The staff at Orchard Pointe is top notch! My 93 year old mother needed rehab and they were great! After a week she had a massive stroke, it was evident that she would not be recovering. the staff was so supportive and took such great care of her. There were respectful to her and to us the whole time. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who is looking for elder care.

Not only is Orchard Pointe a beautiful campus and home for senior residents, the organization is also a shining example of supportive community members. As the Programming & Marketing Director at the Community Learning Center in Kendallville, Orchard Pointe has provided catered meals for our public events, professional culinary classes at no cost to registrants, and positive involvement in our local business focused events. Executive Director, Haylee Everidge, is always very responsive, accommodating, and caring to the needs of their community. Kendallville is lucky to have the Orchard Pointe team in our town!

This is our third time at Orchard Pointe for rehab for my father. It’s always nice to see the same staff members continuing to work at the facility. The facility is always clean and the staff that work with my father are very nice. Tiffany from social service went out of her way to help us with any insurance questions. The residents and others that do rehab become part of your family. A very nice setting for them to get to know one another easily. So whether you’re there a short time or looking for a permanent place for your loved one. Orchard Pointe stands above the rest.

Orchard Pointe is amazing!! The facility so clean and well kept! They offer so many different amenities that are unique to that facility. My grandpa was there for a rehab stay and was treated just like family. The staff went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and cared for. The meals were INCREDIBLE and family was always welcomed with open arms to join him! Everyone there has a smile on their face, staff and residents alike! I would HIGHLY recommend Orchard Pointe!

Not a safe place to bring your family members. If they can't do things for themselves there's high probability a staff member will cuss them out or insult them. Management tries to sweep it under the rug and ignore it like most things.

After a fall my mom went to Orchard Pointe for rehab. Therapy helped her get stronger. It wasn't only therapy but the smiling helpful staff, delicious meals, and socialization. We choose assisted living @ Orchard Pointe for my mother after experiencing the amazing progress she made in such a short period of time. She enjoys the staff, meals, and social events. She has made friends with the staff and residents. I highly recommend Orchard Pointe.

When I first walked into the building I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere! When my aunt was staying here the staff was so amazing to her! The sweet ladies in the activity department always pulled her in to do crafts, games, eat snacks, and even watch movies! The nursing staff was great! But the activity girls rock! My aunt has a history of depression and when she was staying at Orchard Pointe, I had never seen her so happy to be alive! I’d give 100 stars if I could! If I had to recommend a place for someone to live it’d be here!

I was impressed from the moment I walked through the doors. The building is beautiful, clean, and has a pleasant aroma. The residents all looked happy and interacted with the staff like they were old friends. Staff was not only friendly but eager to be a help.

My partner has been in Memory Care for 2 months at Orchard Pointe. I am grateful for the good care and especially the time , patience and personal interaction the Memory care staff has with her. Everyone I have met and had interaction with at the HC facility were professional and very supportive. The "caregivers" in the memory care unit deserve special notice as I have witness from my interaction with them and their willingness to support my partner and my many questions. Kudos go out to Amanda, who I see often as well as Haley and Lori. All of the Memory care support team do a great job , Kudos to the whole team. I am glad we chose Orchard Pointe, HC

The chef prepared meal for today’s (01/15/2025) Senior Executive Club meeting was superb!! I don’t always eat a lot & I ate every single bite of that meal. Don’t let that chef go! Do whatever you must to keep him on staff!!

Our family was very pleased with this facility’s they to wonderful care and service to our family member that live there in assisted living. The staff, nurses, house keeping, were all wonderful. The meals were also wonderful for our family member and we enjoyed a meal or two with them. They were very concerned about our family member in her final days. If we could give more stars then a five we would give them a 10 plus.

Somewhat ok, therapy was a joke!! Nursing staff ok for most part, few of the night staff was no good but was taken care of by sending them to different area of the building. Daytime & Evening & night crew was ok after that

I've been here for about two years. I started out in rehab and transferred over to the assisted living staff on both sides are very kind and willing to help. If I can't be at home this is where I wanna be. The building is always clean and doesn't smell.

Our Mom was a resident for 1 1/2 years in the assisted living wing. I can’t say enough about the entire staff at Orchard Pointe. They strive to make sure the residents get an at home feel and at the same time they create their own little bonus family. One of the first things I noticed was every staff member including all the behind the scenes staff in laundry, housekeeping, and the kitchen knew my Mom’s name. That makes the resident and their family feel at ease and welcomed. They strive to bring them different activities to keep them involved no matter what their challenges may be. The nurses and the techs are so very kind and took the time to know her. Our Mom would look forward to getting to know everyone from her care team and her neighbors. We experienced all levels of care from rehab, skilled nursing, and assisted living. They were always professional yet with a personal touch. The facility is modern and is kept updated and quite beautiful with all of their courtyards that are full of flowers and plants that creates a calming atmosphere. I would highly recommend Orchard Pointe to anyone looking for care for their loved one no matter what level of care you may need. Our family became part of their extended family.

My dad moved to Orchard Pointe a month ago after a hip fracture. I can honestly say, he is living his best life ever. He started out depressed and discouraged but the staff got him out of his room and living again. I strongly recommend!

My mom was at Harrison Springs for a few weeks . Most of the staff was very sweet . I would say they really aren’t equipped on the rehab side to take care of someone with dementia They really do require a lot more attention and sometimes needs are not met .I would absolutely recommend this rehab to anyone just not for a dementia patient . .

I didn't realize how disappointing my mother's experience at this facility was until her recent involvement with Sacred Heart. I am absolutely blown away by the compassion and dedication of their social worker, Selena. I couldn't recommend Sacred Heart enough.
