I moved my mother-in-law, Martha, from another facility because I did not like what was happening there. Pacifica was the opposite! Kelly, who runs the facility, is a kind Christian woman, and you can tell. She treats her staff & the residents with respect & professionalism. The staff reflected Kelly's leadership & were very patient and kind as well. I saw none of the problems the other senior memory care had. The staff dropped what they were doing to accommodate me when I came to pick up Martha. In 2-1/2 months, there were no incidents of injuries, falls or hospitalization compared to repeated falls & injuries and 3 unnecessary hospital visits at the other facility in the same amount of time. You never know what happens when someone is in memory care & you are left to rely on the staff alone to treat your loved-one with care. I can give my highest recommendation to Pacifica & Kelly for taking excellent care of Martha! Thank you, Pacifica.

Placing a loved one in an assisted living facility is difficult time for the entire family. The staff at Pacifica has made this transition easier. Everyone including the residents are very friendly, you feel so welcome the minute you enter their doors. So happy we chose Pacifica and I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe friendly home for their family.

We moved my mother from her previous memory care facility in San Diego to the memory care facility at Pacifica Senior Living in Bakersfield about 6 months ago. The team at Pacifica made the transition easy and could not have been more helpful. Pacifica has unbelievable staff on all levels, from the reception desk in the assisted care building to all of the staff in the memory care unit. When I call, I am immediately transferred to an individual or am able to leave a message with a swift call back. As for her care, we are grateful and happy with how my mother is being taken care of. The staff take extreme care with not only my mother but with all the residents. They know each resident’s likes and dislikes and take care to cater to their individual personalities. My mother is thriving there and is extremely happy. I have never in our 5 years of having my mother in memory care ever seen her look better. She is clean and they take extreme care with keeping her skin in excellent shape, which is extremely important. The layout of the facility is homey with the dining area separate from the living room and activity areas. The facility and the rooms themselves are clean and taken care of. It is truly a homelike atmosphere all the while providing excellent care and treatment of all residents. Cassondra Bradford Executive Director, Alley Foster Community Relations Director and the Resident Care Director Irma Luna (for my mother in memory care) are not only professional but treat every resident and family members like family. My Mother and Father-in-law were residence in this wonderful care facility. They truly had the best of care and were treated with the highest quality of respect anyone could ever hope for. Most importantly they were very happy here. The staff is top notch. I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living to anyone considering this type of special care for their loved one.

Pacifica has such a wonderful and caring staff. My mother-in-law was so happy there and they treated her like their own family. During her final days, we were overwhelmed with how much they did to make her comfortable. This is best facility for senior living in Bakersfield.

The decision to move a loved one into memory care is very hard. Finding the right place takes time, but when you find the right place you know it. We found the right fit at Pacifica Senior Living. The staff are amazing! They truly care about the residents and their needs. We could not be happier with the positive changes in our grandma, she is happy and enjoying the many activities and the great food. I am very happy with Pacifica Senior Living in Bakersfield. My father was a resident there for the last two years of his life (passing at 96) and the entire staff went out of their way to make his time there comfortable and meaningful. From Irma the nurse to Kelly and the rest of the team they took the time to keep him and all the residents safe and engaged. It’s not an easy business to run or do well but Pacifica was up to the task. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you again.

I can't begin to express my appreciation for this organization. As a community partner, they have been supportive of many community events, and causes that impact seniors in Kern County. After visiting several Senior care homes in the area my family felt immediately comfortably with the environment at Pacifica. I know my mother is getting the very best care. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Pacifica is a very homey environment with lots of activities and fun events.

My father entered Pacifica Bakersfield in early January 2015. He spent approximately four and a half months there before he past. It wasn't the easiest task to encourage him that this was the best opportunity for him at his stage in life at the time. But from the beginning at our first meeting with Ailey and other staff we were convinced this was the right thing to do. Everything that Ailey and Pacifica had promised was delivered. From the time my father entered until his death the staff made him feel that he was their family. I have non stopped recommending Pacifica Bakersfield, you are by far the best!

Pacifica Senior Living is a wonderful community facility for your loved ones needing more care than you can provide at home. They have concerned, caring staff, lots of fun activities like participating in the Senior Games and other community functions. The staff is very involved in the entire senior community. They participate in health fairs, The Alzheimer's Disease Association of Kern County, the Kern County Aging and Adult Services Elder Abuse Conference, and The Commission on Aging Senior Celebration. I would encourage anyone looking for a placement to visit this clean, efficient facility. And don't forget to treat yourself to the delicious chocolate chip cookies!
