The most unprofessional disgusting place we have ever been to. Now that my family is out of there I can write my review and report to the state. My family was there for rehabilitation for a couple of weeks and I swear the staff did more gossiping about patient and their families or other nurses the patient never got care.This was highly inappropriate especially coming from a manager or someone in a higher ranking position. I believe her name was Rasha Thomas or Timmons, she was so rude and condescending to the family members and would brush off or not even show up to care conferences. Any time we would go to the office to try and speak with her she was never there. I wouldn’t send my dog there, especially if the ED had nothing good to say about it either. Patients definitely beware before sending family there.

My husband recently ended a 3 month stay here following complications from spinal surgery. There were a lot of ups and downs during those three months, but I would say that overall the experience here was not a good one. First, the positives: A majority of the staff here are absolutely amazing individuals that provide quality care. Specific shout outs (but there are so many) to Carol Sue, Robyn, Jenny, Francis, Ella, Lou, Evan, Marianne and Vikram for always going above and beyond. The PT/ OT staff were kind, attentive and innovative with assisting my husband with his movement. He made a lot of progress with them. Thank you Savannah and Kelly. Now, the negatives: The food is absolutely horrible. My husband has celiac disease, and he was frequently served gluten, despite speaking to kitchen staff multiple times. He even ended up eating some and vomiting profusely. Even when it was something he could eat, it was often overcooked or undercooked and flavorless. It’s clear that Evergreen Health Services is running this place on an absolute shoestring budget. They were constantly understaffed (especially evenings and weekends), the equipment is quite old, and the building had various maintenance issues (my favorite was my husband’s baseboard heater that was halfway off the wall protruding into his room). The management clearly has little care for their staff, as evidenced by their desire to change CNA schedules to an absolutely untenable 4 on-2 off (they backed down shortly before he left). Luckily, the staff are union, and I hope they can fight for better ratios and night/ weekend premiums so this place can actually be staffed. Examples of night and weekend understaffing include: a call light on for 4 hours, my husband being left on a bedpan for 3 hours, and my husband being left sitting in his own pee for 6 hours. I want to make it clear, this is not an individual staff issue. This is an institutional issue and a refusal to staff nights and weekends with adequate staff (or pay them well enough to make up for undesirable shifts). And it wasn’t just care staff. A sticky mess was left on his floor for 4 days! And the facility manager, a man by the name of Cosmo, only spoke to my husband to make him have our friend take her bad review down, and to investigate the 3 hours on a bed pan incident. Also, please hire another social worker. Erika and her assistant are run ragged. Overall, I would call this place borderline unsafe with poor staffing ratios, bad food, and corner cutting management (both onsite and Evergreen). Also it’s in Enumclaw, so I feel like that’s another huge strike against it unless you happen to already live there. But for me, a 2 hour round trip after work to see my husband was exhausting.

It us amazing to me, when an organization looses employees- person who orders supplies for patients ,that job has not been reassigned. Problem- my aunt has ostomy and has had it for almost 40 yrs and uses one of the original appliance. When she asks someone, to get her a box from the storage cabinet (they have been marked w her name in the past) NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE OR WANT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM ( except Nurse Carol). She had 3 appliances left when I stepped in to figure out why. Im in contact w Tina now to solve the issue.

We're very excited for Cosmo taking on the Administrative position. Looking forward to clean and refreshed rooms. Not sure if they are getting new staff, But my dad has been clean and covered the current visits. Prior to Cosmos on taking, we weren't very happy with the cleanliness and not knowing how often patient's being changed and cleaned. Hoping for better review soon.

