Had a friend stay here for short term IV, Really great staff and people all of them are super nice and the care is amazing especially the patience they have with some of the residence here who are not very nice. I’ve always seen the residence outside of their rooms and all the staff here always interact with the them. My friend who stayed here never had a bad word to say they were lovely and the food was delicious. The receptionist her smile was always very pretty

This was a place where our loved one needed to be closely monitored and cared for after a very traumatic experience due to weakness and infection. He was hospitalized for 4 days and then arrived at your facility to recoup until being discharged home. As the family we know how much care just one person requires to function optimally. We are so thankful for the kindness of everyone involved in helping us get to the discharge point. The receptionist, assistants with meals/toileting/showering, the social worker, ALL the nurses and coordinator of PT/OT/pain management and wound care etc everyone went above and beyond to make the experience a good experience. So, thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts for ALL YOU DID and for who you are!!! A million thanks! A million stars for you!!!! Much appreciation The Giuliano Family.

The care they provide for all of their patients is existent through all the staff in the building. My mother was a patient here prior, so it wasn't a hard choice to have my pops rehab experience here as well. Everyone is so friendly, and they "care" for their patients, and the people who live here. I highly recommend, them to anyone that needs their services. I am truly grateful.

From the very first day we walked in looking for a place for our mother, the staff at Grapevine Medical Lodge made us feel welcome and at home. Once she moved in, they took such wonderful care of her for nearly three years. What meant so much to us was that many of the original staff members from day one were still there when she passed, and they remained tender, compassionate, and attentive to her from start to finish. They came to know our father and our whole family because we were there so often. Through all of my father’s medical ups and downs, they cared for him as well. When he stayed there for respite care so he could be close to her while I traveled, they were amazing with him too. In the final days, after our mother was moved to comfort care, our father suffered a stroke the very next day. The staff helped us keep them together at the end, and their compassion during that heartbreaking time meant more than words can express. We truly could not imagine going through it anywhere else. They were amazing through it all. When we lost our parents and eventually moved everything out, it felt like we had lost an entire family there as well. We will always be grateful for the kindness, consistency, and love they showed all of us during one of the most important seasons of our lives. Sharon Bowdish

I wanted to take a moment to share our experience with Grapevine Medical Lodge while my mom has been in their care. Michelle at the front desk, Grace (med aide), and Jennifer, the wound specialist, have all been absolutely fantastic. Their communication has been excellent, they are attentive to my mom’s needs, and they have gone out of their way to accommodate our family. It’s such a relief to have a team that is not only professional, but also genuinely caring and responsive. That makes a huge difference when you have a loved one in a skilled nursing facility. I LOVE this facility! My family member has lived in a variety of places over the last 15 years. None can compare to Medical Lodge. The care is top notch. We’ve not had one issue with skin break downs and medications are given on time. The facility is clean all the time. The food is restaurant quality. The activities, and there are many, are engaging and include family participation. Our greatest moment here was when the physical therapy helped our family member stand on her own for the first time in 12 years. No one wants to think about nursing care for loved ones, but sometimes it’s the best option for them. Don’t settle for a second best institution. Choose a facility that’s a second family.

Let’s be honest Picking a skilled nursing center is brain damage between reading reviews and trying to pick the place for your family member. Having been in several I can honestly say that Grapevine Medical Lodge exceeded my expectations. The staff has been wonderful to my mom. She’s received good physical and occupational therapy that will help her when she gets home. In particular, I’ll call out Michelle at the front desk, nurse Mary, Demetria, and the rehab staff! The food and kitchen staff are also great!

My mother-in-law recently stayed two weeks at the Grapevine Medical Lodge following a week's stay in the hospital. Her main need was for physical therapy in order to return to our home. She was released from the hospital on a Friday night about 6:30 and would not arrive at the Lodge until well after 7. When I called the Lodge to share that the transport van would be late and we will arrive late, I asked if I should bring my MIL a meal since we would arrive after dinner serving at the Lodge. Michelle, who works the welcome desk (and does many more things I'm sure) took my call and said we would have a meal put on hold for my MIL and she could eat upon arrival. My MIL's room (which turned out to be a private room) was ready for my MIL and her meal was delivered promptly upon her check-in. My MIL's first impression was the food which she said was 100,000 times better than the hospital. Her aid, Johnny, was wonderful and helped me get the lay of the land and everything set up. Our prep for coming to the Lodge was wonderful by Angela and Michelle with calls and information on what to bring and what to expect. No one wants to be in rehab, but the staff at Grapevine Medical Lodge treated my MIL and our family very well. The physical therapy department was top notch and my MIL was home in two weeks rather than the expected three weeks. I highly recommend the Grapevine Medical Lodge for short-term rehabilitation!

