The sounds from your leaf blower are way out of hand. Not to mention the noxious gas that flows up to all of the apartment buildings around. I'm asking as a neighbor for you to sweep the dirt instead of blow it around. It doesn't take any longer to sweep, then it does to drag the large leaf blower around everywhere. Trust me, people can use the exercise. This is what's wrong with us nowadays. Leaf blowers are bad for the environment, and they are bad for the neighborhood. Reconsider.

I have to comment on the review that made disparaging comments about the lovely woman who runs the front desk at Windsor Place. C. always has a smile and a friendly greeting every time I go there to visit my mom. I appreciate the care she takes with her personal appearance and the care she takes with staff, patients and visitors. It sounds as if you had an emotional and frustrating day. I get it. We’ve all been there. I think we can agree, however, that the world would be a better place if we could all give each other some grace.

I was in the Commons for rehab Nov 2022. I could not understand why the nursing staff allowed my medications to run out, prior to contacting the doctor for a refill. The CNA handled me roughly, insisted that I take a shower, though my surgeon had not cleared me to do so, kept touching my personal items without permission. I must express my concern for so much turnover of staff. There is obviously a problem with Administration and staff, a lack of training and communication in working together as a team. The residents/patients pay the price for their incompetence. Please shop around prior to going their for yourself or your love-one. My therapy team was very good. The social worker was very inexperienced and delayed my discharge.

I do not understand how a CNA at this rehab center can be so unemphathic to a patient. The CNA on 1st floor duty the night of April 18th, actually told my mom " you are not priority" all my mom needed was help to be put into the bed from the wheelchair. My Mom is helpless right now. She cannot stand on her own. My understanding is ALL PATIENTS are your priority. I am very disappointed in our Healthcare system. Our elderly need us and they need to be respected and cared for. If you cannot handle the responsibility of being a CNA then find another career.

My mom loves OLT and they are so good to her/us. It’s a family atmosphere that I just didn’t get from some other places we looked at. I would highly recommend the Lutheran Towers for your loved one.

My parents have been very happy there!
July 2023
Lovely facility with well-trained staff. Orlando Lutheran Towers (OLT) is operates as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (state regulated "care for life"). Residents of The Fountains, the Independent Living tower, say they're happy and getting good value for their hefty up-front and monthly fees. The current Nursing and Assisted Living programs are undergoing an uneasy transition as OLT prepares to close its Commons nursing building and move those residents into the Windsor Place building. A spiffy new Independent Living tower will eventually go up on that land. OLT's new Vibrant Living program, a first in Central Florida, is now bringing the facility's care staff to the homes of 55+ residents.

My mom was in rehab room 121 for over a month on the second floor at 210 Lake Park location. I must say I was scared at first not knowing if she will be okay, That first night was rough but nurse Ben made me feel so comfortable letting me know she is going to be ok and re assuring me that mom will be taken care of. That first night he made me realize she is in good hands ...... Thank you BEN ( keep up the great work you're awesome!!!!). Our experience there was beyond great. The room was clean always. she was taken care her needs was met they treated her like their mom. I must say they nurses and CNA's are great. Nurses that took care of mom Ben, Troy, Sheena, CNA that also took care of mom Sarah, Marie, Rose (fill in one night from another floor) and a few others I cant remember their names, also the therapist and doctors they were beyond great and mom had additional kids :). If you can have more nurses and CNA like the ones on the second floor it will be awesome. I have a new family and blessed to have found a great rehab with great staff. The admin office staff was great. Ms. Ordell Reid made things so easy for me. I will recommend this facility to any one any day. The only down fall was the food. The meal was horrible many days mom did not eat the looks of it would turn you off. I think they need to get someone who take pride in what they are doing and cooking. Those patience are all human and deserve a nice tasty meal and looks good to eat. I took food for mom most and I mean most of the days. You need to take a closer look at the chef and re evaluate that. Service can vegetables is not good, all the vegetables was from a can. Please take pride if the food you are serving the patient. If that was me I would be a shame to serve the food. Even when they put the food on the tray it's on there as if they don't care. Please that's all I think that need to change is the chef and they meals the prepare for those patients. Our over all experience was great we were treated like family. Once mom was happy I was happy. 🙂 she is my pride and joy and my life line. We thank all of you ! many blessings. I will have to visit my Orlando Lutheran Towers 210 Lake Park family one day. I miss you guys Ben, Troy, Sheena , Sarah, Marie............... !!!!!! Keep up the great work .......!! Please re evaluate the kitchen chef and the food you serve !!! Again the Nurses & CNA's the best !!!!

