My mom Just got admitted yesterday and I was not impressed at all with the time it took to answer my mom’s call light She had 2 aids and a nurse and not one of them would help help her get salt and pepper or a menu. Another aid came in and asked what was needed and assured me she would be right back with the salt and pepper and my dinner menu. About 5 minutes later she was back with salt and pepper, a few snacks, and a menu. I felt my mom was finally getting the care she needed. The aid sat with my mom and helped her fill out her menu and explained the meal process to her. I want to say her name was Renee, I’m not sure but I was very impressed. Especially after a rough start.

It is beautiful there. They have some exceptional personal then there are a few that need to go. The place is better than the average nursing home. Not a good place for sick or residents that need a lot of assistance.

My brother has been at the willows for the last few months and everytime I visit he’s constantly in Awh about his aid Renee. He said not only is she so compassionate and gentle with the care she provides she sits and talks and actually gets to know him. You do not see this a lot anymore with the younger generation. If everyone in healthcare took the time and effort to care for the elderly like she does nursing homes would not have a bad name. I always feel so comfortable leaving when I see her on.

My husband is currently at The Willows. The compassion and love provided is just like home. I feel blessed to have him safe and happy. There are so many fun things to do. I have also had a few short term stays and am very happy with the campus.

My mom stayed here after a fall while I pulled things together to move her to Louisville. I can’t say enough about these people. Not only were they wonderful to my mom, but they were a friend to me when I desperately needed one.

Communication is NOT their strong suit, which makes for an absolute difficult time to keep things straight with your loved ones. It always seems like nobody quite knows what is going on. They do not make calls when they should. They lose clothing and other things faster than you can keep your loved one supplied. They keep you on the phone waiting 20-30 minutes or may not even return your phone call at all. They move your loved one with no communication at all. The list could go on, unfortunately. The continuous and repetitive cycle on blatant miscommunication or lack of proper communication is disheartening. The facility is kept clean and people are mostly nice, but they need to have someone from the outside come in and work with them on communication strategies and documentation handoffs that would relieve the stress and burden of families having to guess if their loved ones will get the best care or not. If you plan on having your loved one admitted there, stay on top of everything and do not trust their communication process as it does not work.

They righteous facility of five star you see what I rated it I spent four days there and was supposed to say more of it. I’ve signed myself out. The couple of nurses were really great, but the facility really sucks air conditioner knocked all the time waking you up the bed, squeak and mattress was so hard you couldn’t sleep on. I had to get up and sleep in the recliner. Use the call light you had to wait 45 minutes to get them to come in and do anything for you if you need rehabilitation, I would not recommend this place.

Awesome adult care facility, nursing home. Wonderful, caring staff, with plenty of activities to engage residents at every level of mobility. Family members are encouraged & invited to attend many events & monthly brunches (every 3rd Sunday). Good, healthy dining options at every meal.

My grandma recently moved to The Willows, and she absolutely loves it. The care she’s receiving is top-notch, and she’s always telling us how much she enjoys the activities and the friendly staff. It’s a huge relief knowing she’s happy, engaged, and so well cared for. Couldn’t ask for a better place for her!

Our grandmother moved to The Willows about a month ago, and although it was a major life transition for her and our family, the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The care and support she has received from the staff has exceeded all of our expectations. Every single team member”from the nurses to the dining staff to the activities coordinators”has been incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. They’ve made her feel safe, cared for, and genuinely valued. What really stands out is how welcoming they are to our whole family when we visit. We never feel like outsiders”they make us feel right at home every time we walk through the doors. Seeing my grandmother thrive in a warm, friendly, and caring environment has brought us so much peace. We are truly grateful for the amazing people at The Willows who treat her like family.

The willows is a wonderful place that feels like home! We had the best care! The staff are so caring and attentive and treated my family like we were a part of theirs! I never had to worry & that’s huge! And there are so many activities it was hard to keep up! They even have activities that included us too which was so much fun! I can’t say enough how great this place was to us!

