banquets rooms created the perfect locale for my dad to make friends and really enjoy himself. We held both his 90th birthday party as well as his celebration of life in the banquet hall, and the staff could not have made the experience any better. Exceptional!!!!!!!

It's extremely quiet and safe. There are a lot of extra perks available! The gym equipment is a little outdated and the parking lot could use a good redo. Otherwise a great place to rent from.

My mother lives at Hawthorne Terrace . It has 1 and 2 bedroom apts. The apts are very nice and the grounds are beautifully landscaped.

This is excellent place to live. This appartment is very calm, clean, joyfull and having more amenities.While moving in this apartment i don't really know how its going to work out well with 6 month baby but the neighbhours are so kind and smile face when ever we saw them. They love my kid. My kid also have someone to talk every time we go out in the appartment.

It's been nothing short of an incredible experience. Absolutely the best accommodations and service I've ever seen in an apartment complex. You'll find a lovely atmosphere and first-rate staff that really care about their residents. The residents are wonderful and one can usually find conversation and great company.

After 42 years of maintaining our home in the city of Milwaukee, and in what was for many years a classic neighborhood of Stately stone houses, the homes of people like Herb Kohl and Bud Selig, we decded it was time. The boarded up foreclosed homes and vacant business and the absentee lanlords was the final straw. We now live in a former Middle school, in a wonderful apartment surronded by Parks and fields. The managment company is first class and the on-site managers are the best. We have everything we need onsite and in addition we are seconds away from the Medical Center of Wisconsin. Any of my friends who are in a similar situation, I encourage you to investigate Hawthorne Terrace.
