Not enough staff, those who are there can't possibly attend to patients needs. Upstairs cleaning person rather talk with female staff members then do his job.Some staff really cared and were wonderful. This was a few years back, my sister passed there. Not recommended at all.

I am pleased to share a positive experience with Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, where my grandmother spent two weeks for physical therapy following a seizure. Initially hesitant due to the many negative reviews, we had limited options as other nursing homes were full. Despite our reservations, the experience at Cold Spring Hills turned out to be unexpectedly positive. Upon entering, the front desk staff impressed us with their politeness and efficiency in helping us get to our grandmother's room. To our delight, our grandmother was assigned a private room, a pleasant surprise compared to shared rooms in other rehabilitation centers we have dealt with in the past. The room itself was not only spacious, boasting its own bathroom, but was also impeccably clean. The staff at Cold Spring Hills demonstrated exceptional dedication to their duties, ensuring that my grandmother received the assistance she needed. The quality of physical therapy provided was noteworthy, contributing positively to her recovery. What truly stood out was the staff's unwavering helpfulness and welcoming demeanor, even during our late-night visits. Our initial concerns were quickly dispelled by the excellent care and service we encountered at Cold Spring Hills. The facility not only met but exceeded our expectations, providing a comfortable and supportive environment for our grandmother's rehabilitation. I highly commend the staff for their professionalism and commitment to ensuring a positive experience for both residents and their families.

I stayed at Cold Spring Hills to rehab a broken ankle. I could not put any weight on my ankle when I arrived. I was in a bad situation because my apartment is on the second floor and I have 11 steps to climb. The staff at Cold Spring Hills nursed me back to health. The PT and OT staff worked with me to gain strength so I could get back to my apartment and back to work. The staff on Norwich Floor 1, was caring and treated me with kindness and made sure I was safe at all times. I got a clean bill of health from my Orthopedist, so now I can go home. I cannot state enough how impressed I was with the staff at Cold Spring Hills. I recommend Cold Spring Hills to anyone looking for a Nursing Home or a Rehabilitation Center.

This was my first time visiting Cold Spring Hills Center for Rehab. I was pleasantly greeted at the reception desk. Check-in was quick and easy on the kiosk where my temperature and a photo were taken. A name tag was printed out and the receptionist directed me to the proper elevator. The halls were noticeably clean and did not have any smells. When I arrived on the proper floor, I was greeted by employees who were friendly and caring. I brought some homemade soup for the patient and was told there were no public microwaves in which to heat it in. One of the lovely nurses was able to get it heated up. The patient's room was clean and had a nice television with many station choices. He looked well cared for and complimented the staff.

This nursing home has had publicity lately due to terrible owners who are almost going to be replaced. The staff here is exceptionally caring and competent..one particular lady named Carol at Woodcrest 2 is simply a angel to my mom...ALL nursing homes have issues but the staff is key...this place is wonderful...

I went to visit my father to Cold spring hills nursing center I was pleasantly surprised he had his own room with a brand new air conditioner in a brand new flat screen TV the staff was friendly and attentive this was my first visit and to be honest I expected much worse I was pleasantly surprised I'm happy my family member chose Cold spring hills nursing center for my fath

The staff gets 5 stars. The management negative 10 stars. The owners should be ashamed of embezzling money and leaving the workers without his health insurance or pension benefits. These workers are doing their best to treat all the patients in s kind and humane way. They should be paid double!

I went to visit today and was treated with nothing but respect. Everyone seemed nice and the staff seemed really happy. I especially want to mention Michael, the Director of Rehab, who assisted me during my visit with what I needed. Thank you so much!
