I've been at the americana for 2 weeks. Some things got messed up but also got fixed (right away) all the staff I met was awesome. A big thanks to director of nursing (tami) .... your wonderful !! And a big thank you to physical therapy lady (mae) for giving me the motivation I needed to get going... I APPRECIATE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE ON MY BEHALF..

Had a family member there for rehabilitation after toe amputated caused from being diabetic. He got very little PT. Didn't have him on a diabetic diet. He got one shower the entire time he was there. His heels turned black from pressure sores and he had bed sore. He was sent home with open wounds. Was told he would be receiving home nurse care. After leaving several messages I finally got a call back just to let me know there is no home care available in our area. My Father is now back in the hospital with MRSA and most likely will lose his entire foot. I do not recommend this place at all!!

I would highly recommend this facility! I had A family member stay here they took excellent care of my family member. The staff are very friendly, hard working answered all my questions also very caring. Thank you to all the staff that took the most excellent care of of my family member.

I've been a resident of Americana Health & Rehab. Center since spring of 2012 when I lost my caretaker husband to years of heart disease The PT and OT did a terrific job helping me regain the full use of my hands so I was able to crochet and use my sewing machine again. Still can. I have met a lot of very nice people here both employees and residents. French dips, turkey clubs, various homemade Soups, a variety of specialty salads, eggs as u want them are a few of delicious menu selections. A new Activities Dir. is doing great taking various crafts and games around to rooms during during this time of Covid. We've had no Covid here. Great job protecting us fromCovid. Spend lot of time watering and deadheading in our garden. So many things to do all the time!

The Americana is filled with helpful care givers. I spent four months there in 2016 to rehab from a compound leg injury. Everyone was great in assisting me in my successful recovery. I also acted as a Concierge for the facility prior to the pandemic. I would happily return as a patient or employee should the need arise.
