After a bad stroke, I have been at Brandywine Princeton for the past 3 years. The rehab therapists are fantastic with a small gym well equipped in all sort of tools and machines. Since I wanted to play bridge again, I started the BBC (Brandywine Bridge club) with Jean, Jim, and Jo (and support from the activities team). Jean is our poster child, since she learnt to play Bridge here and now plays quite well! But we need more players. If you play or have played, please come to play with us: It is more fun than on the computer. If you are just curious or interested, we will teach you! Let's have fun together!

My mom has been at Brandywine Princeton for about a month and she has thrived living there. The rooms and accommodations are among the best I've seen (and we looked at a lot of places before choosing Brandywine), the staff is incredible (friendly, kind, helpful), and the programming they offer is beyond anything I imagined. If you are a child searching for a place for your parent, this is where you will find the most peace of mind. Everyone is well-trained and helpful. My mom has been more socially active in the last month than she was in the last three years living alone. I think that socialization, combined with the wide-range of learning and social programs offered, has given her back her joy. Before, she was alone for most of the day, not eating properly, and having trouble managing her medication. Now, she has friends who check on her every day, she is eating three meals a day, and she still also has the autonomy to choose what she wants to do. This move has made our relationship better--I can now visit my mom and enjoy being with her without worrying about whether or not she's taken care of. I know that she is safe, looked after, and happy. Kudos to Kelly, Leslie, Stephanie, Mae, the nursing staff, the front desk staff, the dining hall staff and the aides who come to work ready and willing to help and bring daily happiness to the people who most need it.

My 97 year old mother has been a resident here for approx one year. She has been happy here due to the caring and compassionate nature of leadership, especially with the certified medical assistants that care for here. She is not as mobile as previously (needs wheelchair mostly) but is included in morning exercise daily, music and entertainment programs. The latter was difficult for me to provide for her at my home when she lived with me. She has time for naps midday which help her maintain her stamina for later in the day. There is PT, OT, and speech therapy programs that she participated in for first 3-6 mos. There is a podiatrist that visits every 10 weeks along with physicians associated with facility. Additionally there is an excellent optional hair stylist. There are concierge services at front desk that are friendly and helpful. Other programs include movies with a movie theatre on premises, birthday celebrations, clubs, and day trips to local venues. Housekeeping is included ,including weekly laundry services. This is a dynamic and vibrant community that I am glad she is a part of!

Us, at GA Lourdes Senior Care respect and acknowledge the hard work that each of Brandywine's staff has. I can say that this place is truly special, a gem in Princeton area. I've had the privilege and honor of treating the residents here at Brandywine as their Occupational Therapist. It is such a joy to be part of their lives and to see each and everyone of the residents thrive and maintain their independence. The Rehabilitation Center works closely with administration and the clinical staff to ensure their overall well being. Everyone here is so pleasant and supports one another. I love this community!

I want to start this review by saying that I feel like I am a pretty objective voice as I do not have any family or friends residing at this community. I am a performer who frequently visits this community as well as many others across both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. That being said, Brandywine Princeton is consistently one of my very favorite places to visit. The property is always so clean and Stephanie and her team see to it that the activities schedule is chock full of fun, stimulating events designed to ensure that the residents are never bored! What particularly resonates with me every time I'm there is how committed and engaged the staff is with the residents! The level of genuine respect and care the staff employs with them is extraordinary. I have gotten to know quite a few residents on a first name basis and I can tell you my observations are solid because when I speak with them they truly feel happy, safe and comfortable in their environment.

My mom has been living at Brandywine for almost a year. She and I agree that Brandywine is excellent when it comes down to the most important things. 1) My mom is safe. 2)The staff is very attentive and obliging. My mom has favorites with whom she interacts regularly, but will not specify who they are because she says everyone who works there is good. 3) In addition to the general staff, the administrators in the building also genuinely care about the residents, and engage with them regularly. They are easy to reach, and will listen and immediately respond to any questions or concerns that I may have.

