A special "THANK YOU' to Lacey Bogatin, Atlas Business Manager. I have had the pleasure of being in communication with one of the OUTSTANDING representatives of Atlas Healthcare. She has been an integral part of helping with the care of our dear family friend (Lee Henry Alderton). He has been a resident for several years and Lacey has watched over him during and after the loss of his life partner. Her care of Henry has been invaluable, not only in taking care of managing his physical needs, but his emotional needs as well. Lacey is the HEART of Atlas for many who reside there. She is a blessing not only for Atlas, but for our family as well. FIVE STARS is barely enough!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Atlas Seashore Gardens was not what I had expected of a rehab nursing facility. Instead, the level of care I received was exceptional. All of the departments ,Nursing, Nursing assistants and Aids, Physical Therapy, Social Services, Food Services and Housekeeping all worked together seamlessly, and frequently over and above what was required, to provide me with excellent care. Thank you!

If You’re thinking about putting your parents or your spouse in this facility. You should research other places.! My mom has been at this facility for 3 1/2 years. It was owned by another company when we selected this facility.. Since the takeover moms care has gone downhill greatly. The staff that was from the former company are tremendously underpaid and overworked. The new company Atlas uses a lot of agency staffing. They don’t know the residents that they are working with and the care they give is not always adequate. My mom has suffered greatly from the transition. The Recreation team is phenomenal and some nurses are still good but overall thumbs down.! Look at your options.

After everything my mother went through, finding Seashore Gardens has been an incredible relief. The difference between our experience here and the care she received at Select Specialty has been like night and day. From the moment she arrived, the staff has treated her with kindness, compassion, and respect. Everyone we've interacted with has been very professional and genuinely seems to care about helping her recover. It's obvious they want their residents to succeed, and they're giving my mother the support and encouragement she needs to get back on her feet. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put our minds at ease. Communication with our family has also been excellent, which has made a stressful situation so much easier. After the terrible experience we had before, Seashore Gardens has truly been a breath of fresh air. We're grateful for the care, patience, and dedication the entire team has shown my mother. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seashore Gardens to anyone looking for a rehabilitation facility where the staff genuinely cares about their patients and works hard to help them recover. The only negative I have experienced so far has been the call button issues. It usually takes about 30mins-1hour for someone to show up. My mom was left in the bathroom calling for help for over an hour before someone finally showed up after the aide forgot she was in there. It wasn't an emergency situation but it could have been. This seems to be an issue at this facility I notice atleast a half dozen+ call button notices on their screens at any given time that aren't being addressed every time I go there. I understand most of the time these aren't emergencies or even real problems (accidental presses happen often too) and the staff probably gets bombarded with them all they it becomes backlogged.. This needs to be addressed though, perhaps a system for REAL emergencies versus a call button for assistance? This was only thing keeping me from giving them a 5th star. Thank you to everyone at Seashore Gardens for everything you're doing for my mother.

While on vacation, my husband, unfortunately, got sick and needed to go to rehab. So far, this facility and staff has done an outstanding job working with him. Everyone is courteous, caring and professional with my husband and myself when I visit.

When you walk into Atlas Healthcare in Galloway (formerly SGLC) on a weekend you are greeted by Diane and immediately feel comfortable and welcome. She is kind, caring and a bright spot at the beginning and end of a visit. People don’t think about the supporting staff at a facility when they are making decisions, but they should. If your person goes through the continuum of care with Assisted Living, Rehab, Skilled nursing and/or memory care, this is the staff that covers it all. The housekeeping staff is amazing! They keep an aging facility always looking spotless and have gone above and beyond for my father with Maria coming to see him with a constant smile and a cup of hot coffee. His morning coffee helps to keep routine and normalize a situation he can’t control and Maria brings that and more. She cares and is wonderful. Fermarie and Emilio make sure he gets his hot coffee when Maria isn’t around. They also stop by for a hello when they are nearby. This extra attention from such kind, caring people is so meaningful. I can’t shout out all the good people we’ve met but do want to mention Jess and the PT/OT team.

This is not a fake review. I have my 98 yr mother, at temporary rehab here after hospitalization from a fall where she abroke her ribs and ruptured her spleen. The first thing I noticed based on my other experiences with these Rehab facilities is that the staff is polite, courteous and attentive. All of these places are gonna have their problems due to understaffing , but the nurses and the kitchen staff e do not have any bad attitudes and did not appear angry. I was greeted with a smile, and every question I had , they found out the answer for me without annoyance and for me , when it comes down to it, the attitudes of the staff of makes all the difference in the world when kindness and caring is needed the most, and so far this place has been wonderful.

I have been a resident here at Atlas Seashore Gardens for 4 years. For the past two years I have been president of resident council. The staff here is caring and understanding. If you want to have fun and enjoy yourself the activities department is overwhelmingly efficient. They find things for you to do all day long no matter what. You always have lots of fun and something to do. Our housekeeping Department is sufficient and always keeps everything in the building clean no matter what it is. You can always count on them. Our nursing department is efficient and caring. We always get the proper medicine that we need. Our dietary always finds new foods for us to eat. They try very hard to keep very healthy.

I volunteer by visiting residents once a week. Seashore Gardens is a lovely home. It is clean and the residents are always very happy when I visit. I visit at night and there is an Aide named Rita who is always very attentive and has a very bubbly personality, which the residents enjoy. The residents speak with me about their activities - family visits, going out to family events and their activities at the home. They really enjoy baking, going out to lunch or ordering in, meditation, crafting and Bingo. They have a lot going on for the residents! Keep up the fun - it is important and it shows.

Visited a friend in Seashore Gardens. Without a doubt the nicest facility of its kind in the area. Missy and the Activities Department are amazing. The staff are caring, engaging, and truly dedicated to keeping residents happy, active, and involved. Their kindness and effort make a big difference every day.

I visit Seashore Gardens often. One thing that always stands out to me is how clean and organized it always is. I stopped to speak with one of the housekeepers, Fermarie, and told her what an amazing job she and her coworkers are doing. She was very thankful and informed me that she wants to keep the residents happy and healthy. That warmed my heart knowing how thoughtful they are by putting the residents as their first priority. She answered any questions I had and was respectful. I can not recommend Seashore Gardens enough by having such excellent staff like Fermarie.

Atlas Healthcare Seashore has been absolutely wonderful! It is super clean, well organized, well run, friendly staff, everything is really truly great! My brother has been here for several days and we are very happy that we have chosen this facility. Tonight they even had a wonderful party for everyone to celebrate Thanksgiving with delicious food and live entertainment. It was truly a heartwarming event. Thank you Atlas Seashore!

My father had to stay in this rehab for 6 weeks or more for a broken ankle. My parents both felt that the staff was kind, helpful and considerate to my father. He was there during Halloween and they even had several events to keep the patients entertained. It is no fun being in a rehab but it helps when the staff is kind like the people here are.
