Compassionate, Dignified, and Exceptional End-of-Life Care Words cannot fully express how grateful our family is for the incredible care our loved one received at Regency Care Center. During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the staff went above and beyond to provide not only excellent medical attention but also deep compassion, respect, and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were met with kindness and understanding. The nurses, aides, and support staff treated our loved one with the utmost dignity, making sure they were comfortable, pain-free, and never alone. Their presence brought peace to both our loved one and our entire family. What truly stood out was the genuine love and empathy shown by everyone—from the caregivers who gently held their hand, to the hospice team who explained everything with patience and clarity, to the chaplain who offered emotional and spiritual support. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and it made all the difference. The facility itself was clean, quiet, and calming—creating a serene environment that allowed us to focus on spending meaningful moments together. We never felt rushed or overlooked; instead, we felt embraced and supported through every step. My husband passed away with dignity and grace, surrounded by warmth and care, and we owe that to the incredible team at Regency Care Center. We will forever be thankful for the compassion they showed us during this tender time.

From day one, I felt welcomed and valued as a team member. The leadership team is approachable, transparent, and genuinely invested in the growth and well-being of employees. The workplace culture is positive, inclusive, and team-oriented. There’s a real sense of collaboration, and everyone is encouraged to share ideas and contribute to the company’s success. Management recognizes hard work and regularly celebrates achievements, both big and small. One of the things I appreciate most is the focus on professional development. There are plenty of opportunities for learning, whether through on-the-job training, mentorship, or continuing education support. I’ve grown so much in my role thanks to the guidance and support of my colleagues and supervisors. The work-life balance is also a major plus. Worked her for almost a year and the people are great, not everyone does there job right but we all pich in as a team and help one another. Every one is so friendly to the residents and staff. Don't forget to smile.

Travel CNA. So I like to make reviews good or bad.. My first thought when I walked in was, wow it smells ..bad. But the aides and nurses were very kind so first impression is the best. The patients are sweet and not a bad work load If there is team work..which there was.. thank God. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is bc it's dirty... no housekeeping in site which is to bad bc it's a cute place. ALSO seems ln house not happy with upper management Paula was talked about a lot and the DON not sure if thats the same person.. so that's not good and that probably explains their high turn over rate, 90% were travel staff. Upper management needs to remember that your lower deck people keep the wheels turning so appreciate what you have, nursing homes nationwide and in iowa are shutting down due to low staffing.

Not impressed after mother there for 2 weeks. Lack of communication among staff. Rooms not cleaned regularly. She's been there 2 weeks and 1 shower. Missed Dr. appointment because they failed to make transportation arrangements after being told and reminded at least two times. Medications took 2 weeks to get correct and that was after having to talk to Director of Nursing. Appears to be short staffed. Meals poor quality. PT and OT doing good
