Our parents our residents here. And we frequently (weekly) see them. The food is always great, especially this weeks eggs Benedict. More savory specials for brunch menu please. This week there were many more visitors. It's heart warming to see family together.

My 98-year-old mother fell and broke her femur. After researching rehabilitation facilities we decided on Encore. We could not be more satisfied. The attention and care she is getting has been excellent. The nurses and their assistants provide great care. And her room is spotless as is the rest of the immaculate facility. It is so well run. Nice to have a staff that is caring and friendly and makes you feel welcome and cared for. My sisters and I can rest easy knowing our mother is in good hands. So far everything is fine, is less than one day only. Service is little slow may be because of weekend, specially he can't talk or call right away. Nothing else. Thanks. Very clean atmosphere and excellent services. Little concern about night shift, they are not paying attention to the patient .

Encore Village is a great place for older adults to stay active during retirement and beyond. If they can no longer drive, they are independent at Encore. They can go to the fitness center, salon, indoor pool, restaurants and bars, bank, trails through the woods, laundry service, convenient care, pharmacy, play pool, bocce ball, pickleball, attend free entertainment, play bingo, play bridge, bus service to doctor appts...all on their own time table. That is INDEPENDENT LIVING for older adults - making their own decisions for the day as long as they possibly can. It is a safe and friendly place for residents and staff. When new residents arrive they have a resident guide get them acquainted with the village, services, and people. You are not alone at Encore. Friendships last forever.

And core Village is a Beautiful retirement community. Everyone who works there is so friendly and nice and very helpful. There are so many amenities you don't even have to leave. The only suggestion would be To have an interior map, so visitors as well as residence will be able to navigate through the inside, for instance to find the barbershop or some of the other awesome restaurants available to them. I got a little lost when I went there. I'm still trying to navigate the inside, but it's overall an awesome place to live.

The Rehab staff provides excellent and professional service. Facility is clean and spacious. Check in procedure is cumbersome and annoying if you have to visit everyday due to frequent breakdown of equipment.

Catherine spent over 2 hours with us and answered all our questions. She explained all the pricing and amenities included. The tour was very informative and my friend found an apartment size that would work for her. She may not be ready right now but is definitely considering it for the future. Catherine made our visit a very comfortable and satisfying one.

Great experience. Marissa in the sales department is wonderful and super helpful. Facility is beautiful, spacious, and offers lot of activities. Staff is so kind and helpful to my parents. My mom and dad are very happy here and we rest easy knowing they are well cared for at Encore.

There are plenty of activities going on all the time. Something for everyone. The facilities common areas are always neat and tidy and the hallways are always peaceful. Everything your parent needs. A gym, a pool, hair salon, bank, convenience store, a day office, 2 restaurants and a cafe. Oh and a bonus is the bar that serves alcohol with karaoke nights. The list goes on.

Came to watch the movie that the residents made. It was a fun night. Wine, punch, and snacks were provided for us. I used to live at the village and was on the movie crew, so it was wonderful to see old friends. The movie was great by the way.

The regular staff at Encore Village played a vital role in my mother's recovery as she stayed in the rehab unit. Specifically three employees - her nurse Auree, who would pop her head in before even putting her purse down, and would make sure nothing was missed with her care. Auree was diligent in her approach and so friendly. The CNA Benita, who was always careful in her handling of my mom; who is very fragile. Benita was always rushing place to place but took the time to care for each person patiently and lovingly. My mom told her she would miss her the most. Last but not least, her wound nurse Oscar. My mom entered rehab with a stage 4 wound on her tailbone. Oscar's attention to detail and meticulous treatment has healed her wounds so well that it's almost completely healed today. Not only did he do an incredible job with her, but he coached us kids through the process and made sure we knew how to care for it when we took her home. My family praises these three employees of Encore Village, and we will be forever grateful to them for helping care for our precious mom. Thanks, Encore! - Kassie C.

We like the changes we're seeing! Specifically how hands on, friendly and knowledgeable the staff is! Mgmt. seems to be more hands on and available to staff and community, thank you! The staff seemed a little worn out with the prior owners, understandably so. Glad to see Mgmt. leading by example, we like where you're heading! So many activities and family involvement. It's like living on a cruise ship! We appreciate all you do!

A dear friend lives there and took us on a tour. Everything was lovely. I like the multiple dining areas and the quiet places along the hallways. (I would be reading there.) The Meditation area and salon were also very comfortable looking. Her room is beautiful with a great view. She's very happy there.

Update: The name has changed from Friendship Village to Encore Village, but the spirit of friendship has not changed and remains strong. My father passed away on May 24, and I traveled from out of town to spend time with my mother. I can't say enough about the expressions of care and concern that my mother and I received, and about the hospitality that allowed me to remain in close proximity to her during a very difficult time. I am grateful to Encore Village for the exemplary care it has provided to my parents. I am also grateful for the outstanding staff--social workers, healthcare workers, custodial staff, and front desk staff. Everyone is so caring and kind. Thank you! ________________________________________________________ Friendship Village truly lives up to it's name. It's social workers, nurses, nursing assistants, dining staff, and aids provide exemplary levels of care with genuine interest and concern for each resident. The various spaces in this very extensive complex are lovely and well maintained. The level of cleanliness is outstanding. I especially appreciate the library spaces located near the Bridgegate entrance, along with the beautiful fountain, plants, and variety of seating areas. I feel very grateful that my parents are living there. My father, in particular, has benefited from a continuity of care from Independent Living to Memory Care.

The staff cannot be nicer. We experienced 5 great years in independent living. More recently moved in to assisted living. Staff could not have been more helpful or supportive to mom during the move. We have also needed to use the skilled nursing section 4 times over the years. From the nurses to the therapists and all the staff, everyone worked to get mom better and back to her room.

I was there to visit a family member. Just checked in and went to their room. The facility is clean and cheerful. The 2 gentleman in the check-In area went on with their conversation, never acknowledging our entry or offering guidance.

My sister in law spent time in the Briarwood Short Term Rehab. Extremely clean. The Physical and Occupational Therapists worked her everyday and made her strong and were very kind to her. Very pleased with this. She will now consider moving into their assisted living. This place is top notch to get you back on your feet quickly!

My Mom and our family have been very happy since we chose Friendship Village assisted living 5 years ago. The people who work at FV are genuinely friendly and caring, there are tons of activities and great places to eat. Also doctor's offices, hair salons, pharmacy, etc. There is even a bar right next to the library and mom's favorite restaurant. The ownership has changed recently, and it seems that they have the right background and competence to keep things strong here.
