Everyone is very friendly and professional, the facility is very well organized. Unfortunately It is very understaffed, they have one CNA for about 50 residents, the CNA is also the sever and has to do room trays. While everyone there was so nice I found it impossible to full fill the assignments.

Our mother lived at Summerfield for two years before recently passing away. Everyone was so nice, helpful & caring there plus it is just the right size, very clean and they treat everyone with kindness & dignity! I highly recommend Summerfield!

When we were looking for a place to put my mother we toured a lot there are some horrible, stinky, yucky feeling places! Summerfield looks like a five-star hotel. We placed my mother there for the last few months of her life I wish we would have done it earlier. They are so kind and nice and accommodating. They really love the residents and take care of them. The difference was stark from where we put my dad! I would never hesitate to recommend anybody to put their loved ones in Summerfield.

There are more people who write bad reviews than good reviews, but when someone writes a good review you know 100% it's true. Having my grandma at summer field has been the best decision I have ever made. I love how cautious the employees have been through COVID. As hard as it is not to see my grandma, I know she is safe and is being well taken care of. The CNA's are so sweet and treat all the elder with kindness and compassion. They will sing, paint her nails, read her a book, and go out of their way to make her feel at home. Management has done a really good job when the times were different, to include families in activities they throw for the elderly. I love how clean and at home they make the facility feel. The food is great and they make sure that the elders have a well rounded meal. They try their best to listen to the elders and see if what foods they love and what they grew up eating. They make sure that no one is left out and has a friend to sit by. They make sure the tables are set just like you would set it at home. I love love the dinning and kitchen set up. My grandma is so happy and is well taken care of. We love summer field and would recommend them in a heartbeat. She was so sad and lonely sitting at home alone. Now she has a sparkle in her eyes, she laughs like she did when she was young. She has her group of friends and family at summer field. Had a family member here for the remainder of their time, and they loved it. Summerfield took all precautions necessary to protect my loved one, and they were very accommodating with my family during the end as well. All in all, an amazing facility.

I am so impressed with Summerfield, especially how they have handled COVID-19. The staff is so friendly and nice and take extra care - so much better than other places we have been! They are so compassionate for those facing end of life and make it the best experience possible, especially considering the circumstances. Summerfield is great. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. From my various interactions with them I can tell they really care about the resident's wellbeing. My grandmother had stayed in many different homes before she passed but none of them compared to Summerfield. It really is a great place for a loved one to live out their final days.

Having to put a family member in a home is such a hard decision. Picking summerfield was the easiest decision I have had decide. My mom loves the people there, the staff and her friends, she loves having a family and people there. Everyone there is super friendly and makes me feel welcome. I am feel so comfortable asking any questions I have. I feel very included in the decision that are made about my mom. The CNA's are respectful and know what they are doing. Everyone there is o good at communicating and keeping everyone in the loop. My favorite part about summerfield is how at home it feels. It doesn't feel or look like a retirement home it looks like a home with many rooms. The dinning area looks like a restaurant and the food is surprisingly good. They are treated like they are at a restaurant with plate set ups and a soda machine. My mom is so happy there and she feels like she has freedom and I love that I know she has freedom but she is in a safe place. Hands down a really great retirement home. -Bryan Jones

I've had my share dealing with multiple care facility's for my loved ones and I have to say Summerfield by far has been the best place you could bring your loved ones to, it's vary clean up kept and organized. The staff treats my parents like family and is always their when they need them. From the food made to the rooms cleanliness is all around 5 stars. One thing that's worried me since the pandemic is the safety of my parents I hear of Covid spreading through Care facilities like wild fire and feared that this would effect my loved ones as well but the polices in place make me feel like they are safe there. It's very organized on setting up a time to see my parents and polices are very clear and straight forward on the rules. It's not easy with what's going on but again I feel like my parents are safe and really well taken care of. The staff has gone above and beyond for me and my parents a huge shout out to some of the nurses Helena and Gwen I think? Also I don't remember his name but the supervisor as well. I'm seeing reviews on Google and I have to say something my parents have been in two other facilities in Orem alone and Summerfield has been light years above what the others were and I don't think some people know what it's really like at other places and the care your love ones get else where. So thank you Summerfield for your excellent care and concern for my family and I.

Dan is the Director at Summerfueld and is the reason we chose to place my aunt there. He is very hands on, and worked closely with the residents, their families and the staff to make sure our loved one was comfortable and happy. After visiting many different centers, Summerield was the only place that we felt comfortable placing her in.

Because you are taking time to read the reviews for Summerfield Retirement, then you like myself, recognize the importance of the life changing decision you are about to make. Following my visits to many similar facilities in Utah Valley I tallied the results and found the quality of care given to the residents and the cleanliness of the facility to be among the top. The undeniable positive atmosphere which permeates Summerfield, places it at the head of the list. My daughter summarized the difference up with these words "I especially noticed the caring mannerisms including a smile on their faces as they helped the residents." My mother was well cared for and truly enjoyed her year and a half at Summerfield. It's just the right size. Large enough to offer a wide variety of daily programs, field trips, special annual celebrations and small enough to provide up to date individualized care. I encourage you to visit Summerfield and see for yourself. It will be time well spent.

My dad lived at Summerfield for the last 8 months. He enjoyed the wonderful food and made many friends. He liked the activities and was happy here. The staff was always helpful, kind and responsive. Summetfield Retirement is conveniently located in North Orem. They have a very friendly and well trained staff. They meet the needs of the residents quickly with a loving, caring attitude. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. They have a variety of accommodations available. There are open courtyards with beautiful flowers. The roses are amazing. They even have a pond with fish. Many interesting activities are provided. Guests often come to share their talents. I'm very impressed with Summetfield. I trust them so much my Mother is living there.

My mom is there and at 93 years old she knows she is their favorite. Everyone thinks they are the favorite. We looked around and when first meeting Dan were made to feel welcome. I have told my kids to put me in Summerfield when I am ready to need assisting. Highly recommend! Thanks Summerfield for taking such good care of my mom.......your favorite!
