Updated post: June 2026 My elderly, frail sister has lived at Riverton (formerly Westminster Village) for over 7 years in an apartment with personal care support. What has been such a blessing is that the truly wonderful personal care assistants have remained very consistent over that time, i.e. staff turnover is low. So the staff really knows my sister's goals and needs. They are very caring and always keep me well informed of changes and concerns. The nurse Jordan is competent, kind and always on top of things. Another bright spot is the administrator Shelby True who came about 2 years ago and has worked tirelessly to ensure the safety, comfort and happiness of the residents. I continue to feel very blessed to have my sister living at Riverton.

I have found the staff to be very caring and personable. My interactions with Jordan Smith (dir.) and Shelby (dir.) have been especially positive”they were both highly productive and able to assist me with all of my needs and requests. They are very knowledgeable and eager to help. Overall, the entire staff consistently greets residents with a smile, treats everyone with respect, and genuinely enjoys interacting with the community.

I was amazed when I arrived to visit dear friends and was warmly greeted by everyone. Such a beautiful, clean place! Our friends’ apartment was super cute and they love their private balcony. The dining room was very nice and the head chef even welcomed us. All in all, can’t say enough about Riverton!

I stopped by here for a tour last minute, and thankfully the staff were super friendly and allowed me to check it out. Everyone I met was extremely accommodating, despite me not scheduling a tour in advance. The facility itself was bright and airy, and overall I had a great experience.

My husband is a resident at Riverton! We are mostly satisfied with all phases of his environment. Sometimes he has to wait for help when he pushes his button. We try to understand he is not the only one that needs help!

The facility and staff has made it easy to add my dad into the mix. I constantly get emails on any and all activities, concerns, updates and issues arising there. It's great to see that amount of outreach. I truly feel they have got to know my dad and he's not just the guy in room ??. The entire staff seems to make it a point to learn who lives there and treat them as family. Thank you for giving me hope that good people are still out there.

We recently moved my mom from an Inpatient Rehab facility to Riverton Assisted Living. Erin Fox and Jennifer Simmers from Riverton were VERY helpful in making this a smooth transfer. Once at Riverton she was able to continue her PT and OT. Mom is already engaging in activities and raves about the staff and the food. We are very pleased with what we have experienced so far.

I am Sharon’s stepdaughter and I live 800 miles away from her. When it became necessary for Sharon to move into a senior living facility, I was contacted by Erin, Senior Living Advisor, at Riverton. Erin helped make this transition as stress free as possible. She went above and beyond to make the move-in process go smoothly. She was personable, caring, and communicative throughout. I met Erin in person on the day that Sharon moved in. I felt like I was greeting a friend after all the times we had talked and planned for this day. She made sure she was there to welcome Sharon personally. There were fresh flowers waiting in Sharon’s apartment, and Erin arranged for a long term resident to be an ambassador for Sharon as she transitioned into her new home. Her apartment is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The maintenance staff was on hand to set up televisions, hang pictures, and make sure everything was as it should be. Thank you, Erin and staff at Riverton for all you’ve done and continue to do for my stepmother. I highly recommend this facility! Warm regards, Karen Moore

I have now lived at Riverton for one month. My daughter and I had multiple interviews and tours here, with Lisa as our contact person. She did an excellent and professional job throughout our extensive analysis of senior living residences in Pennsylvania. The residents and staff here are very welcoming and friendly.

My mother lived here as a respite stay in-between rehab and going home. I have nothing but good things to say about all of my interactions with the staff. Quick responses to all of our communications and a deep sense of caring for the residents as well as curating a cheerful environment. Her room was extremely clean and spacious.

Our family selected Riverton Enhanced Senior Living and Skilled Care because it allowed my parents to reside at the same facility even though they required different levels of care. My dad is in the skilled care facility and my mom is in the assisted livng facility. Riverton gives both of my parents what they need and they are able to see each other daily. I feel that my parents are receiving excellent care. The facility is kept clean and is decorated nicely. My parents are enjoying the activities and the meals.I find the administration, medical staff, acitivies staff, and dining staff in both facilities to be welcoming and understanding of residents' needs. Someone once said to me, "It is difficult to put your parents into the care of others but allowing your parents to receive the care they need, allows you to spend more quality time with your parents and to enjoy them." I did the caregiver role as long as I was able to handle it. I recoginized that it was time to hand it over to others full time and participate part time.

Riverton enhanced living is amazing my first experience was working with April and she wonderful. My dad was very reluctant to live there . April didn't give up convincing him that it was a good place. She went far and beyond her job . The staff is very kind . When I go see my dad they actually know my name I highly recommend Riverton
