My mother is there. So far I'm not impressed. Neglectful, can't even get a direct line to the director of nurses. Nurses don't answer their phones. Missing items like cell phone! Promises not kept.

My mom was here and this place looks pretty good on the outside. When you peel off the layers, you will feel and see the disappointment. There were days I could smell the nasty urine scent in the elevator, dining halls and the resident hallways. One particular annoyance was staff responding to the call button by either completely ignoring it, telling it to shut up while that staff member was trying to serve meals (yelling at pager that was on their person) or going into the room and turning off the call button and just leaving. Who cares if mom has to use the facilities? I personally heard other family members of different patients complain about not getting their refund, having a family member fall and nobody found him for hours (more than once) and shoving patients into dirty dining area so they don't have a call button. I personally witnessed a resident asking to use restroom after she was left in there at 3:30pm and at 5pm the CNA said she didn't need to go, that she took her to the restroom. The patient yelled no you didn't. It was a loud argument until another staff member said she would take her. I reported this to management and it fell on deaf ears. That same staff member rammed a woman in a wheelchair under table and smashed her hand. The woman cried out in pain but no medical assistance was given. The dining area was never once cleaned and it was disgusting on a daily basis. The table was always filthy and CNAs would complain about kitchen staff. My mom couldn't get help to get to restroom so she got up herself, fell and broke ribs. Staff didn't get her any medical care until family stepped in and insisted on it. And then they blamed Mom for not using her call button. There would be excuses on why our mom wasn't bathed. She smelled ripe. As did others. Call buttons ignored for 30+ minutes because staff was too busy out smoking. The lot on the west side is full of cigarette butts. They seemed to lose medical equipment that we ended up getting billed for and they broke her cell phone too. There were more than a few items of clothing that went missing. Yet they saw my mom with a sweatshirt on and claimed it belonged to someone else. They said I was lying when I said I just brought that from home today. Even after I showed them the sewn in label, they didn't think I was telling the truth. Like I brought a sewing machine into the building, stole someone's sweatshirt and sewed my mom's name into it. Then we got late fees added on when they hadn't even billed insurance yet. We pulled our mom out before they killed her. They were sure padding that bill as soon as we pulled Mom out to take her home. There were a few staff members who were good. Delores was not one of them. Same goes for the physical therapy folks. Hope should be fired.

Our father ejoyed his life here for past several years!!! 2nd floor Nurses and staff provided EXCELLENT and loving care. Very clean, peaceful environment. Lots of enriching activities as well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Pleasantview and hardworking very courteous and kind Nursing staff, kitchen and cleaning staff!!! Love, Karols children, grandchildren, and family

Pretty looking place. Someone I care about was mistreated by a aid. She can't have pepper a aid telling her to just scrape it off it's going to take forever to get another meal. Hey Deloris it's hard to scrape off pepper don't be rude. I'd of given a 5 star but aids need to be friendly. That's not ok

I've worked here through agency and it is the nicest facility I've been too! Residents are well cared for and staff was so welcoming! Also a very clean and updated facility!

The staff at Pleasant View was very kind, caring and informative with both of my grandmother's time there as an Alzheimer's patient and my mother's bounce back time/rehab after she broke her hip. We always felt at ease knowing they were in good hands and are grateful for their skilled staff, time and expertise.

My mother was a resident for about one month... she went in for rehab and General overall care. The care was excellent and when she was discharged she was in excellent health... she is 94 and able to live in her own home..... The physical therapy staff was amazing... they seemed to be generally concerned that my mom would be able to go home.

My grandpa is in Pleasant View currently and has been treated very well. Much better than the other place he was at. He is finally healing and truly being taken care of properly! He enjoys it there as well. I never have to worry and we know he is safe.

My mother who is 93, moved in to one of the independent units, in September. Frankly, I thought that her health was failing rapidly. After five months there she has made an amazing recovery/rebound. I simply cannot say enough about how well run this is, How kind the staff is, how clean the facility is, how diverse the activities are, how terrific the food. And how reasonable the cost. She is in one of the patio homes and they remodeled from top to bottom the perfect floor plan everything accessible everything easy and a beautiful central garden area. I hesitated sending her to assisted living nursing home but it was the best decision we ever made. She is very happy and I could not be happi

I live in the independent villa here at Pleasant View and I did this for my children. During this last week of bitter cold temperatures they had a a lot to worry about, one thing however was not me. My neighbors and I had several dinne parties and we were able to safety get to each other's homes because everything was plowed and salted. The staff brought us meals when we could not make it to the dinning room. They also did wellness checks twice a day to make sure w had everything we needed. It was by far the best decision I have ever made.

My dad was at PV for about 5 months. The experience was wonderful. The nursing staff was very helpful and treated dad with respect. Would recommend to anyone.

Our organization recently had a luncheon at Pleasant View. We were seated in a lovely dining area. Chef Charlie provided us with a delicious lunch, including a yummy dessert. Jennifer and Steve made sure our needs were met and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be going back to Pleasant View!

When my father was moved to Pleasant View 5 years ago, our family liked Pleasant View for the way that all different living arrangements were all on one campus. My father has lived in Assisted Living (Hearthstone) and in the Healthcare Center. The transition in moving was so easy and stress free on my father. Everyone at Pleasant View is always nice and willing to help in any way. I never have to worry about my father. He gets the best care possible at Pleasant View!

My mother has lived in the apartment setting since 2012. She came from out of town, but due to the friendliness of the residents and staff, now considers Pleasant View her home. The facility and staff offer a wide variety of activities both within the facility and outside as well. It truly is a community setting as staff provide social activities for all residents though out the spectrum of care offered. The Physical Therapy, Bistro dining and regular dining are all top notch. I love that no matter where she is in her journey (she is 91) there is a place that fits her needs-Thank You!

My grandmother has stayed here for short recovery/therapy after a hospital stay multiple times. Each time the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. I would recommend this for any family looking for a loving and inviting place for a loved one!

My mom has been at Pleasant View numerous times for rehab after a hospital stay. She is very happy with the care she is given, loves the therapy, raves about the food. I couldn't be more satisfied with her care at Pleasant View. She comes home much more well-equipped to be in her own home. Thank you Pleasant View!