We are immensely grateful to Brandywine Living at Princeton for the exceptional care they provided to my father-in-law during his time at the community. Under the attentive care of Wellness Director, Mae Limuaco, and her dedicated team of nurses and aides, he received the utmost attention and support. When the difficult decision to transition him to Hospice care arose, the staff demonstrated unwavering empathy, support, and compassion, which greatly aided our family during this challenging time.

My mother has been at Brandywine Living at Princeton for over three years now and loves it! She has a large Studio on the 3rd floor with a private bathroom, three big windows, and has individually controlled heat and A/C. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is but let me confine it to one area. The Activities Department is nothing less than spectacular! And when you live in a place like this, you need a great Activities Director and staff and an incredible variety of activities to pick from. I'm not talking about the normal things like Bingo, concerts, or movie nights, but things like bus trips to a famous hot dog stand for lunch and sitting by a river to watch the scenery. Also, an incredible arts & crafts program where wall hangings, decorative plates, stuffed animals, and the like are made. Cool activities are also done such as music videos choreographed and recorded, which are then shared on-line, and contests held with other assisted living facilities for "best of" awards. I could go on-and-on about the many the other activities Brandywine Princeton offers! Being Mom's eldest son and her "responsible party", I want her to be active, happy, and with other people in her Senior years. Participating in a robust activities program is key to achieving that goal. Another important area is food! Probably the worse job on the planet is cooking at an Assisted Living facility. You can't cook with too much salt because of restricted diets; sugar is limited because of diabetes; the meat will always be tough because of dentures; and overall, food will either be too spicy, or have no flavor because of a dulled taste pallet. Plus, the Chef will never be able to make a dish like the resident "use to make it themselves." It's called Euphoric Recall. But overall, Mom is very pleased with the food at Brandywine at Princeton. And I'm pleased too - I wish I ate half as good. I like the variety of food that is offered. Plus, they can have seconds if desired. Overall, the facility is very clean and well maintained. It has lots of beautiful greenery in the public spaces with real plants and flowers. The staff and management are helpful and friendly. Overall, the facility has a nice home-like feel to it. My family and I couldn't be happier that things worked out so well for Mom at Brandywine Living at Princeton.

My Dad recently transferred to Brandywine Living, Princeton from another facility. This transfer was based on his increasing physical needs and our desire to have him closer to us. My Dad turned 99 years old in September while a new resident at Brandywine. My family is so grateful to all the wonderful individuals at Brandywine, including the exceptional Leslie Yngojo-Bowes and caregiver Cherry! My Dad has never been so well cared for, loving the food, facility and of course, Cherry! Mae, Kelly and the nursing, dietary, concierge, facility, housekeeping, Physical Therapists and all at Brandywine has changed all of our lives for the better. I cannot give a better rating than exceptional! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Recently my sister and I needed to make the difficult decision to have our parents move to an assisted living home. We looked at many places in both Pennsylvania and NJ. Once we visited Brandywine at Princeton, we knew this was the place for them. Everyone there are just exceptional at their job. Leslie Ynogjo-Bowes gave us a wonderful tour of the facility and as she showed us around she spoke to many of the residents. It was clear she knew everyone's name and they were so friendly to us as well. They looked so happy and we got such a warm feeling about the residents and all the staff. Leslie was open to all our questions and we could see how sympathetic she was to our situation. We felt so comfortable with her and we knew our parents would be taken care of and we were no longer concerned about them being home alone. We knew they would be well taken care of. There are so many staff members at Brandywine who are so wonderful to our parents and we really appreciate them. Mae Limusco, Director of Wellness, is on top of our parents health needs. Nardia and all the nurses are wonderful to my parents. They are so gentle and caring with our parents and you can see they want what's best for them. There's Kelly also who is there when we visit and helps however she can. We can't say enough about ALL the staff at Brandywine and we truly are thankful they are watching over both my Mom and Dad. We are so happy we chose Brandywine at Princeton.

