The nurse ([name removed]) is not very friendly and speaks in a condescending tone. Many other families feel this same way. She's especially bad/rude when it's just you and her one on one. In a public setting, she's all smiles though. She is definitely not a people person, and is in the wrong job. Even the staff feel she is not nice. She's only an LPN.

I can not say enough how much I appreciate everyone at Brickmont of West Cobb when deciding on an assisted living for my dad. Alice Jane, Sharon, Adeola and the concierge at the front desk were absolutely amazing to work with. They cared so much for my dad and were helpful in every way. The dining area was such a beautiful place for him to gather and talk with friends. I'm so thankful for the experience he had at Brickmont with his loving and caring nurses and med techs. Thank you Sharon for giving my dad the opportunity to live there“

Most of the caregivers were very good in memory care. However, the atmosphere was one of repression stemming from the owners/ leadership. The self imposed "rules" have no basis, especially when compared to all other facilities in the area. In memory care, we were only allowed to visit in our loved one's room. There was never any celebration for holidays or gatherings with the residents families...never a feeling of joy. The owners and leaders offer ZERO communication! After multiple emails asking simple questions, we never received the first response. The promise of "housekeeping" was just empty words. We got to the point we would come and clean/ mop the sticky floors weekly. Before leaving your family member here, check out the many other options within a 5 mile radius. It's better to do your due diligence in advance before having to disrupt your loved one's life with another needless move.

We moved my mom into Memory Care at Brickmont at West Cobb a month ago. We have been so pleased with the amazing care she has received there and overwhelmed by the kindness everyone who works there has shown our family. The building is beautiful and clean and the residents are well attended to. They are open to me bringing my moms dogs for visits which she loves. We are so thankful to have Brickmont to keep my mom safe and well cared for.

I have read the negative reviews and let me just say i DO NOT AGREE my mother recently moved in and we could not be happier. Staff is helpful and friendly. The management team is always available even after hours. If you're looking for a place that you can trust look no further.

Brickmont of West Cobb is always a delight when I'm there visiting. The Care Staff and management are very helpful. Jacquelyn is so creative with the activities they do and I love to see all of the residents having a great time with each other.

Brickmont is a place I would call Home. I am the Memory Care Coordinator and this is the most amazing & peaceful place I have every worked. A lot of places say they are about team work and they don't be, But Brickmont is. Every one work together as a team from the mangers to the care staff. It is an awesome place and full of laughter from staff and residents. Our residents love us with the up most respect because they know they are in good hands. If you are looking for a place for your love on this is the place to be, because we are about love and respect not only do we love our residents but we love our families as well!!!!!!!!!
