Great location.

When you leave a facility in tears due to treatment by staff, trust you were sent to the wrong facility. I could give multiple potentially dangerous events, but will leave it at this.

I currently work in the Rehab and Living Center and I can definitely say this is one of the better facilities I have had the pleasure of working at. It looks good, smells clean and we all work good together. I treat my patients/residents like they are my own parents.
June 2021
Our family placed our Dad at The Homestead in memory care. It was such a stressful and difficult time for us. We worked with Hannah in marketing to get our Dad admitted and she made it a very positive experience. She was very reassuring and explained the process and paperwork thoroughly. Hannah also introduced us to the memory support coordinator, Cherie. We were so impressed with Cherie's energy, wisdom, and care for the residents. We also met with the nurse, Christine, who was incredibly helpful to get us settled with the medical issues. My overall experience with the Homestead is that it is truly a "home" for our dad. We are so fortunate that he is at a place that has a team of extraordinary people caring for him. It is a beautiful community there. I would highly recommend the Homestead. It has given our family so much peace to know our Dad is safe and his needs are provided for.

Date of Visit: 02/23/2020 - Visited a family member staying in the rehab here; seems to be a fairly nice facility. Family member complains of poor quality of food, but that's just how institutional food usually is in my experience. Was a significant odor throughout the building; not terribly pleasant, but definitely not as bad as other facilities.
March 2020
Nice spaces but staff seems VERY annoyed when they enter rooms. Anything you ask for or need seems like it's a huge request to them.
February 2020
Homestead needs to do better when caring for the aging patient population. Poor care resulting in body odor, greasy hair, dirty clothes and a urine filled depends left on the floor. Zero communication with family regarding resident status changes. It appears the staff do not care about residents - there are so many opportunities to provide better care.
October 2019
The pt staff excellent. The food worst in the world most u eatable. If you needed assistance it could be anywhere from 1/2hour to 1 hour before someone showedu p.
November 2018
My mom has lived here for over a year. The facility is beautiful and some of the staff are wonderful to her. However, the food is not good and has really not improved despite numerous new staff there to make it better. My biggest concern is the errors she has had with her medications. We pay almost $800 per month for meds to be managed, and many times she has been given the wrong dose, her pills have been lost when coming from the pharmacy and no one followed up on where they were, and she was given a medication that was dismissed from the physician for over a week before we realized she was still taking it! This is not acceptable. If she did not have family taking care of her and monitoring these things, she may not be here. There need to be improvements in this area or we will be looking for a new home for mom.
