My mom has been living at North Cascade.Health and Rehabilitation for over a year now. My family and I are very happy that she is in this facility!! She is well cared for and safe. I am absolutely impressed by North Cascade Health and Rehabilitation, so much so that I have decided to live here. The entire staff, including Elvis and Yogesh, to name a few. They have welcomed me in like family. The entire CNA team, Drs, Nursing Staff, Laundry and Custodial Staff go above and beyond every time. This is an excellent facility and I highly recommend it.

NCHR is always presentable and clean. The staff is welcoming. Meals handed out on time. All the employees are attentive. Yogesh always pays extra attention to patients needs. I can’t say enough about this facility! I’ve left a couple of reviews but since one of my favorite staff members, Yogesh, is going to only weekends, I am leaving another. Yogesh has always been extremely polite, helpful, supportive and a positive part of my recovery process. He has known my name from the moment I arrived here and has been helpful in any way that I needed. He’s not only like that with me but with everyone I’ve ever seen him interact with. I spent 11 days in this facility for rehab on my back prior to some other treatment. My experience deserves nothing then short of 5 Stars. I had anxiety and worry about this stay, but realized almost immediately, I was in good hands. The staff was incredible, with highly qualified doctors, physical/occupational therapists, nurses, house cleaners, food service, and certified nurses aides . Everyone was friendly and responsive to the red call button. Good choice of meals for specific dietary needs.

This review is specific to many of the nursing staff at North Cascades. The nurses here have a tough job, with many patients that have diverse and critical needs. The nurses that have assisted me have been polite, work hard, and do a good job overall. An example of their best is a nurse named Kamaljit. Kamaljit exemplifies the best traits in nursing staff. She is always polite and professional, efficient and works very hard. Additionally, if I have requests, perhaps outside of her scheduled tasks, she always finds a way to be able to help me out. Her medical skills and knowledge are exemplary. Kamaljit even smiles at my poor jokes.

Last month, we had the opportunity to tour the facility, and we were impressed by the experience. The director was friendly, informative, and truly sympathetic to our situation, as we were looking for immediate residence for our grandfather. The facility itself is clean, bright, and spacious, creating a welcoming environment. Additionally, the staff we encountered seemed kind and helpful, which gave us confidence in the care they provide.

My dad was there in January after he broke fell and broke his hip. We chose North Cascades because it was the cleanest of all of the facilities we toured. The therapy team there was on point. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone in need of a rehab stay.

I want to express my gratitude to the staff at North Cascades for their excellent care for my father-in-law, Gary, who recently spent a month at the facility healing from an amputation. My wife came home from every visit with her Dad with something positive about one person or another who worked with her dad and I know at times he could be very difficult! Thanks to Merrylyn, Esby, Tyler, Jessie, nurse Julie, Suki, Kathy, Darius, Fern, Cheyenne, Kim, Tina, Karen, Fritz and all the many others who worked with Gary. You all are angels on Earth!

I can’t begin to tell you how marvelous the staff is here. I haven’t got one complaint to Xpress, their informative, courteous and helpful. I couldn’t begin to name everyone but I haven’t found one person that is offensive. I was very nervous coming to this surroundings. I have past experience with convalescence, Rehab. Experiences was working in facilities such as this. But everyone put me at ease, and I have simmer down within myself. I don’t know who’s gonna read this, but I hope they take it to heart I want. My husband was in Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bham WA for about 2 weeks. The staff was very caring and kind. The nurses were kind and helpful! Kamaljit and Menbir, Fritz Tina...to mention a few! If you need to stay away from home, this is a good place. Beautiful surroundings! Thank you North Cascades Health !

I have lived here for seven years. The staff are great and very caring. I need to mention these CNA's Kamal, Rangit, Elizabeth, Inder, Balbeer, Yogesh, Hashi, Bailey, Chris, Narinder, Nece, and these RN's: Harjinder, Christina, Jennifer, Sandy, Rebecca x 2. I know I have missed people, doing lists aren't easy these days. So if you're not listed forgive me. All of these take wonderful care of me and are patient with me when I'm a grumpy old man. The food isn't bad for institutional cuisine, I eat one meal because there are lots of carbs. The ED (Kody) is a good guy as he's gone to bat for me over some medical tussles.

My mom was here for the last three weeks of her life and the nurses and staff took such gentle care for her. Especially grateful for MaryLynn on the 2nd floor and Nadesh. They helped walk me through hospice and end of life care. So thankful for them helping my mom get comfortable. And the lovely CNA’s who helped me dress her after she passed. The whole things was a sacred experience.

Housekeeping and kitchen could step up their game. Also social services needs to improve on their part. I want to mention that Yogesh.N., Sandy Kaur, and Savannah Longstaff were very helpful, kind and polite. These employees were on top of their game and took good care of me.

My father was in rehab here for six weeks following a stroke. The facility was clean and he was well cared for during his stay. Staff was attentive, accommodating, and therapy was focused on his particular needs with the end goal of being able to go home as soon as possible. Upon my father’s release from the center, the care team coordinated his post rehabilitation care when he transitioned home. Initially we had several options to consider for my father’s rehabilitation. When my mother and I toured the facility before admittance, we were concerned about making the right decision for his rehabilitation. At the end of my father’s stay, my mother had many praises about the care he received while at North Cascades, confirming that the right decision had been made to place him there. While no rehabilitation center is going to be perfect, North Cascades was a good choice for us and I would not hesitate having a loved one go there for rehabilitation care.

North Cascades was good for my mother in law for rehab. People were nice and therapy was good. The food there is better than at the hospital so I think that helped her towards recovery also. I would have another family go there if needed.

Our father spent six weeks at North Cascades. From beginning to end, we were all impressed with the level of care he received, ranging from the cleaning staff to the nurses to the incredible therapists. The facility was clean and appropriately staffed, our dad's care plan was implemented as written, and dad received daily therapies. What impressed us the most was the genuine caring and compassion that all of the staff showed toward our dad - they knew him as an individual and took the time to listen to his wants and needs. They also took the time to listen to all of us. If we need North Cascades again, we would not hesitate to return there.

I visit North Cascades about once a month to bring communion to the Catholics. I am impressed with the caring attitude of the folks who work there. That's the most important thing but in addition, It feels clean and fresh. My mother was there for 2 months years ago, and the fact is that this level of care is tough on everyone; it's the nature of an institution to standardize care, but I notice the accommodations they make for individuals and I think they listen to each other. I honestly think it's about as good as it gets.
