They send food to my father every day through meals on wheels, but the same food can be purchased at location for very cheaply if you're older and a reasonable price if you aren't. Food is good, not fancy, and varied. They have a lot of programs and my mother used to do some of them and had nothing but good things to say.

I’m just here to say don’t believe the people who rated MMC 1star it’s not true and they only butt hurt . They need get funding and open their own facility. My 83 yr old mom has taken multiple trips with MMC to London Martha’s vinyard. West Virginia and had fantastic time . They have lunch program physical fitness programs swimming pool exercise chair dancing fellowship with other wonderful people and access to various programs to help seniors . Modern Maturity is one of best places to go to avoid being lonely in your golden years and all people are nice . I love the MMC ’’

The Modern Maturity Center is a place where seniors can be seen, heard, welcomed, valued and supported. I have gone on numerous trips and tours with MMC through the years, including 3 relaxing cruises to Hawaii, Alaska, and the Bahamas. Once you sign up for a tour, all you do is drive or get a ride to the center and leave your car in a special parking area designated for trips. All the tour planning, travel, and accommodations are taken care of for you. There are also many fun and relaxing day trips to restaurants and theatres in different states. Whether you like to sing, dance, cook, travel, party, study, exercise, or just enjoy a delightful daily luncheon with friends, there is something for everyone at MMC. Membership is open to those at least 50 years old, and the center's monthly newsletter keeps us abreast of all the activities and services available.

Wonderful Conference Center and Event Location. The facility was easy to navigate with a large on-site parking lot. The staff was so gracious, helpful, and courteous throughout the day. On site catering was also very well presented, from fresh mixed fruit cups at breakfast and delicious pastries to a Hot all-American Fried chicken lunch with all the sides and your choice of vanilla or chocolate mousse for dessert to coffee and cookies for afternoon snack. Coffee, tea and water stations were refilled throughout the day and always wiped and cleaned frequently.

Went on 12-day Caribbean Cruise on February 5th 2022. Very nice trip. Dancing in your chair is a great work out just bring towels and lots of water, you will near it. I really enjoyed the aquatic exercise classes. The cost extra but worth it. Membership is very low and the meals taste great.

I really like going to the Modern Maturity center in Dover De. The food is very good and well prepared. You get a plate full of food 2 drinks and dessert all for $5.00. Can't beat that.

My sister and I accompanied my grandparents for a dinner and show here around Christmas time. I thought it was kind of pricey, but it turned out to be beautifully done. The food was very good! It was kinda packed in there though. They could have done with 1 less person per table at minimum. I understand they are trying to make money, but those tables were overly packed. The play was done very well and had lots of comedy. I also really liked them having a cash bar!

We hold the annual Delaware Council of Teachers of Mathematics Math League competition there and their hospitality is just fantastic. Each year I hear returning students say the best part they like is the traditional dinner afterwards. Fried chicken, roast beef, stuffed shells, salad, green beans, rolls, and desserts galore. Its exciting to see young people looking forward to something each year.
