My Dad just left skilled nursing at FG, after 6 weeks. His care was definitely above average, but the relationships he made with the employees - from nursing to kitchen, were excellent! Staff is friendly, welcoming and responsive. They have lots of activities and I was very impressed that they took all patients- even bedbound - to their lovely courtyards to watch the Eclipse! I am so glad my Dad got that opportunity! Hope he doesn't go back, but he would feel almost at home if he did!

We are so appreciative of the fine staff at Forest Glen. Thank you so much for being so kind to my mom. We love them all! Special props to night nurse Jennifer for taking such good care of my mom's legs - she is stellar! We would like to give a special gold star to Jordan for going beyond the call of duty in shampooing my mom, bathing her, and doing everything with such extra care and kindness. Jordan is a true healthcare angel! We'd also like to thank nurse aide Lisa Hall for her wonderful work. Lisa noticed some sore areas and treated them with a protective cream, and has also gone above and beyond to be caring and helpful. All staff are wonderful. Bless you!

The level of care and attention to detail that the staff and care teams provide our family members and residents is beyond anything else I have experienced in my 14 years of nursing. The commitment and dedication to serve our community is evident in every interaction and I am so excited for our team and facility. Activities and therapy are top notch and the personalized service we provide is almost unheard of in long term care. Our values show in every bit of work we accomplish as a strong and positive team. This is truly a place where the employees care about the residents and each other. From food to housekeeping to activities to nursing I have been super impressed with the atmosphere in this building. Therapy here works so hard to get people up and moving to thier full potential. I would recommend Forest Glen to my family which says alot.

I do not give 5 stars lightly. My Mother is a resident here. My Mother went here for Rehab. She was to be released from Almost Home, but unfortunately had another battle with a medical condition that afflicts elders, and went to hospital. When released she was sent to another Skilled Nursing Facility. The worst week of our lives. I called Forest Glen and requested my Mother be moved. Everyone was the most helpful they could be. They had to be annoyed by all my calls, but if they were, I did not know it. They worked diligently to get her there. This SNF has food that is delicious, and it is served to those that stay in their room by a server who knows them by name. Helps them cut, take off packaging, and if they look and don't like it, they go get them something else. Is everything absolutely perfect... No. But I will say, that we are in an employee crunch. No one wants to work. Aides are helpful, and seem competent. Nurses have been up and down with me, a family member. I am my Mother's advocate. A few have been very dismissive and at times rude. Others have been great. This SNF provides many levels of care to be able to transition to. Upper management is great and have never dismissed me, no matter how long I yackity yack. My Mother's future is a question mark. They give me information, but do not push. This SNF will be my lifeline to survive this troubling time.

I originally gave this place 5 stars when my mother and dying father moved in this Spring. They chose them over others because things like utilities, internet, cable, meals, housekeeping etc were included in the high rent. My father died a week ago and mom received a letter in the mail saying that her rent will no longer cover ANYTHING making this place $2400 just for the little duplex and nothing else. They hook you by offering all of these services for one cost and then as soon as the elderly person gets settled, they gouge and nickel and dime you with no warning. Stay away. For this rate, you could just rent a place and pay for those services for far less. Sad because I had recommended this place to so many people after they moved in. Dad died a week ago and now she has to figure out where to live.

Very disappointed when my grandmother passed October 18th as covid took her, I guess masks don't work, her belongings were thrown in a box and some clothes were missing and her TV just mysteriously disappeared, I certainly hope this doesn't happen to any of your loved ones!

My mom has been in AL for a number of years and I have no doubt that the staff and management care about her. The nurses are responsive whenever there is a concern raised. The Life Enrichment team does a great job despite the challenges presented by COVID-19 restrictions. The facility is kept clean. The current Executive Director does a great job of creating a family atmosphere.

I have never worked for a company that believes in their employees as much at Forest Glen. They truly make residents, customers and staff number 1 priority. I believe in their care and service that I recommended that my grandmother went to Forest Glen after her open heart surgery. She received the care that she needed and beyond to her speedy recovery.

After my grandfather had a stroke we were at a lose of what to do next. Forest Glen Health Campus came highly recommend by our friends who have had similar experiences. I wasn't sure what to except but once there we were impressed by the caring staff, meals and over all atmosphere of the campus it reminds you of a hotel they even have a bell hop to transport your belonging from the car to their room. This is what grandpa needed as he was reluctant to come to a "Nursing Home". We felt apart of the process and informed as what would happen along the way. Now my grandfather is home doing a lot better and continues to stop in to see his friends in the therapy department and hang with the guys he ate lunch with while at the center as well. We hope to never need their services again but if we do we will only choice Forest Glen!!

My mother was sent to Forest Glen in September , 2007 when she fractured her hip and needed rehab. I was skeptical as I had not heard anything about them due to the fact that they opened in April, 2007. The care that she received was beyond my expectations to say the least. They helped our family to deal with her dementia which was a new diagnosis for us. The aids cared for her just as we would have and always kept us apprised of everything that was being done. She wasn't the easiest person to deal with but they were used to that and managed to convince her to do all of her physical therapy that was necessary. We will always be grateful for their continuous care with 100% dignity given to the resident. I was so impressed with their facility that I became an activity volunteer and I am proud to say that I still am to this day.
