I love the fact that there are so many activities to keep Mom active and engaged. She enjoys the sing alongs, and entertainers, the crafts, bingo, the social hours, puzzles, Communion services and Mass and so much more! I like that she gets involved in the exercises and stays busy to keep her mind and body active. I also appreciate how the staff steps into helping the residents as needed, even if what is needed isn't specifically their job. The staff calls each resident by name and engages them in conversations. I think that the facility is decorated to give a pleasant and calming atmosphere. The grounds provide sidewalks to go for pleasant walks on nice days and seating outside in shaded areas to enjoy the fresh air. When the weather is not as pleasant to be outdoors, the hallways provide places to walk and lovely common areas to sit and visit.

My aunt has been living at Addington Place in Carroll for three months and is loving it! We are so impressed with the spotless facility and the caring and professional staff. I would highly recommend Addington Place to any family.

I have lived at Addington Place of Carroll for over 7 years - long enough that it feels like home. I've made lots of new friends. All the staff here treat us with compassion and respect. What's NOT to like? I don't have to cook or wash dishes. Housekeeping and laundry are done for us. We have our own beauty salon and fitness room. If family wishes to join you for a meal you can reserve the private dining room. Come and check us out.

Mom has been at Addington since December of 2022. She adjusted quickly to her new home, which I give credit to the kind and caring staff for this smooth transition. The rooms are spacious, and Mom is able to have her own bed, chair and other furniture to make her space feel like home. She enjoys being a part of the many activities that are offered and loves the outings that are offered quite regularly. Any questions or concerns that I have are quickly answered. The staff have become like family, and regardless of their job title, they step up and help when it is needed. Mom loves to get her hair done at the salon (on premises.) The facility is bright and clean, and beautifully decorated, and they have beautiful outdoor areas as well. It is such a great peace of mind to know that Mom is being well taken care of. Thank you, Addington!

The staff at Addington were amazing with my grandparents (both passed away at Addington Place). My grandma had advanced dementia. Even with all the negative behaviors she developed as the disease progressed, the staff there still loved and cared for her as their own, despite the many challenges they faced. Our family was so grateful for their Memory Care that she could transition to more easily as her dementia progressed, without completely moving to another facility. My grandpa always told us "Nothing to complain about. They always take good care of us."

My experience with Addington Place has been a very good experience!! My mom has been there 2 years and has been treated very well. The staff and administration have been so caring and kind to her. I see the staff giving her hugs and talking to her always with love and respect. Mom has some dementia issues, and I feel she has been given the best care. They always take time to check on her and include her in all the activities at Addington Place. There are so many great activities to keep mom busy. She has her hair done once a week by a wonderful beautician who works there a few days a week. I highly recommend Addington Place. They truly love my mom, and I am thankful for the great care that she is receiving at Addington Place.

We moved my mom there in Aug 2023, and immediately we knew we'd made the right decision. Mom was nervous in the beginning, with a new place, but before the end of the week, she thanked us for moving her there. She loves the meals, all the activities and outings, the friendliness of the other residents and staff, and how much the staff really care about everyone. We are thankful for Addington Place and the staff for the kind of care and support they offer, so that we don't have to worry.
