They are taking EXCELLENT care of our dad. It's impossible that they would administer a vaccine without consent from a family or physician member of the family! We moved dad from La Vida Real two years ago...BEST DECISION we made for his life now without mom. The facility feels brand new; hygienic, organized, WELL STAFFED, attentive and friendly! Many of us have had reactions to our Covid vaccinations and the booster as well. Every one of us will experience bad and worse reactions based on our immune system and our DNA but we can't place the blame on the facility! We could not be more happy with his living arrangement and we visited all over the county before moving him here!

Beautiful facility, wonderful staff. My mother moved to St. Paul's Plaza 3 months ago and so far we love it. The staff has been so helpful and loving to my mom. Anytime we ask for help they take care of her right away. They also make sure she gets out for dining and activities. She lives in memory care and we couldn't be more pleased. It's been a wonderful experience. The facility looks like a beautiful hotel, it's clean and they are very careful about Covid. We also found their prices are comparable to other senior residences in the area.

Tried enrolling my mom here in independent living. Was asked to instead consider assisted living which changed the price from $4000 to $8383 a month. I asked if I could enroll in independent, as my mom's insurance allows for her own private care for free, and they would not allow this. They stated "they aren't licensed for Independent Living". It is strange to me that their website states that they are. The facility looks very nice, but their enrollment process was incredibly disappointing and also very confusing.

During my visits to St Paul's Plaza Chula Vista, what I appreciate the most is clean ventilated air. It has central AC going through the entire building including Apts n all hallways( no fooling us) I could feel the clean filtered air coming out thru the vents I saw toxic air being sucked out. St Paul Plaza s not fooling U... it really has healthy ventilation!!!! The air quality I feel s excellent... no us old people's odor, no foul smell.. I felt good afterwards without sore throat nor ill effects. They tell me the building is 5 yrs old... it really looks n smells like brand new... Believe me I ve visited many other senior facilities I just wanted to do a UTurn n exit quickly. Thank u so much St Paul Plaza for us seniors especially, our longevity depends on the environment....what we breathe in n what we ingest.... I must not forget Alyssa the front desk receptionist... she was done w her shift leaving she saw me waiting outside looking nervous waiting for Lyft. She reassured me Lyft would arrive in 3 mins...She waited w me helped me up onto the van n buckled me in.She was so nurturing so sweet and tender I really really was very grateful thank you Alyssa for all your help. Genesis was w me but her appt arrived.. so she had to leave...

WOW What can I say. First off finding a place that was suited for my Mom and Step Dad that is on the higher end without breaking the bank was a challenge. Once we called and met Lizett Schulz, the most incredible person ever, helpful, kind knowledgeable. She answered every question we had and even answered questions we didn't know to ask. If anyone is in a situation looking for an incredible place for their parents, grandparents, please call Lizett. She puts this stressful situation in perspective and helps remove the fear we all have during a transition.

This review is long overdue. Last year my wife and I were searching for a competent memory care facility throughout San Diego County for my father-in-law who is dealing with Alzheimer's disease. That's when we found out about St. Paul's. They have a location in Downtown (St. Paul's Villa) as well as in the South-bay, the Plaza. After much consideration we choose to go with St. Paul's Plaza memory care program which is just a few blocks away from our home in Eastlake. The building and memory care facility are top notch, the staff is courteous and always a phone call away. We were concerned about his transition but after communicating with the administration staff they guided us through each step of the process. We are so happy because right now with the whole Covid19 situation going on, we know that St. Paul's Plaza is the safest place to be for him. We would not be able to care for him at our home while keeping him safe. Big thank you to St.Paul's and their amazing staff.