They try to help the residents be the best version of themselves. There are activities options to do and good food options as well. They run the operation very well and keep it clean and smelling nice. It starts at the top - administrator Doug Cares for his workers well, so they in turn can care for their residents well.

She has been well cared for since she was admitted.The staff is caring and the financial office has been helpful from the beginning. No one wants their loved one to need this level of care, but I would not send my mom anywhere else.

My husband had been here several times over the last couple of years for rehab. We also had several stays in other facilities in our area and though they were very pretty and well decorated...the care...or lack thereof... was absolutely awful! Due to declining health that required more care than I could provide at home...he became a resident of Grapevine Medical Lodge last fall. I did extensive research into the Skilled Nursing facilities in my area and I kept coming back to this one. I am so glad I did! While no facility is perfect...this one comes close enough for my peace of mind. I am there every day and in the last several months, have only had a couple of fairly small issues. From the Director and department heads, to the nurses, the Aides the therapists and the office staff...these people genuinely care. The mood is always light and you seldom go very long without hearing laughter and upbeat conversations in the hallways...a good environment. When something does go wrong, they are quick to respond and address the issue.

The staff at this facility exhibits a degree of professionalism and dedication to their craft that one could only hope for when it comes to the welfare of your love ones. The administration is top notch as during the inclement weather we in north Texas were having to contend with he and his wife were outside shoveling snow and ice and walking people to their cars to insure their safety. The nursing staff along with the aides are as good as it gets and if you’re in need of a facility to house and care for a love one you won’t be sorry if you choose Graprvine Lodge Medical. My mom has been here over a year and a half. I visit at least once a week and I NEVER see anyone treated poorly. Doug the director is super nice and the nurses have always taken such good care of my mom. She is on a schedule when she wakes up and gets in bed: she is always happy. I have a camera in her room and never see anything wrong. Some of the residents are experiencing things that cause them to be mean to the staff and the staff always respond so kindly. I feel sorry for the staff sometimes because they endure a lot: so blessed that they care about the residents. If you have concerns about your parent go there more and visit at different times. See for yourself.

My mom was here for 3 months, rehabilitating after breaking her leg. She has always dreaded going into a facility such as this, so she wasn't happy when she first arrived. The staff at Grapevine Medical Lodge listened to her concerns and addressed any complaints she had. The care she received was superb. By the time she left, she was extremely happy with her stay and complaining that she would miss her friends (the staff). She has had me take her back to visit them. Thank you to everyone at Grapevine Medical Lodge for taking great care of my Mom. She is extremely nit-picky. The fact that she was actually happy being there, in the type of facility she always said I had better not take her to, speaks volumes about the high caliber care you gave.

Oh yes, this is Marilyn Mcintire and my husband Marty McIntire has spent two different times here at the Grapevine Medical Lodge and it is absolutely a blessing to us and to him for the care he received one comment was he said everybody here is just so happy, he fractured his hip and they brought him back to healthy Lee left here strong happy him. He was never sad here the people that work here are just absolutely outstanding and caring. You know that they care for your loved one and I would recommend Grapevine Medical Lodge to anybody I when people ask me, I sing their praises, I’ve even mentioned it two different doctors how wonderful this place is if they have a patient that needs to have some therapy done and they yeah they just say oh I didn’t know that thank you for letting me know. I’ll pass it on to my patients, so I recommend in Grapevine medical lodge in so many ways, the love, the care, the joy, the laughter it’s all here, and you will not be disappointed And saying good night to your love ones as you leave for the day after a visit because you know that they are in very very good hands. My mother was a resident at Grapevine Medical Lodge for about four months. GML provided around the clock nursing care and a hospice company provided hospice care. One of the first things I noticed was that the staff at GML dressed mom in clean clothes every day and they encouraged her to get up, visit with other residents, go outside and participate in activities. Mom's room was spacious, clean and she had a nice large window. The staff all knew my mother and would speak very well of her whenever I visited. I was pleased with the care mom received at Grapevine Medical Lodge. No place is perfect, but the attention and nursing care Mom received was better than I could have given her at home, and I don't believe anywhere else would have done a better job treating her with kindness, gentleness and respect. Her regular CNA, Johnny was a favorite as he was always willing to help me and her with anything she needed.

My mother has been at Grapevine Medical Lodge for the past 6 months. Initially under skilled nursing, after a hospital stay, that has extended to long term care due to dementia and physical health. We have been pleased with mom's care overall. There seems to be minimal staff turn over. We receive consistent infomation about mom's progress from staff members. We like that the staff members are very approachable if needed for questions or concerns. There is a sense of family atmosphere among the long term residents and staff. Our mother is very content and although this was a hard decision, we feel Grapevine Medical Lodge was an excellent choice for her.