I was here for a year and a half and I would absolutely not even think about putting my worse enemy in there , the food is beyond disgusting in the time I was there i had hair in my food numerus times I had raw meat literally a bloody piece of chicken, raw meatloaf in the middle. Raw fish , bruised rotten potatoes , they rarely serve whats on the menu , it got so bad I ended up buying my own refrigerator for my room and my own food alot of microwave dinners , I didnt have a freezer so I kept my ice cream bars in there freezer .staff was constantly getting into my ice cream bars and giving them to residents. If your family can do your laundry have them do it your clothes come back from the laundry there it smells of feces because they throw all your clothes in with soiled laundry , then I hope you have the money to buy new clothes v because they'll lose your I have found a few of my things in the donation closet . The staff is rarely full especially the CNAs they have had one CNA on her hall by herself numerous times, most of the cnas are from agency and cant hardly speak or understand English. The picture I just seen on here that they are advertising this place does not even close to what it looks like there. The nurses there though as long as they are not agency are wonderful they care and treat you like your a real person not a business staff cnas treat you the same very caring . T h e providers that you see the actual doctor Dr. P is wonderful caring, the other provider Mary is the nurse practioner is absolutely HORRIBLE that even messes with your meds and makes you worse than you were, she did that to me often it got so bad I turned her in to the state and I told the facility that I am practicing my residents right #5 you have the right to have your own provider , Mary was not allowed to have anything to do with my medications. They just recently had numerous managers and department heads leave to another facility cause they could not take it there anymore. The facility is also filthy looking especially the carpets, I stayed as long as I did because I started getting worse I started out in rehabilitation and the next thing I know im in longterm care. I can list a whole bunch more , think about your loved one I wouldn't put them in here. Im rewriting my review Yes everything i said about the food is true laundry true the place looking dingy somewhat true Mary the nurse practioner GONE when I wrote this review i had just left and took all the negative with me. They had a very one of a kind Administrator at the time that kept making promises that was not met as time was passing I still was not happy now it was worse. I missed EVERYONE here it showed me it wasnt just all the faults it was me comparing this place to other well there is no other place like this Enumclaw Rehabilitation and Health Center I discovered in reality was MY HOME and this place is like a family I missed every single person I was gone for almost 2 months and when I made the decision to come back I seen some changes it was as dreadful a I thought it was as a matter of a fact it looked cleaner. So I guess this new administrator is making things happen unlike the last one thst made I dont do anything promises. And yes I would put my mother in her, just from the warmth and compassion, I felt very welcomed home .

My dad spent about a month in this rehab facility to recover from a post hospitalization issues. They were nice, professional and very helpful. They took care of all his needs during the time he spent there. The PT team is ready good and know what they're doing. Nursing team is also very good and they managed his medical monitoring and medicine accurately. He was happy being there and made many friends with the team!

My sister has lived here for almost 4 years. I don't think I could find a better fit for her. She keeps as active as she wants and has made many friends with both patients and staff. She is pretty picky about what she eats and is a diabetic but they work with her and always find something she can eat. They work with the kidney dialyses center to get her to and from her appointments and see that she has meals before she gets on the bus. I have meet most of the staff and they are friendly, and processional.

Residents have been complaining as to the items they have been selecting from their weekly menu not being what they have asked for. Such as items being served that the resident said on their menu they don't want or items not being served at all that the resident specified. If item are substituted, residents are not being notified of the changes. Not enough staffing for the proper care of the residents. Things need to change. I am a mandated reporter and it is my job to report these discrepancies to the Adult Protection Services and to DSHS if these discrepancies are not dealt with. I will also file a report with the Critical Response Unit.

We placed my loved one here for rehab and they have been absolutely amazing. They have gotten him up and moving more than we believed he would be able. The staff is very friendly and management is quick to help whenever needed. I will recommend this facility to all my friends and family when they need a place to go.

My grandmother was at this facility for a few months. My family and I came in and out at all hours of the day and the front desk was always nice to us. I have to say that one stood out from the rest and his name is Noah he was a young man who does the activity:s for all the residents and one on one care he will go far in life he has a very wise soul. My 92-year-old Dad came here for rehab from a lengthy hospital stay and decided he didn’t want to leave. The Staff here walked us (and at times carried us) through rehab, a variety of serious health issues, and ultimately my Dad’s passing and always with Dad's best interests at heart. Dad was here for a year and a half, and the care he received was above and beyond what would be expected. The Staff became our friends and we felt like part of the EHRC family. I highly recommend this facility.

This place is fabulous! My Dad has been a resident for quite some time and the people here take great care of him. I’m December I came to see him for the Christmas dinner and he would not go down to the dining room to eat because they were serving alcohol so they made trays for my Dad and I and served us in a little nook by the nurses station. A little while later a nurse came by, told me my Dad’s watch wasn’t working and offered to take it and buy a new battery for it! Yep you read that right! Danielle, Kim, Stephanie and the entire crew are all vet caring and professional. It never smells bad in this facility and when I asked for pain meds on a separate occasion they gave them to my Dad quickly. My aunt and Dad’s baby sister cane to visit from Kansas and she is a stickler and has been a nurse for 40 years and she thought this facility was a good one!