We recently moved our dad to Brandywine at Princeton from another facility. It has been a wonderful experience for us all! Every activity seems to have lots of participants, as well as staff to help out, and encouragement to join in. We get regular emails from Stephanie (our activity director) with pictures and a note about dad. He has been so engaged and happy, and we are consistently impressed with the new things dad has tried and discovered he enjoyed. Dad's new friends are very welcoming and thoughtful. We can't say enough about this experience and how happy and grateful we are. Our only regret is that we didn't know about Brandywine at Princeton sooner.

Where do I start! Brandywine and their staff are exceptional in every way. We were in a rough place having to find an assisted living community for my mother and father in NJ quickly. My mother was in a rehab facility and needed to leave as soon as possible. She is 96 and would not be able to live at home any longer as she needed day to day care. My father at 93 was not able to care for her any longer at home. So, our decision to move them both to an assisted living community and sell their house became a high priority. Enter Leslie Ynogjo-Bowes! From our first meeting I knew that she was a caring and empathetic person who TRULY LOVED her job. While on our tour I was struck by how she knew all the residents names and greeted them all with a warm smile and a hello! I did not witness that at other communities we looked at. She explained the type of care my parents would receive 24/7, the many social activities, and was up front about the costs. Since we made our decision she has become indispensible to our parents and us! She communicates all the time with texts and phone calls. She followed up with the many doctors my parents have in PA to be sure they received all their medical records. Leslie then worked to help us make by father's move, 2 months after my mother, go just as smoothly as my mothers. He felt at ease right away. These situations can be so stressful for family members, but Brandywine eased that stress. I love walking in and seeing all the residents sooooo happy!!!!. Mae Limusco, Director of Wellness, is another staff member who is so indispensible to us. She is on top of both my parents medical care and communicates with us regularly about any changes in their care and needs. You can also tell how much she loves her job. She's always willing to stop what she's doing when I stop by her office unannounced to chat and answer any questions I have. Nardia and her nursing staff are caring and patient! Keeping track of all the residents and their medical needs must be daunting, but they handle it with such empathy. They are always smiling and interact with the residents whether in their office or just in the hallway! They are our nursing angels! They have so many fun social activites, the food is amazing and there's always a wide variety of choices. My parents apartment is always clean when I go visit, they have enough towels, and their laundry is done quickly. The grounds are impeccable and we can't wait to see the finish product of the new rennovations that are taking place. As this was the most difficult decision to make for our parents in this stage of their lives, it has been so meaningful to have Brandywine and their staff walking besides us.

In times of unexpected challenges, it's rare to find a place that goes above and beyond to lend a helping hand. We want to express our profound gratitude to Brandywine Living at Princeton for stepping in when our world suddenly turned upside down. When our mom was left in a vulnerable situation due to the abrupt shutdown of her previous facility, we were filled with anxiety and concern. She was sent without our authorization to another facility that was over an hour away in heartbreaking conditions. By some miracle we were put in touch with Leslie Yngojo-Bowes, Director of Community Relations, Mae Limusco, Director of Wellness and later with Sharon Moore, the Executive Director who became our ray of hope. Not only did they open their doors when our family was in crisis, but they also demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to ensuring our mom's comfort, happiness and well-being. To detail the outstanding efforts of Leslie, Mae and Sharon would take more than we could possibly express in this review. From the beginning, they have gone above and beyond to make this transition as smooth as possible. Leslie specifically had taken the initiative to manage the process end-to-end from contacting the temporary facility mom was housed with to ensure all necessary files and information were transferred seamlessly, to keeping us constantly up to date with where we were in the process. She was amazing to work with. Even today weeks after the move, she continues to be a source of reassurance by sending us occasional pictures and updates on our mom. Her dedication to our family's peace of mind has been nothing short of remarkable. We would be remised not to highlight Mae's efforts which deserves special recognition. Her thorough assessment of our mom ensured that she finally received the precise level of care she needed. We never felt she was just another resident but was treated as an individual and her unique needs were met with utmost care and attention. Mae kept us posted on her progress and brought to our attention certain issues that were never mentioned to us in previous centers. This level of personalization is what truly sets Brandywine Living at Princeton apart. In just a few short weeks, we've witnessed a remarkable transformation in our mom's emotional well-being. Her journey is nothing short of astounding. At Brandywine Living at Princeton, she is a thriving, cherished member of a loving community. We personally witnessed and spoken to various residents who share with us how much they love Brandywine. The caring staff and supportive environment have created a home where she feels valued, safe and content. Speaking of safety, this is of course always a top priority when entrusting a loved one to someone else for their care. What we saw first-hand was the exceptional care of the nursing staff and aids who took time to really interact with the residents. They knew their likes and dislikes, and constantly engaged positively with everyone in their care. This has provided us with tremendous peace of mind. This is not just another place with a pretty brochure, they absolutely practice what they preach and are dedicated to the well-being of their residents. For those that are looking for a place for yourself or your loved ones, we know how difficult the decision is, and implore you to look no further. You will not go wrong with this place. It is a place where residents really receive top-notch care. Brandywine has exceeded my expectations in every way. To Brandywine Living at Princeton and your exceptional team, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your dedication to our family's needs and your genuine concern for our mom's happiness have touched our hearts profoundly. You've shown us in the toughest of times, there are still places of compassion and kindness. We are forever thankful.

