In the serene neighborhood of Northridge, where gracious hospitality and delectable cuisine meet, my grandmother resided in a community where some staff members exuded genuine kindness. However, the maintenance of her living quarters often fell short, with intervals passing before cleaning and bedding changes occurred. It became evident that staffing levels were insufficient, as the dedicated personnel juggled numerous tasks simultaneously. Regrettably, despite earnest discussions with both staff and management, the situation remained unchanged, prompting the decision to transition my grandmother to a more accommodating assisted-living facility. Despite efforts to escalate concerns to higher management, the challenges persisted unabated.

I have worked 2 different times with Northridge Place. The first time I was there I work for almost 2 years had to leave because of medical issues. Then 8 months ago I gone into see some of the residents that I took care of. Saw Fran she ask if I would want my job back as a level 1 med told her that I would love to come back.Last month a job open up in our lifestyle coordinator in the ALF building got that job, I love my job. Americare is a great company to work for they go beyond to help there employees and resident that live there Americare has classes to improve education on how to take care of people with Alzheimer's. Fran she treats her co works and residents like family. Yes you don't make lot of money working in health care but the relationship you build with your residents and there family makes up for it if you are looking for a job that you want to make a different in someone life this would be the palce or if you have a love one that needs little bit more help Northridge Place would love to take care and get to known your love one.

This is a very good place to send your loved ones but a very toxic work environment. I HIGHLY recommend not working here. I was 3 months pregnant when i started working here and I told my bosses this, I also told them i wasn't comfortable lifting because I was pregnant. They told me they were ok with that and i worked there for about three months not lifting. Then a new girl got hired and from the start she was trying to get me fired because I was younger. She made up lies about me to my bosses and told them I wasn't lifting and it wasn't fair. I then got pulled into the office and got my job threatened over something they told me months ago was fine. I explained what was going on with that co worker and asked if there was anyway i could work with someone else or possibly move shifts (both were things that could have easily been done at the time) and they told me we don't get to pick and choose who we work with. It's extremely toxic and I ended up having to quit because of the stress.

My mother has been at this facility for a few months. It is a wonderful facility, very clean, and the staff is excellent. They have the ability to make life good again for those suffering with Alzheimer's. They assist with medicines, health care, exercises, social events, and wanting to make the people there comfortable, healthy, and happy. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great place for Alzheimer's senior living for a loved one or friend. They also have an assisted living area for those not suffering with Alzheimer's. I live out of state and the stress that everyone there has removed from me is priceless. They also don't take in too many patients so care is always at a premium for everyone. Great facility, great people, and they care for every need that comes up. A+++++

Great Experience - everyone was so kind, place is bright and cheerful. Folks were laughing and enjoying life. They had the room all ready to go with a Welcome Basket and Sign on the door. Love all the pictures up of residents and the decor. Very nice, looking forward to visiting my loved one often! Staff was great - nice, helpful, patient and informative.

My Mother-in-law has been a resident at Northridge Place for over 2 1/2 years. They have provided such good care for her during this time. The staff is always willing to assist and help her and/or us if a need arises. Her health improved so much after coming to Northridge. When medical issues arise they are there to get her health back to normal. The meals, the activities provided and just the social surroundings are such an asset for the residents. I recommend Northridge Place to everyone I talk to that is thinking of placing their loved one in a assisted living facility.
