Worst place Hamot hospital could have sent my mother. She had fractured c1 and spent a week in Hamot. She was suppose to be in Elmwood for therapy. She was loud, mouthy and on occasion combative. Instead of finding out she had a major UTI they drugged her and put her in the hallway in a diaper to embarrass her. Two male orderly’s at the time should not have been there working with the elderly. I saw the food. Bologna sandwiches and a look of disgust and fear on the other residents faces. This place needs to be randomly inspected or shut down!!

I'm picking up shifts here through agency, and I have to say this is most definitely one of the nicer places I've been. Staff has been more than helpful with any questions I have. The patient to nurse/CNA ratio is great. The building could use some updates, but overall is a nice place with nice staff.

My first time at a rehab center. I had wonderful care givers met great people. I would recommend. It is an older facility needs some sprucing up but as far as the employees they were wonderful.

My neighbor stayed over Christmas and it was terrible the food has small portions and she was still hungry and she is an diabetic and her sugar went down she rang for the nurse and finally they gave her cookies. When she was there before she loved it that's why she went back there not anymore.