I would give Brandywine 10 stars! I cannot say enough about my Mom's experience there. I looked at many facilities and mentioned to a friend that I thought Brandywine was the best place for my Mom. My friend happened to know someone whose Mom lived at Brandywine and connected me with her. She highly recommended Brandywine and told me that her Mother lived there for eight years before going to a nursing home. She shared many stories that convinced me I was making the right choice. There is not a week that goes by that my Mother does not thank us for choosing Brandywine. She is extremely happy and well taken care of. EVERY person that I have met has been so gracious to my Mom and has provided her incredible personal care. From the chef who knows her favorite breakfast and has it ready in the morning to the night aide that helped my Mom reorganize her cupboards when my Mom couldn't sleep. The medical care team is on top of my Moms needs and quickly informs us of any changes. When my Mom arrived she was independent and did not need any help but that has changed and they have gone above and beyond to care for her. I have so much peace knowing she is at Brandywine and would highly recommend it!!

I'm a musician that regularly plays music in a wide variety of seniors communities throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Brandywine Living at Princeton is a very special place. Stephanie and her crew always create an exciting atmosphere for her Mardi Gras parties, with hats, masks, beads, room decorations, Louisiana food, the whole staff are wonderful, keeping residents engaged and the party is for real (staff are having fun, too). All of the residents are smiling and having a great time! I'm smiling and having a great time, too. Bravo!!

The facility is lovely with many fine amenities. My major complaint is with staff. Just this past week, on two occasions in the late afternoon, my loved one who is a resident, and I encountered a rude and unresponsive aide. My loved one has had an ongoing issue with not being able to receive minimal assistance when requested in a timely ( less than 30 minutes) manner. This particular staff person, among others, shows very little concern and care and is short in her responses. I am not using the name of my loved one because they fear retaliation from the staff. The staff instead complains about the residents and any efforts we make to ask for better care. For what we pay, this is unaccepatable. I know they are challenged to maintain full staffing, but this type of care is not what is needed. It appears the aides run the facility...

My dad began living here this summer and we have had a great experience. The food is fantastic and the staff is very pleasant and accommodating, especially during the acclimation process. I can't say enough good things about this place. The morning exercise program is really excellent at keeping my dad flexible and the facility activities keep my dad occupied during the weeks I am busier at work. Since the facility is not a on major road, the outside spaces are very quite and relaxing all day long.

Everyone there goes out of their way to greet the residents by name and ask how they're doing whenever they see them walking through the halls. The entire staff, from the management to housekeeping to the dining room and kitchen staff, is courteous, friendly, and welcoming to Dad as well as to my sister and me when we visit every week. The amazing programming director, Stephanie always keeps the residents engaged and she even tailors some of the activities to the personal interests of the residents! Brandywine at Princeton has given Dad a whole new life and has given my sister and me peace of mind! Brandywine at Princeton is a godsend!!