My husband and I are so very thankful for the amazing staff at The Willows of Bellevue. My mother in law was in a horrible horrible nursing home in Toledo and the amazing staff here at the Willows helped us move mountains to get her out of there and into the skilled part of the Willows. Thanks to their amazing care my MIL will be moving into one of the Villas here in the next few weeks. It is a comfort to know she has found "home" from now until God calls her home. We look forward to the many years of friendships that have already been established, the care and the comfort of knowing she is safe.

We have nothing but praise for Sara Wilson, the Social Director, Heart and Wizard of the Willows. Always cheerful, optimistic, and helpful to residents and their families, she makes the Willows home for those living there; accommodating the residents' likes and dislikes. She devises resident-pleasing outings and activities. She makes the Bellevue’s Willows the place to live independently in a caring neighborhood for those over 65. She helped my mother, father, and our family countless times with things both big and small. Things like reserving the clubhouse for family gatherings, notifying us when Mom went into the emergency room, and picking up the catered food for my Mom's funeral reception at the last minute when the caterer failed us. 10 stars for Sara and the Villas at the Willows. This is not to say the Willows is perfect. The corporation is often too corporate, insisting on a one-size-fits-all approach to managing the facility. Recent changes make it easier for them but are tone-deaf to the residents and an aging population. Also, excessive rent increases in the last few years have priced people out of the facility.

My mother has been in the Willows for rehab a few times. The staff is always very courteous and knowledgeable. I don't have to worry about her while she's in their care. It gives me great peace of mind.

The staff at the Willows is amazing. They care so much about each individual patient as well as their family. They have wonderful activities for the patients and also things like a community breakfast holiday celebrations and entertainment. It seems like there’s always something going on. They also have wonderful field trips that they take, including visiting a daycare where I’m sure the young students were happy to see them. The life enrichment staff interact with the patients often dancing with them, and singing with them at their weekly happy hour. It warms my heart. Recently, when a patient was admitted to hospice care, I watched as many staff members went to visit that patient and family with tears in their eyes.There was a saying that it takes a village to raise a child.It also takes a village to keep our elderly patients safe and happy. . I am so happy to have the Willows as Our village.

My dad Earl Boyd was at the Villas and loved it there. The staff was very friendly and great answering any and all questions we had. He loved going to the family brunches and met a lot of great people that turned into friends.

My grandpa has loved living at the willows for almost 8 years now. He has been all over and has amazing care. The staff is amazing and just like family to us. Their quarterly family nights where they invite the families in are always great. The food is outstanding and the great grand kids have the best time visiting.

Our mom always said if she ever had to be in a nursing home, it had to be The Willows at Bellevue. So, when she needed a place to stay to help through some things, we contacted The Willows and ... Andrea was our "lifeline" in working through our first few days. She was available, helpful, and kind. Melody talked to Mom and prayed with her which is very important to our family. Tamie accommodated her "home schedule" and guided her through many medical questions. Audrey, with only a quick request, spent time encouraging her. (And my guess is "teamwork kicked in" as others had to cover for Audrey.) Cindy stopped at her door daily with a smile. Tony and Steven patiently waited for her on different occasions. ...then therapy started as Kendall and Shelia made things fun and our list could go on and on... My grandpa lived at The Willows for several years at the end of his life. All the girls still talk about him with emotion and care. They all took better care of him then we could have. They loved him like he was theirs.

My mom, Marilyn, recently spent time in the Willows of Bellevue. She was always busy with their activities such as playing games, listening to music, and crafts. She met a lot of wonderful people, clients and staff. She was treated as a person and not another number. I highly recommend this facility.

Both my mother and father have stayed here for rehabilitation services. Both of my parents were very happy with their care. Everyone is very friendly and is ALWAYS there if you have a question. This facility is efficient and competent in their scope of practice. Not to mention, their food, is amazing! I would really recommend anyone's loved one to this amazing place!!