My mom has been a resident of the Lutheran Towers for nine years now, and it has been such a great place for her. The location is ideal - right in the middle of downtown Orlando, just two blocks from iconic Lake Eola. But the best thing about it is the Towers' commitment to its residents. Their pledge to care for your loved ones is one they take to heart. It gives us a great sense of comfort knowing mom will live out her years in a place that's committed to the quality of life of its residents.

Downgrading from several large homes and 'stuff' from 53 years of marriage to a one-bedroom apt. at OLT should have been a scary proposition, but it was actually fun for us. Our son Rob had picked out the apt., flooring, paint etc. and OLT had arranged for all our new furniture to be moved there. So when we walked in - for the first time! - to our brand new home on a high floor with an incredible view thru the wall-to-wall and up-to-the-ceiling windows, we knew at that point we had made the right decision. Some things we love here at OLT: our onsite PC doctor an elevator away; blood draws and x-rays done in our apt.; the maintenance crew (you call, they come); the drivers (hate going to doctors? these friendly, funny guys will put a smile on your face);the front desk staff and servers (friendly and helpful); the residents (always smiling and saying "hello"). But the BEST (drumroll please) - the FOOD! Especially the coconut fried shrimp and ANY dessert. HAIL TO THE CHEF!

My Father and Step Mother moved to The Orlando Lutheran Towers over a decade ago. It was obvious they had made the BEST choice for their well-being both health wise and socially. Father's blood pressure dropped 10 points immediately as they found friends and made many more participating in many of the numerous in-house activities and bus trips to various venues in the area. They are both positive about every aspect of living there. My sister and I have always enjoyed visiting the Towers - the residents and staff are so friendly. The property is spacious and well kept making for welcoming and relaxing visits. We all like to walk around Lake Eola and enjoy the beautiful downtown area together! When Covid-19 hit, Dad informed us of the precautions that were taken to keep everyone safe. We are all so very happy they have a great home to enjoy their senior years!!

This September 28, 2021 my mom will celebrate her eighteenth year since her move to OLT in 2003. Yes! 18 years of happy living in a friendly active retirement community. With Gods help and OLT she will be celebrating her 100th birthday in December. Ruth Balfe Apt 1717

This classic church has endured the test of time. It's dedicated staff maintaining the surroundings clean. As they get the landscape ready with help of some girls scouts. The peace full time I spent taking photos outside was well worth it.

My Mother is in Common Building with Hospice. What absolutely amazing Nurses and Staff. Her Doctor was really great too! I mean everyone working there I have had contact with including *Security and Cleaning Staff have been so kind. *(We do appreciate knowing it's a safe place too). The care she has been given has been wonderful. Our Family appreciates this more than you know. It's a difficult time and knowing her care is in good hands means a lot. Thank You and God Bless.

A good Rehab and Nursing home. My Mom had a hip fracture and has slowly improved. Like any other facility, daily visits from family make sure your loved one gets excellent care. You can’t leave your Parent and go on with your life visiting on Sunday. Most staff are well trained and like what they do, and that’s the point, finding a place with overall good, positive giving staff. They seem to hire well here. Good location and parking for visits. Excellent admin staff. Good food and activities. Clean !!

Wouldn't send a relative here for any reason - this is more like a Medicaid nursing home than 4 star rehab. Our loved one was there less than an hour before we rescued him. The staff we met were friendly but the facility is old, dangerous and only 3 staff members on duty at night for 50-60 beds. I've had many relatives in facilities over the years. This is the only one so far that brought me to tears.
